@Lyra and @Alya

She ached for the loss of her mother and her father. Their absence created a void within her that she felt that she was impossible to repair—

The sight of Alya there saw that feeling dashed against the stone, as certainly as her mother and father had been. To be sure, there was a newfound emptiness that would remain that their absence had created... but Alya had returned! And the look she had seen reminded her—she had not lost it all; she could be whole again. After addressing the whole of her family, Moonspear itself, and when one by one they moved to depart the horrific scene, Hydra and Lyra both moved to spirit their twin away. Hydra was not intentionally dismissive toward @Nikai (in fact, she introduced him to @Dirge though unfortunately, her introduction was more than a little numb given the series of events) and she was quick to forget him in favor of Alya's return...

Quick to forget everyone, truly, but for Lyra and Alya.

Her tongue was heavy, too heavy, for words presently—but she knew Alya would know every thought that flashed within her weary mind, as Lyra did. No amount of time apart could ever change this.
When she saw her sisters coming toward her, Alya turned her face into @Nikai's neck in apology. "They need me right now," she whispered to her mate, her heart twisting at the thought of leaving his side. As much as her sisters needed her right then, she couldn't help but feel that this new pain would be more easily borne with Nikai beside her. Still, it had never been the Cerberus's way to include others in their private affairs.

Alya wondered at how this might change things between herself and Nikai. They'd only ever been together away from the other girls. "I'll come and find you soon," she said, her dark eyes full of shock and sorrow. She was difficult to draw away from the three-legged male, but ultimately succumbed to Hydra's will.

How could she not?
The sisters converged upon one another, and Hydra moved to lean into Alya and embrace her with her typical rough fondness. She had missed her sister so, which she was certain her mirror image would know. The crushing sorrow that loss had brought to her was very nearly nothing in comparison to the joy she selfishly felt in seeing Alya and knowing she had returned to her. She found her voice at last, and pressed: stay, for now more than ever Hydra needed her.
