Sorin set out for the center of the Vale with a purpose he had not had for some time. His strides were long, full of a cool energy. A soft wind ruffled the shadow's fur, carrying the calls of the wild. All around him, birds sent up calls in the evening light. The creeks burbled through the center of the Vale, and the grasses swayed gently in the breeze. Sorin let his gaze wander over the valley, appreciating its beauty. This high mountain valley truly was a blessing, a slice of paradise amid the harshness of the land. The thought of losing it caused Sorin a great deal concern.

The knowledge of Diaspora and their culture had lain in the back of his mind since arriving in the Sunspires. He knew they planned to claim the entirety of the mountains, a hopeless endeavor in his eyes. No pack could possibly hope to claim an entire mountain range. Even the nomads who had wandered among the mountains where Viggo made his home never sought to claim the entire range. Still, Diaspora's desires created a threat to the fledgling pack in the Vale. Nauthiz was positioned in the heart of the Sunspires, which would create a definitive barrier to Diaspora's aspirations.

Thus, Sorin sent up a call for @Liri and @Vangard. He needed to know what their thoughts on the possible threat were, and provide ideas if they were open to discussion. Perhaps they could come up with a solution, or refine one that may have already been discussed.
Leea's ears swivelled, pale doves taking to wing, followed shortly thereafter by the northron's soot-sprinkled crown. She was upwind of the summoner but had no need of the faint scent carried by the morning breeze - she knew the voice of Sorin well enough to recognize it. The fae turned south, abandoning her patrol of the borders at the urgency of the warrior's tone.

The ghost pulled from the timber, loping to meet the dark wraith in the center of the paradise - dark eyes rising to her recruit's curiously.

"Heil, Sorin," the healer chimed, head tilting vaguely to the side in wait.
"Not yet Vangard, patience"

He woke with the echoes of a voice he couldnt place in his mind, replaced by the echoes of a call for his presence alongside Liri's. He stood and stretched before heading off, arriving not too shortly after Liri who he slowly moved to stand close to. He greeted her with a warm smile, an affectionate one before turning to Sorin "Everything alright?" he asked, curiosity evident in his expression.
Sorin smiled in greeting when Liri arrived, but offered no words to her. His mind was too caught up in his quiet concerns. Instead, he simply waited for Vangard.

He did not have to wait long, as the viking arrived not long after Liri. He nodded a respectfully in greeting to the man. "For now," he said quietly in response to Vangard's inquiry. Although, if my suspicions are correct, that may change quickly. A flicker of uncertainty and worry crossed his otherwise stoic face, and the dark male lashed his tail lightly. After a moment to regain his composure, Sorin stared intently at the pair, wanting to convey the importance of this not only with words, but actions as well.

"What are your thoughts concerning Diaspora?" he asked.
The fae glanced to Vangard momentarily, wondering how much he knew of the conflict brewing between her group and Diaspora. Her gaze slid back to Sorin, considering his question.

"I have spoken with a delegate of Diaspora. She told me she would ask Stigmata to meet with me but I've yet to receive a response."

"The situation is unknown at the moment - we've no idea whether they will consider an alliance of any sorts."
He thought the question over while Liri answered her part. He didn't know much of this Diaspora but he had visited their borders and found many, many scents. They far outnumbered this small pack and while he was battle ready at any second, he feared what would happen to the others if one occurred. He feared what would happen to Liri. Back home the men and certain proven women who knew battle would be sent out to meet the enemy in battle while the women and children stayed back. They didn't have close to enough members to do that. "If they aren't showing up to give an answer, I do think that makes it clear we aren't welcome. However....what right do they have to this territory?" he didn't know Stigmata or Diaspora's ways. If he did he'd probably be impressed and wish to meet them himself. "If there is a threat of battle if we don't move, I think just backing out and moving would be best" he admitted it begrudgingly and shifted, looking at them both "Why risk lives over a plot of land? We can form anywhere"
