8 days , its been 8 days since the young Arctic Wolf Tyrion Ba'al Samem was chased from his home by rabid dogs and bullets. Doing his best to avoid territories controlled by other packs he stayed within the Neverwinter Forest. The warm air brushing against his fur. The smell of wood and animal feces all around him. This whole outside world was savage and Tyrion hated it. He continued sprinting through the woods hoping to put further distance between himself and whoever was after him. Eventually Tyrion got tired and had to rest , he laid on the ground as if he was dead and started to catch his breathe. The short dash proved to Tyrion that he was completely out of shape and if that wasn't bad enough he was getting hungry too. Tyrion had no idea how to hunt , when he lived with his master Ghani Hassan food was brought to him. In fact in his previous life of glamour , money , and power Tyrion had it all. He had his own room complete with his own bathroom , toys and workout center and he even had a H.D.T.V with surround sound. He went on trips to exotic islands and countries and got to sit in first class with his master and his masters son Demetrius Hassan while other dogs had to sit in coach or other deplorable locations. All these perks considered the best memories of living with his former master came from the way he was treated. Ghani and Demetrius treated him like a member of the family instead of like a wolf or a animal and that alone will always be the most cherished detail of his past. Unfortunately those days are over. With his stomach growling like a monster Tyrion rises up and begins to eat the only food available to him and his horrible skills and a predator , fruit. He didn't know the particular name of the fruit , although he does remember eating them before. They were a combination of red , orange and yellow and they had a large hard brown seed in the middle. Tyrion could tell they originally grew in the trees before falling to the ground. They were now covered in dirt and bugs. Tyrion understood , given the situation , he had no rite to be picky so it didn't matter. After consuming enough filth to fill his belly Tyrion yawns and lays down to sleep , hoping when he wakes up he wont be staring down the barrel of a rifle.
A horrifying scream violently awakens Tyrion from his slumber. At first hes reluctant to move from his position but eventually his curiosity gets the best of him. Tyrion looks around for the source of the sound. Then he hears it again. " GROAARRRRRRRRRRRRR "
What ever was making the noise was close and he stealthily moved in its direction. Tyrion peaked over the hill and literally witnessed the most incredible confrontation of his young life. Two wolfs taking on the biggest bear he had every seen. Tyrion was a strategist so after getting over the shock of what he was watching and specifically observing the wolfs for a short period of time he fully analyzed their attack plan. The brown wolf distracted the bear while the black wolf focused on biting and slashing the bears legs. The bear was strong and fought with everything it had but it was clear the wolfs assault was taking effect. With the final swing of its claws the bear rip a chunk of flesh from the black wolf before collapsing. After the bear let out a few more light groans the brown wolf finished it off by bitting his neck and enjoying the first piece of a well earned meal. Both the wolfs ate good devouring a majority of the bears corpse. As the wolfs finally stopped eating and prepared to move on to their next objective Tyrion noticed the black wolf have a severe limp. Now things were getting really interesting Tyrion thought to himself. Digging a hole for his fruit and snacking on the leftover bear the two wolfs no longer wanted Tyrion came up with a plan. He sniffed the black wolfs flesh that was still caught in the bears claws and began tracking the wolfs down.
It took several hours but Tyrion finally tracked down the 2 lone wolfs who killed the giant bear. Apparently they set up camp under a tree in the Neverwinter forest too. Tyrion and these two wolfs were practically neighbors. The brown wolf looked tired but had no significant injuries. The black wolf however looked incredible pale and could barely walk. The brown wolf licked the wounds of the black wolf hoping to offer some relive to his wounds. Despite these efforts anyone watching , let alone Tyrion himself, could tell the black wolf was finished. Tyrion could smell the blood in the air and soon other predators would too. He had to strike now. He moved quietly trough the woods around the back of the black wolf. He slowed his breathing and kept his body low to insure the brown wolf didn't see him. Building up wrath and adrenaline by remembering the pain his former master suffered he pounced from the shadows and crushed the wounded black wolf beneath his weight. The brown wolf jumped back in utter terror. Tyrions surprise attack worked perfectly. Using the same technique the brown wolf used on the bear Tyrion bit the neck of the black wolf and rip out his throat. The brown wolf was still frozen in fear. Covered in blood and flaring his sharp fangs Tyrion yelled in the deepest most intimidating voice he could " MY NAME IS TYRION BA'AL SAMEM AND NOW YOU HAVE SEEN THE EXTENT OF MY MERCY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ".
