Aliac was curious if what her and Sunny did had worked. She k ew of the physical changes that would happen in the weeks to come but other than that the young wolf was more confused than ever before. This week had been incredibly different. She found herself feeling slightly nauseous when she was around or even smelt certain types of meat.

Her dreams of her mother became more frequent as the weeks went on and she found herself wondering greatly as she looked up at the sky she let out a small sigh. “Will I be able to be a good mother when the time comes?”
it was hard to miss the wolf that lingered at the edge of embrflame, for she bore a swinging belly and caiaphas was a wych honed to such traits. she originally had little intention of socializing, but considering she recognized neither the wolf nor her scent, elected instead to forego plans of scavenging for herbs in favor of inspecting this lone woman.

she did not hide her approach, but she did not rush it either. from a distance it was likely aliac would notice her - a thing done deliberately, as to not spook the expecting creature.
Aliac sighed slightly and was pulled from her thoughts. She heard footsteps and quickly looked in there direction. It was abother she wolf, being the social wolf she was. Aliac spoke up. "Hello." She said it loud but softly enough as to not sound like a threat. It had been a while since she had spoken to another female.
the songbird's gaze lifted, falling upon caiaphas with warmth she was not accustomed to. it seemed the she-wolf was, despite being alone, receptive to company.

caiaphas did not recognize the woman nor the scent her pelt bore, but in an effort to appear at least non-threatening, gave a slim smile. "why are you alone?" she did not favor the idea of a wolf laden with pups alone in the wilderness -- there were too many kidnappers nearby.
Aliac sighed she didn’t truly know why she was alone. “Everyone seems busy so I thought I’d get some air.” It was true something felt different back in the pack and she found herself alone often.
caiaphas spared a brief smile of sympathy; it was entirely fabricated, though aliac would likely be none the wiser. as her tourmaline gaze moved from the she-wolf to the packlands beyond her, caiaphas drew to a supine position. it was in part because she was simply tired -- but it was also a gesture of comfort in her surroundings.

if aliac changed her tune, the wretch would be spring-ready with fangs bared -- but something told her aliac was not the ambushing type. "busy with what? there is not much to do this time of year but wait for the snows to thaw. busy waiting?"
It seemed to her that everyone back in Elysium was busy doing something yet she for the life of her could find nothing to do but wait in patience for the pups that were to come. “Well with the litters of pups that will be coming soon most I’ve seen have been hunting and doing there own thing. Yet I can’t even find a hare if I tried.” Especially at this state she didn’t want to do anything that could injure the life growing inside.
it appeared the pale damsel was not the only mother to soon be expecting. caiaphas did not know elysium well, but multiple dams meant a pack in good health. her gaze flickered from aliac to the distant stronghold, her lips pursed thin in thought.

"i could find a hare for you." caiaphas offered. truth be told, it was not an honest offer -- she planned to slip off the second she could, and would not be coming back.. hare or not.
