the morning is surprisingly cool given the heat of mid-summer days that bears down on the teekon wilds like an oppressive wave and panther revels in it, taking advantage of the cool air. he ventures out of swiftcurrent creek's borders in an effort to stretch his legs, drawn by idle curiosity towards the neutral territories that neighbor his new home. with plenty of mercenaries that are vigil on the borders and the quiet, laid-back atmosphere he's thus experienced in the creek pack, panther doesn't think his little daytrip would strike concern or ire.

panther's journey, led by the rising sun whose light cuts across the sky of candyfloss blue, pink and purple, takes him north into the emberwood, drawn instinctually towards the abundance of prey animal scents that criss-cross on the forest floor. he's not hungry per se and thus he makes idle note for potential hunting trips in the future as he moves through the aspen dominated woods, ears and eyes keen for any sounds or movements: prey or fellow predator alike.
