If you had to use one word to describe Malcanthet, the best would be aesthete. The worst would be hedonist. He was glad he was born into a culture that worshipped gods who embodied such qualities, as unproductive as they were. While his family worshipped Mephala and Sithis first and foremost, it was not uncommon for them to find other secondary gods to worship that fit more into their personalities. Besides embodying Mephala's sphere of sex, he followed Sanguine's practices of hedonism and sensory indulgences. Sometimes that meant getting railed. Sometimes that meant enjoying the environment.
He was currently doing the latter. He loved flowers and was glad to find a whole field of them in the valley beyond the mountains. In the noon sun he trotted through the meadow, tail held high, rubbing his body on the flowers to put their lovely scent on his skin and carrying the pretty ones for later. His mother's group was far from here, but he found that flowers were particularly resilient when plucked. He could save them for decorations granted he returned within a few days.
this field had a way of attracting all sorts of creatures, he learned quickly. they were small mostly, cupid would watch them crawl or fly about. but today the visitor was larger, similar to his size. if not for the man’s presence he would’ve never gotten up.
he did not pursue the stranger, nor did he call out to him. he simply watched from a distance, moving up a tad everytime he was about to disappear from his view.
Malcanthet bounded through the fields, delighting himself in the spring air. His hedonistic/aesthetic tendencies were in full swing as he enjoyed the bloom. It was a accidental swing of his body that alerted him to the wolf stalking after him.
Hello over there!
He grinned through his bouquet, his tail beginning to wag. He began to walk towards the stranger, slowly so that he did not insight terror. How could one be startled by a man with a bunch of flowers spilling from his mouth? Well it was possible that the stranger was anxious and jumpy, but he would take it in good stride.
