@Vonn

The view was breathtaking, there was no denying that. Or...well, maybe it wasn't the view that was breathtaking but the climb it had taken to get here. Her lithe frame looked awkward in such rough terrain. Even the birds seemed persistent in telling her to get lost. She probably would have argued back if she thought she would have won.

Somethin', somethin', picking battles, somethin'. She was like ninety percent sure that was the saying.

Sadly it was only downward that had a view. The clouds seemed to linger around like they were actually wanted here. Gross. She began looking for a way back down to the beautiful area that beckoned her closer — after almost killing her lungs climbing up here, mind you.

No one had said she was the smartest creature out there.
Vonn, too, had recently straggled to crest the summit, having returned to Raven’s Watch in favor of seeking a new course to traipse along. He’d left his familiar back where he’d met the lilac siren, Miriam, and knew that Revia would be safe within the river.

Now, the porcelain male straggled along the craggy lip, maneuvering through congregations of ravens with all the sensual grace of a bachata contestant; paws light and long, corded limbs considering every next step.

It was only when he drew his gaze back to the most present moment that he noticed a pale, burnished figure up ahead. Even from here, he could feel more than see, that she breathed with exertion from the climb as much as he. He just hoped that he wouldn’t fall again, else he’d have to start tallying each plummet up.

Flaring out the plumey tassel of his pale tail, the scarred male began to work his way towards the lithe female, more than sure she’d seen him already. He couldn’t bear to let a lady suffer alone.
