ooc; scoping out both stormrift and diaspora for hel; treat this as a potential joining thread/gathering information respectfully ;D any diaspora welcome obviously

she had visited Stormrift at the bay, allowed to cross the territory briefly there to see for herself what people resided there. the leader had been accommodating, though she had enough sense to see what other communities resided in the Teekons. self-development was the focus of the bay pack, playing weakness to strength and she was perfectly fine with that. she just did not jump into decisions easily. having been in the Sunspire before, she had come across the scent of a pack last time she visited.

in fact, there were two distinguished pack scents here. though she knew not their names or their ideals. it was time to gather information. Heloise was no fool, and she had avoided the pack like a plague until she felt confident enough. she was never disrespectful of boundaries. pausing near their scent line, she would offer a calm howl to allow the pack to see she was waiting for someone. they had to come to her, for she could not go to them. while she waited, the pale woman would glance about the area and judge it quietly. her eyes would softly narrow, feeling both the bay and this lake was decent enough.
As round as she had gotten over the last few days, Taki still refused to take it easy, so she was already near the borders when she heard the unfamiliar call. Pregnancy made her even more wary of strangers if that was possible, so she wasted no time seeking out the wolf who had howled for an audience near the edge of their claim.

The pale form of the other woman stood out against muted colors of the land, especially now that the snow had started to melt. Taki trotted towards the stranger, stopping when she was directly in front of her while studying her with her usual suspicion. Yes? she asked, fiery gaze resting on the other woman's face as she waited to hear her reson for being here.
ooc; thanks for putting up with me, hela ;D

she cared not how long she waited. answers came in due time. her own hesitation of joining a community... well, she could not complain nor bitch about waiting. luckily her wait did not last long. the other came quick enough, sides heaving with unborn children unknown to Heloise. she was not a gifted woman in terms of nature's laws; she had no way of knowing if the other woman was pregnant. it really was none of her business anyway.

the other was curt, probably wondering what she was even doing here. "well met" she would muse, not at all put off by the brief query. her tone was a bit quiet, collected, though it was the same as with anyone else. this woman was no different than the countless others she had met. "I come asking questions of this community" and she was ever formal in reply. "might you spare a moment to speak with me?"
Trying to get her more interactive so I'm gonna pop in here.

The howl from the borders had been heard by Kazimir while she ate a meal, resting since she had been out checking the surrounding areas for anything noteworthy. She swallowed a bite of her food and stood up, deciding to wander closer to the borders and see who it was. She tucked her catch away and set off, picking up the pace when she smelled Takiyok on the path. The woman may have the spot that Kazimir sought after, a place just below Stigmata and Mahler, but she was pregnant and she was a packmate which had Kazimir automatically feeling just as protective over her as she was ove their territory.

She strolled onto the scene, vivid flamelike eyes first landing upon the stranger and then drifting to the heavily pregnant Takiyok. Once she was sure everything was okay she hung back though by her posture and proximity it was clear she was here to defend her packmate if anything went sour.
No "putting up with" necessary! <3

She scrutinized the stranger, lifting her muzzle to take in the pale woman's scent and noting it was absent of the smell of others that usually indicated a wolf belonged to a pack That and the fact that she was standing on their borders asking questions led Taki to assume this was a lone wolf. Her ears flicked at the sound of another's approach, Kazimir's scent soon filling her nose and informing her of her packmate's presence, something she was secretly thankful for now that she was so close to the birth of her children.

What questions do you have? she asked, not answering whether or not she actually had time to discuss Diasopra with the stranger; she thought it was obvious that she did since she was standing here expectantly, but she kept that particular remark to herself. There was still a lot to learn about the loner, but she had respected their marked borders, and so Taki thought she at least deserved the chance to ask her questions without the pionier's usual impudence.
ooc; ic develop happened and stormrift will be housing hel for a bit before she makes her pack. i can still play out this thread or we can archive it, either works!

another woman would come to stand with the other. understandable, given that the first woman was close enough now that Heloise saw she was pregnant. new life would soon be birthed to this pack. perhaps they did not have the numbers, then. "this pack's title, for one" the pale beast would request quietly. she was very new to the Teekons and lacked the information. not knowing this was a nomad pack. not knowing their numbers were going to swell and soon.
