She had so many thoughts going through her head. Her sister was near, was Akna? Hashut? So many questions so many without answers she shuttered at the thought of her brother being near. Last time they departed it was when her parents were killed. Now she was pledged to a pack where she would be cursed to be a subordinate. “What am I doing.” That was a question she asked herself often enough.

@Absynthe
"What am I doing?"

The voice beckoned to him and the bony creature moved closer. seems you are doing nothing. The words escaped him in a husky whisper as his tattered form remained a safe distance away. He did not favor the idea of teeth in his flesh from a stranger. Purple eyes watched with patience wondering what she might make of his sudden presence. It was not his fault she had decided to think with her voice.
She was slightly startled by the male but more so by the familiar tongue he spoke with. “I was unaware anyone else spoke my families tongue... as I was also unaware of another’s presence.”  She was unsure of what else to say at this point she was curious to know where he squired it but wasn’t too keen on asking. “I am Serem, and you are?”
your family's tongue? i do believe it reaches far beyond your little circle. Despite how one might interpret his words, there was no malice in his voice. It was merely an observation. Her name was easy enough to remember. Granted he was not entirely positive if he would even need to remember it. What was to come of such an interaction? absynthe. He finally replied smoothly.
He gave his name and the she wolf tucked that information away in her mind for pontential future use. “So what brings you around here?”
nothing. He even offered a roll of his bony, protruding shoulders to accentuate the point. He had been brought here by restlessness and the lull of someone’s thoughtful voice. what brings you here? Surely she wasn’t just wandering aimlessly, mumbling to herself and lurkers in the shadow. Alas he wouldn’t judge (too much) if that was her cup of tea.
He was simply doing nothing, that she found hard to believe but she let it slide for now. “I’m a part of a growing pack nearby.” Who knows perhaps he could be recruited but that would all be up to vengeance.
where? i don’t want to step on any toes. It would not be the worst thing to ever happen to him but he did not fancy the idea of being shredded apart or chased down. Not while he was so alone. The thought threatened to send a shiver down his spine.
He asked where and she felt obligated to tell him but if only she knew. “We haven’t decided on a territory just yet but i can assure you when we do it will be heavily marked.”
very well. It was not a satisfying response to his question that she had offered. It left more questions than answers. Part of a growing pack nearby but they did not even harbor a location? He wanted to scoff but bit his tongue for now. i think i should take my leave. He had grown bored of the interaction and unless she made a move to stop him, he would slip back into the shadows he had come from.
