@Slavik I made an effort
fun fact: I went to this lake yesterday to see the sunrise. It looks 20 times better in real life.

With a blow of cold morning wind a lump of snow in the ground is blown away to reveal  Pyro, who finally wakes from a bad night. Though the snow was light, the darkness and the fatigue had forced the mocha wanderer to call it a day before he could find a safe place to spend the night, and curling up between a hollow log that he'd been way too fig to fit inside and a large rock with the shape of a cracked egg Pyro braced for the cold ahead. Thankfully his father's heritage had granted him thick skin and Alaska-worthy fur to provide some isolation from the cold and he had managed to live through.

Shaking off the snow that the wind hadn't managed to blow off his shoulders Pyro raised to stretch out sore muscles, and what a wonderful mesmerizing view he had awaken to. Before he could set out again he decided that as a reward for surviving the night he would give himself the morning to enjoy the solitude of a lost place. Pyro lays down again to admire peach and mauve rays of dawn light hitting rock formations atop the mountains in the background, and underneath their shadow, a lake coated in snow lay just a couple strides away from Pyro's improvised campsite. The clouds and the colors made for a natural masterpiece in the sky, and the naked, mauve-painted aspens surrounding him made it feel like he was the only living thing in the world.
this starter is fantastic wy talking about <3 and this lake is so pretty I’m jealous

After his night spent walking the glen with Wraen, Slavik had decided to spend a little more time out wandering instead of turning back then. He’d spent the night in a cozy spot at the base of a tree and woken up early to traverse the broken underbrush of the forest. Golden paws warmed the snow as he broke tree cover, and found himself at the edge of a broad lake. One wouldn’t know that this was once a rippling source of water; now it was an ice field, covered in a peachy dawn cast snow. If he didn’t know any better he might try to walk over the lake, but Slavik was no pup anymore.

The sunbeam boy made his way slowly around the edge of the lake, when a chocolate splash nearby caught his eye. A male lay looking out at the gorgeous morning, admiring the view with a similar veneration as Slavik. Sunlit eyes mingled on the chocolate male for a moment, a smile reaching Slavik’s face. It was nice to know that his reverence for the little things in life was shared. Then he let out a friendly bark, to get the male’s attention.
For a long while, Pyro simply observed how all the different colors lit up the landscape. The air was so fresh, filling his lungs with life and tranquility. It seemed unlikely that anything could break this peace, this stillness, even when the background was filled with all the noises from the smaller creatures waking from a cold night. He could make out finches chirping and squirrels digging up pinecones from the undergrowth. A paradise.

It didn't break even when the golden boy barked for Pyro's attention. He smiled and waved with his tail, signaling that he was cool with sharing the moment. In fact, something in the male's eyes was calling for him to move closer. Cold night, huh? he said with a friendly smile, and rose to shake the rest of the snow from his back. I'm Pyro, what's your name?
The chocolatey male turned and gave a friendly response, commenting on the chill in the air. Yeah, he replied, his tail wagging cheerfully. Slavik liked the guy already, though it was hard to be disliked by the golden male. All it took was a smile and a bright introduction. Though something in the warm advance of this Pyro brought Slavik closer as well, something felt a little more special about this one.

Slavik, nice to meet you Pyro! he said, coming to a spot and sitting himself down. Briefly turning his attention back to the lightening view, Slavik added, I'm from Moonspear, that ways, just as another introduction.
Pyri welcomed the male's approach with a warm smile, unable to take his eyes off of him for some reason. It seemed like his bright eyes and golden furs overtook the scenery, and somehow it was now all about him. But he realized how long he'd stared and looked away as the golden boy took a seat and introduced himself too. His eyes shift in the direction that his new friend pointed to and Pyro immediately added a new task to his to-do list. I should come and visit sometime... woah, that came out of nowhere, I mean... I'm a scout so maybe our packs could establish some kind of.. relationship... he tried to explain but somehow he had become the young anxious Pyro stumbling on his own words. At that point he realized he was staring again so once more he looked away to fix his gaze upon the mountains, and in an awkward attempt to change the subject he said it must look real pretty from up there.. and swallowed hard.
