She could not have said for certain what drew her from the Vale's protective walls - nor would she ever - though perhaps it was merely the fulfillment of fate's whims. So many occasions of her life seemed to follow such pointless origin that she'd stopped questioning, choosing instead to cope with what came as it befell her. 

She wandered without direction, without even the company of the snake, along the twists and turns of a mountain ravine. 

Perhaps it was Vangard's flighty presence that forlorned her so or perhaps it was her own precarious existence in life. 

Whatever the case, her mind was drawn away - just as distracted as the pale paw that would come to rest upon the jagged stone, unseen on her path. 

She would gasp as it cut into the fleshy pads of her paw - withdrawing with a sharp hiss. The rolling motion would lend her to stumble in an ungainly fashion - swaying and crashing unevenly like a felled tree. 

The northron's head bashed against a sharp rock on her way down - a stabbing pain against her temple - and then everything went dark.
