Laksha yowled madly, scaring the prey for a few miles. She hadn't seen red in a long while and the voices in her head were becoming deafening. For the past week or so, she had settled down by the river, eating fish. Fish had no red blood, their meat was pale, almost white. They were not red meat. She needed to see red, RED!

The white cougar roared in agony and rubbed her ears. "Stop...!" she begged the voices, pupils wide and mad. "Be sileennnttt..!"
I'm so sorry I'm late on this!

Beric's paws padded along the border as he traveled at a brisk pace, his nose and ears on the lookout for anything, or anyone, who wasn't supposed to be there. Beric knew Ragnar was getting fed up with all the trespassers, and Beric agreed with him. It was ridiculous that they were having so many troubles with outsiders, especially after they had moved further away from the other packs. Of course, his heart softened towards Claire, who had made the mistake of crossing the borders, as well. Thankfully, the leaders had been lenient towards her. If she had come later, they might not have been.

A cat's yowl brought Beric to an abrupt halt, his head jerking up and his ears perking. A growl ripped from his throat as he set off at a dead run towards the intruder. It may not have been a wolf, but it was every bit, if not more, dangerous. The big cats could be angry, and were known to kill wolves. Beric's nose picked up its scent, and he growled again when it came into view. His hackles raised and he brought himself up to his full height. This is not where you want to be, Cat, he growled out in warning.
