backdated uh...a bit ago lmfao sorry yall. rounds will be 3 days to keep it moving, pups can be pped if necessary ❤
It's time to move the pups to the rendezvous site, though she's been reluctant. A touch overprotective, perhaps. But she'd gathered her willpower, had spoken to @Rosalie and @Kavik, and today is the day. It is early when she rises with a deep breath, glancing to her lovers with a soft smile and leaning down to gently nudge @Helios to wakefulness. Wake up, children, She murmurs in French, licking @Lainie's scruff next. It's a peaceful scene, just for a moment. Then, of course, her smallest daughter ruins it. @Zephyr stirs fitfully, fussing and kicking @Polaris as she wakes, and Alessia finds herself glancing to Kavik and Rosalie. She's reluctant to deal with the silver-furred girl, as usual; she simply can't look at her without seeing the sister she will never embrace again.
Lainie blinks her eyes open sleepily and peers at her mother, tail tapping before she was even fully coherent. "Momma?" she murmurs, curiously and with enough infliction to get across the fact that she wanted to know what was happening. Then her attention was grabbed by Zephyr's fussing and a cry from Polaris who seemed awfully upset at the kick. She looked to their mother expectantly because she always comforts their hurts but when she saw her look away Immediately leaped into action herself. Her tail lifted and she snapped a wordless reprimand at Zephyr before hurrying to Polaris and licking her nose "Shhh it was an assident. Wheres it hurt?" her baby voice was full of love for her little sister and she seemed intent upon getting her to stop crying.
The raven boy stirs at the slightest sound; sleep just beginning to grasp at him, and yet, he is lurred away from a fruitful rest by his mother. Helios lifts his head, blinking at the chaos that soon erupts. Typical between his siblings. Alas, he ignores them, and takes to his feet, approaching Alessia instead to brush against her in affectionate greeting. He sits next to her, feeling fatigued per usual and ever curious of why they were awoken from their slumber so early. Usually their parents let them sleep.

She had been up for some time, the call of sleep remaining allusive in the later stages of her pregnancy. Alessia woke their children and Lie witnessed the abuse Polaris had to suffer first thing in the morning. Seeing their dark mother turn away, Lie gave a small frown, having seen the lack of bond between birth mother and youngest. Refocusing on Polaris, at least one of them was kicked or pushed at some point, despite their sickness they were still rambunctious pups.

“Well done Lainie. Zephyr please apologize to your sister, I’m sure that hurt. Are you alright Polaris?” Ever the diplomat, Lie had found that addressing ever pup involved in an altercation was best. Although her seafoam eyes landed finally on Polaris, waiting for Zeph to offer his apology. Helios ever the observant remained out of the chaos and silently (sleepily) sat beside his mother. She offered him a quick glance, and motherly smile.

Lie was conflicted about moving them. She would miss them terribly once her youngest were born, although knew this situation was best. They were already adventuring more and more, and this way they would have the eyes of the whole pack responsible for watching them.

she'd been dreaming, and not the good kind. her little paws had been working to help her run as fast as she could whilst behind her something she couldn't see but really did not need to see, gave chase. all she was aware of was breathing and terrible growling and the fear, that was the worst part. the searing fear in her chest as she tried to run but her body grew heavier and heavier and she'd never make it and crash she awoke with a cry just as it reached her, hitting her hard. of course what had hit her had actually been none other than zephyr but she'd pull herself to the side of the den in a panicked movement nonetheless, blinking groggily as she tried to shake the dream.

it took a moment but finally everything fell into place and although she still trembled lightly at the remnants of the nightmare, she knew now that she was safe, but also sore. worst than that though was that she'd noticed momma look away from her and she'd press close to the ground, not wanting to but unable to help but let a little whimper slip miserably from her jaws. what a bad way to start a day and momma didn't even do anything to comfort her, she didn't seem to care and that didn't sit well with the girl. luckily lainie came to the rescue and polaris would lean into her sister's embrace gratefully- heart beat beginning to calm at her soothing touch. "am okay, jus' got a scareshe'd finally murmur, although happy for her sister's support also not wanting to appear like a complete baby. so with a determined puff of her chest she'd straighten, nodding at maman but not feeling up to more words. she didn't really care if zeph apologized or not, she didn't think he meant it so she didn't blame him so she just sat next to her sister, starting to feel curious as to why everyone was awake so early now that she'd gotten past everything else.
He, too, had been awake for sometime when Alessia began to rouse the pups from their sleep. As with most things involving the children, it did not go without some kind of incident. He met Alessia's gaze, not surprised that she had looked to them to deal with Zephyr. He felt bad for both of them, and usually took it upon himself to usher his daughter away when something like this happened. Lainie, with her usual assertiveness, was at Polaris' side almost immediately, and Rosalie had demanded that Zephyr apologize. Quiet Helios woke without any voiced complaint and went to his mother's side. Kavik walked over to his youngest daughter, stopping near Polaris first to offer a comforting nuzzle to her cheek. She seemed well tended by her sister, and so the alpha continued over to his troubled child. He nuzzled her cheek as well. Apologize to your sister, he said gently, not wanting to undermine Rosalie. Then you can walk with Dad in the front while we move. He hoped the comfort and incentive would diffuse the situation and keep her from feeling like everyone was ganging up on her; it had seemed like an accident, after all.
