It was decided in his own mind that he would go to the mountains with @Aure, there was just one other person he had to notify.  The battle was still fresh in Drageda's mind, and he wasn't sure if heda would think it a good idea to train their newest prospective rauna, so he sought @Blixen's company instead.

He'd called Mallaidh brilliant despite Tux thinking she was anything but — like him, her sense must be clouded by something else.  It'd surely be easier to convince his older sister than the indomitable @Antumbra, and if all else failed he could just manipulate her feelings wheedle.
LMAO TUX

she's not terribly hard to find, given she's only ever basically in one of two places, patrolling or with nomi (or mallaidh). rulsaka's attempt at infiltration has not weighed too heavily on her mind -- drageda soundly won, far as she's concerned. they'd taken down one of the enemy and retained their captive. should she have killed that girl? maybe -- but she stands by her decision. drageda has honor.

if she tries to trespass again, though, blixen won't hold back.

when she sees tux approaching she perks up, reaching out to give him a friendly nudge in greeting. she has a soft spot for a lot of the younger generation, she's realizing -- those that remained, anyway -- but tux in particular reminds her a little bit of herself at that age. of course if she knew about some of his ... less inspired theories, maybe that'd be different, but as it stands ... he's a good kid. "hey kiddo," blix greets him, "what's up?"

She really does make herself easy to find.  Its convenient for him, really, because Blixen was far more malleable than Heda when it came to things like this.  Hey, kiddo, she says and he bristles in indignation, furious that he is still seen by others both in and outside Drageda as a child.  He makes to shoot off a heated response but catches himself and releases a breath instead.

In a very Tux-like manner that wastes no time, he says straight to the point: I want to take my brana south to train her.  Its a statement but in his own way it is also a question.  To the mountains.

blix catches the bristling and raises an eyebrow but doesn't comment, not particularly bothered. she was also a prickly, defensive kid. besides, he gets to the point quickly, and her other eyebrow shoots up to match. "your brana," she repeats, sly amusement curving her mouth into a very teasing smile. "and that would be..?" not that it's difficult to guess -- there aren't that many brana, and ali would be, haha, furi's brana if anything, which leaves the ones she hasn't met properly yet.

as fun as it is to tease her brother, his question is serious and deserves thought. he's young and the mountains are pretty far -- he's proven himself capable, sure, but that's still a big trip. "why the mountains?" she asks after a few moments, willing at least to give him a chance to justify it before she decides.
