@Heloise @Sorin @Siqsa :) slight pp, i can edit if needed

Silence had attempted to fill the space between the two pallid women as they journeyed back to the Vale, though Liri occasionally broke it to point out some landmark or reveal a bit of Teekon's history to Heloise as they passed by. She expected no answer, as the already quiet woman held the first spring blooms of marigold to grace the mountains in her maw. Still, it helped to abate the healer's nerves a bit as the protective, territorial instinct brewed in her gut as they neared.

She'd grown feral, or perhaps only half-feral, in the dark times of her life and some part of her disagreed with bringing a stranger so close to the newly claimed territory or the males who meant so much to her. Liri's gaze flickered to the icy femme, reassuring herself once again that Heloise didn't seem like a threat.

The tundrian might have mentioned that they had reached their destination but the faint markings and scents left by their trio proclaimed itself. She shot the girl a reassuring look, leading her through the heart of the fishbowl - through the forest that guarded the boundaries of the glade, across the open meadow and through the stream of tiny rivulets.

They neared the southernmost reaches of the Vale, climbing the slight footpaths that led to the lowest of cave openings. The musky, masculine smells of her companions grew stronger until at last Liri came upon the dark pair.

Liri chuffed to draw their attention, ears pricking and tail raising to her hocks in subtle dominance should they react negatively to the sudden presence of her guest.

"Sorin, Siqsa, " she murmured, "this is Heloise cel Mare. I came across her while looking for some herbs to patch you up and she was kind enough to help, " this was directed at the dragon as her coffee optics landed on the healing injuries twining across his limbs and torso.

"Heloise, Siqsa 'Ntima', my brother, " she introduced with a gesture towards the former Plateau wolf. "And Sorin Direwood, my friend, " she nodded in the raven's direction, voice faltering slightly over the last word.
ooc; waves to all =D

the trip was shorter than she assumed, though it was a distance in itself. she did not know how Liri managed with three limbs, and her respect for the woman's endurance grew. Heloise would have felt burdened if she was in the same position. four good legs were required for traveling and defending oneself. that was merely her opinion, however. it did not make the other any less in her eyes.

carrying the marigold, she mutely made her way to the small group. Liri was in front, a constant in their lives thus far, and Heloise would hang back as she was introduced. Sisqa and Sorin. she kept her surprised to herself, for they were both men taking obvious order from a woman of no pack rank. it was something she would enjoy seeing more of, yes. bending down, she would rest the marigold on the spring ground and raise her skull once more.

"greetings" she would offer, for Liri had basically told them everything they needed to know of her.
waves back
Sorin had been exploring near the southern edges of the vale when he caught Liri's scent, as well as that of another, unknown female. He had been quick to hed her way, calling out to Siqsa incase the man had not already detected her return. He glanced at Liri, quickly assessing that she had come across no ill fate during her travels. His expression however, adopted his typically guiarded complexion as he regarded her new companion.

She too was an ivory women, and she too bore scars, the most predominant one cutting across her nose. He met her eyes, seeking out whatever scars may lay on her heart with a quick but calculating glance. However, he could discern little, the scars on her heart were either not as fresh or not as bare as Liri's had been upon their first encounter. Still, he was sure they were there, for scars on the body almost always left something on the heart, no matter how minor.

"Welcome back," he said, turning his gaze to Liri as she spoke, introducing the women. The dark man narrowed his eyes briefly at her display of dominance, but he wasn't really all that concerned. He knew it was probably meant to dissuade any aggression towards the newcomer, as opposed to truly trying to rule over him or Siqsa. It was a smart play on her part really, the sort of thing a leader should do.

Sorin nodded in greeting to Heloise, but offered no words, not particularly interested in a drawn out conversation at the moment. His expression remained fairly neutral as he appraised her again, seeing nothing incredibly noteworthy for now, besides her scars. While he trusted Liri's judgement in bringing the women here, he wasn't going to give up his cautious nature just yet; even if she had brought along marigold. Instead, her simply nodded in thanks for her assistance, before turning back towards the center of the vale. If she decided to stick around, then he would likely share a more friendly conversation. He'd give her a chance, he had to do that at least, but for now, he was in no hurry to throw caution to the wind.
Despite her joy at finding any kind of medicine for Siqsa so early in the season, her eager yearning to return to the Vale, it paled suddenly as Sorin spoke. Had she been alone, her ears might have drooped with uncertainty at the lack of warmth.

