Dawson has been traveling well and long with @Cordelia, and had they been around each other for less than they had, he might not have come to be as fond of her as he was. She had methods about her that made him tick, and other mannerisms that tickled him, instead. This did nothing but enrapture the Odolf further-
He would let her out of his sight.

Well, until he did.
The travels had gone on long enough to where he and the woman required a moment of reprieve. Stationing a makeshifts den for her between the uprooted end of a giant palm tree, he found her a rather quaint spot in which to ease her ailed muscles. While she took her rest, the Ray took himself to the Coast, the light and friendly blues of the ravishing sea matching the serpent’s eyes, shade by shade. The glitter was there as well,  a toxic and marvelous hue that hid the worst of his draconian tendencies deep in their cold depths.

The warm breeze courted his fur, ivory and gold waltzing mesmerizingly over his athletic and suave body. He didn’t have the hulky bodies his brothers had. He had the height, but not the brawn. Snakes required wit and cunning- he had both. But rampaging muscles and massive proportions, no.

Dawson was currently pondering what to say as he brought Cordelia to his brothers- how to express his interest in her without seeming smitten. How to claim her without pushing his brothers to compete, or desire her.
How to keep her, and mold her as he wanted.
Where to set up their home- perhaps he would give her the choice?

The afternoon came to claim the world, but there he stood, unaware, and frankly, uncaring.