The brown wolf stands in awe. Tyrion spits out the blood of the black wolf and walks towards the brown wolf. The brown wolf steps in the opposite direction. He uses what little energy he has left to prepare himself for his final battle. " Do you expect me to beg ? " asks the brown wolf. Tyrion smiles " If you did you would reveal that I made a miscalculation of your character and thus I would have no reason to keep you alive". The brown wolf is confused. " What are you talking about" ? asks the brown wolf. Tyrion elaborates "I was watching you when you took down the bear, your an excellent killer.". Tyrion continues "I might have use for someone like you". The brown wolf snarls in disapproval. "I'm nobodies b**ch" says the brown wolf. Tyrion chuckles " I dont want you to be my b**ch, i want you to join my cause". The brown wolf responds "You kill my friend and you expect me to help you ?". Tyrion ignores the brown wolfs inquiry and moves closer to him. "Whats your name ?" asks Tyrion. "I'm JOGGLER of the Shadow Law pack" says the brown wolf. " Shadow Law ? " Tyrion responses in disbelief. " I wasn't aware that a pack of that name existed , I mean i've heard of a pack called Silvertip Mountian but I've avoided them by staying in the free territories". Joggler responses "It makes sense that you have'nt heard of us, we were a convert pack or essentially mercenaries hired by larger packs to gather supplies and execute wetwork". Joggler looks up at a object attached to the tree. "That was our crest up there." Tyrion looks up and sees a sign which appears to be a bears head with two swords crossing behind it. Tyrion asks " There were only two of you fighting the bear and there's no one at your base of operations under the tree , what happen to the rest of your pack ?''. Jogglers facial expression was soon consumed by sadness. " Our leader abandoned us......." says Joggler. He continues " We just called him THE BOSS and he was literally the most proud and merciless wolf I had ever met". Tyrion responses "Merciless ? , how merciless ?, please explain". " Our former pack Shadow Law was mostly made up of orphans and strays but thanks to The Boss we became ruthless assassins". says Joggler. " We were mostly given the task of clearing the territory for other packs by killing rival predators" Joggler explains. " Yes , yes, thats all well and good but you referred to this Boss wolf as merciless, why did you say that ? " asks Tyrion. He had to know why a wolf as sinister as Joggler , who practically eliminated a animal four times his size by himself, would see another wolf as more dangerous they he was. It takes Joggler a while to explain himself but with his life on the line he got over his hesitations and exposed a dark truth. "In order to join Shadow Law you had to.......... kill a human." said Joggler. It was unbelievable, this whole time Tyrion thought he was some kind of tough guy but he was a cowardly little pup compared to The Boss. He didn't now or probably never would have the courage to kill a human. Ironically thats exactly the courage he needed to avenge Ghani Hassan. " The first human I killed was a circus joggler so thats how i got my name" says Joggler. " I personally killed 7 humans myself while in the pack but The Boss killed 24" he continues. Tyrions inferiority in the presence of this superior wolf and his even more superior boss finally reaches a boiling point and he exclaims "So if this "Boss" wolf is so strong and legendary why did he abandon you !!!"?. Joggler responses "I dont know, but when he left our pack broke off into factions and a majority of them were killed by larger packs". "Me and the black wolf you killed named Yajurobi were the only ones who remained still loyal to The Boss." Joggler continues. Tyrion saw his play and he went for it. "Ok Joggler , I've made a decision, in exchange for helping me i will both give you your life and help you rebuild your pack" says Tyrion. " Rebuild my pack , how ?" asks Joggler. " The detials of how I do this are'nt important now, what is important is what i need you to do" says Tyrion. He continues " I require you to do 5 things, first hunt and kill a lot of 10 fish ounce a week and bring it to this camp site in the Neverwinter forest, second to increase your fighting skills in the sparing pits, third to scout all the free terrotories in the Great Bear Wilderness and gather intel, fourth to accompany me on high risk missions regardless of the amount of danger, and fifth , which is the most crucial to remember, what ever friends or alliances you make along this journey your allegiance is to me first". Joggler couldn't comprehend why Tyrion would believed that he was capable of honoring such a large request but decides to hide his doubts behind blunt obedience. "Understood" said Joggler. "Great you can begin by setting up camp at the White Fish River." said Tyrion. Joggler turns around and heads for his destination. Before he bursts into a full blown sprint he turns back to Tyrion and says "Thanks for not killing me". Tyrion smiles and watches joggler disappear over the horizon.
Its been a week since Tyrion sent the wolf named Joggler on his mission. Tyrion himself put a majority of his efforts into turning Jogglers former camp site into his personal base of operations. He urinated on the tree that hung the crest of the now disbanded wolf pack Shadow Law and used the head of the bear Joggler and Yajirobe killed as warning to other wolfs and predators. With the food situation taken care of by his agreement with Joggler he could now use the extra time he had gained to increase his stamina by running around the forest and increase his hunting skills by killing smaller prey. Tyrion ventured out into the woods, like he did everyday this past week, in search of something new to kill. This routine was interrupted by a vicious sound. BANG ! BANG!! BANG!!!!! Tyrion jumped back into the bushes like a scared child. After taking a moment to compose himself he peeked out to see what caused the sound. To the northeast, just 30 yards from where Tyrion was hiding, three men, one of them holding two german shepherds on a lease, walked up to the animal they had just shot. The men wore camouflaged tactical gear, in the same colors of the forest that surrounded them, with several ammunition pockets. Their combat boots were black. They wore medium green ski masks and dark green berets. They held some type of fully automatic high powered rifle with attachments including a scope, a laser sight, and a grenade launcher. Of course Tyrion couldn't identify a majority of the details of these intruders uniforms himself, he did however recognized one detail specifically. The insignia they wore both on their berets and their shirts. It was cartoon illustrated canine crushing the american flag in his jaws and holding to large rifles that fired into the sky. Tyrion could never forget that symbol, it was the EJINN.