Though he offered a short phrase of welcome, the raven's dark silhouette turned resolutely away as if he had no wish to rest his eyes upon the ivory duo. His eyes narrowed a tic as he drank in the half raised tail, the subtle body language that displayed the northron would allow no harm to fall upon her newfound companion.

Could it be that he disapproved of Liri's actions?

Liri swallowed silently, trying to smother the nervous feeling brewing in the pit of her stomach. She had no desire to lord over the males in her company, it had been an automatic response to display authority - if only to prevent any aggressive outbursts. It was natural for the former leader to take the reins though she wasn't a power-hungry or tyrannical wolf. It seemed that had been a mistake, however, as she drank in the Direwood's reaction.

"Good to be back, " she murmured softly, tones and expression schooled into something resembling neutrality, though her eyes darted away from him.

The fae took the titan's lead, ignoring his presence as she padded to Siqsa's form and sniffed him over. Her dark gaze lifted to Heloise.

"Would you care to assist me?"
it would seem not everyone was pleased with this situation. Heloise's eyes strayed to the dark man, squinting slightly at his lack of a greeting. perhaps Liri had more knowledge of his habits, perhaps he was quiet around new people, and she attempted not to allow him to get under her fur. she had done nothing wrong, only offered to help in any way possible. she refused to feel guilty about this. after regarding the man in silence, Liri's voice would make her gaze turn back to the woman.

"yes" at the offer to assist the woman in healing Siqsa. she moved forward after picking the plants back up, only to drop them at the other woman's side if she had immediate need of them. eyes would travel to the injured, thinking how fortunate he was to have a healer in his group. she usually had to tend to her own wounds by herself, leading Heloise to sport the scars she bore. improper use, still learning... she lacked the steady hand of a true healer. "what do you need me to do?"

Here they were, wrapped up in another bout of trying to fix his broken ass. Siqsa had come to terms eons ago that nothing could glue together the shambles that made him, but it was the hope in Liri's eyes that kept him tagging along, the omen behind the angel, garnet gaze daring anyone to test her in any form or fashion no matter his state. As silly as it sounded to the man who believed it was fruitless to continue on, he's readily lay his life down for the woman who'd taken pity on him when he was on his last leg. Liri hadn't ever left him-

And as he stood at her side, watching her flash her tail and high her head, he knew there was no going back. He gave encouragement to her unintentional reflexes, keeping his bowed head clear of her space but near enough for her to know she was not alone in her defense. Whether this new dame was an ally or somebody else here to suck up to her, the Devil wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Well, that was until it had been made clear that he was to get assisted healing from the other girl. Well yea, Liri told him and Sorin of this chick but he didn't really know her. She didn't show anything of him other than he got his ass kicked by a big elk deer thing. He couldn't even remember what it was.

"Asilas...fashis?" he turned to Liri asking, as though she could even understand what it was he had said. He had taken effort to teach her a bit of Tsis in  their spare time, as she patiently brought him under a bit of her own older culture when they were alone, but it didn't meant either of them understood whatever they spewed at eachother over half the time. He sure as hell didn't want help from a woman he didn't know by heart, instead preferring Liri and her little treatments. He couldn't refrain from trusting her judgement, but damn he hated outside help. But it was much more evident as the Demon wheezed in a breath from heavy lungs. A small shard of rib bone had continuously knicked him in the lung, not thick enough or even large enough to cause massive damage, but it always had a tendency to jab him and cause a couple of blood droplets to spew should he start hacking up coughs.
Which threatened him now.

Taking a deep breath to still it, he tried to keep an apathetic look about him, intimidating even, but a drop of red landed between his massive forepaws. He refused to look at it.

not entirely sure what to do with this thread anymore so gonna try to wrap it up soon if that's cool

"If you'd kindly chew these," Liri suggested, nudging the marigolds towards the pallid woman.

The healer turned, searching for the meager wad of cobwebs she'd gathered in their journeys. She found the bandages tucked amongst the rocks where it was dark and dry.

Returning to the dragon, the sylph could only shake her head slightly with a thin apologetic grimace as the vaguely familiar language graced her auds. Though her brother had begun to educate her in his native tongue, and vice versa, she was not quite learned enough to understand what he asked.

Something about his tones, or perhaps she understood Siqsa better than she believed, led her to believe that the 'Ntima' wanted her to doctor his wounds specifically.

Turning to Heloise, she gestured - somewhat awkwardly - for the warrior woman to spit the flower puree upon a flat stone nearby.

"Sorry, I know the taste is probably horrendous," she murmured in apology.
