After his run in with the yin-yang duo, the last place the wayfarer expected to land himself was among their fallen domain once more. However as fate would have it, he'd gone full circle and once again found himself toeing the edges of their ruined kingdom, only this time it wasn't so decrepit. Fresh, foreign scents marked the beginnings of a newborn empire on the cusp of rising from the ashes of whatever pack had fallen here before, and Sang couldn't help but wonder if the strange pair of girls were the orchestrators behind such a rallying.

Yet upon closer inspection he took notice to their nearly undetectable, suppressed scents. If not them then who? Last time he'd been in the murkwoods he found no others but the girls and yet here lied the emergence of some unknown group who had formed out of seemingly nowhere. Sang found himself even more interested than the first time he'd been this way and without thinking too closely about his decision, lifted his head and called for an audience who could hopefully explain who had taken up residence here.
She emerged from the woods at the call, the unfamiliar voice drawing her attention. He was handsome and well-built, a mahogany titan, and her chin canted in question even before she spoke. Maegi drew to a halt at the edge of the woods, a few tail-lengths away from him.

Yes? she asked patiently. He didn't seem like a threat, nor did Damien's scent cling to him (that she could detect, anyway). Still, he seemed like much more of a warrior than she was, and that fact alone—along with the fact that she didn't know him from Adam—kept her on-guard.

But she ended up trusting him and accepting him, anyway, and that was that.
