undergrowth snaps beneath her steps, the woman pushing her way through the tangle as she moves parallel to the border, yellow gaze set inwards. her call sounds low over the canopy a moment later, and the beast pushes through to find a clear glade where she may better meet those that dwell here. breath leaves her flared nares in something resembling a sigh, and she stills, waiting.
Ooc: on iPad! Pardon any typos, I will fix them in the morning! <3

The call would be swiftly answered. Thankfully the behemoth was already on patrol and only had to change course mildly to find where the call had rang out from. The first, and last time anyone had called out in these woods, it wasn’t meant for him; though he answered it anyway, with aggression not too surprisingly so. And so he wondered, who may this one be calling for, was it for him this time around, as the lord of these lands?

Emerging from the shadowed woods, cloaked in mist, he made his presence clear. Ruby eyes running over the figure of the woman who called. She was large, intimidating to anyone else perhaps - but to him, he was intrigued. “It isn’t often I’m summoned to the borders.” He admitted nonchalantly, normally he caught individuals too close, this was different. Should she be calling for him after all of course.
the male makes himself known, with words she finds have no place here, no question for her to answer. but she is in no place to judge, and so merely lowers herself before the male, crouching as she shifts her weight. "join you." the words are thick on her tongue, and she doesn't so much speak as crudely shape breath into words. for a long while, she hadn't needed to. she scans him, gaze moving over him, noting his size, scent, power. he is a behemoth of a wolf, but then again, so is she.
Alice had been ghosting the beast again. She was learning fast that every female was throwing themselves at Vengeance, and it put a sour taste in her mouth. She didn't like them, they were drones. Grasping for power or love, maybe it was just his children, who knew. A call echoed through their woods, eerie as everything else.

Last time they had answered a call it was for some other pack that had failed. Perhaps this one was looking for their packmates too, but as she crept closer she noticed how the large woman just lowered herself and asked to join. Had she heard of them? This certainly wasn't the place to frolic and hold hands, but then again this wolf did not look like that was the life she sought.

She wasn't noticed when she first trailed, but she would step forward from the undergrowth. She wanted a better look.
A woman of few words - unlike @Vanity who had much to say; this one was straight to the point, even if she did have hidden motives like the white-faced woman had, at least they were not as obvious. A stark contrast between the two. What do you know about us, why have you sought us out, of all the other packs available. He wasn't complaining, just curious about her answer. Should she be a member, he had to know a little more.

Eventually Alison had made her appearance, apparently, the call had caught her attention too. Though she remained quiet, the future General was certainly proving over and over again how eager and right she was for the position. His eyes rested on the young russet woman for a moment before turning back onto the possible new female to join their ranks.

Though he would admit - there were plenty of females around. It was interesting... though he wouldn't make an effort to do much about it.
more words. the woman makes a low sound in her throat as he finishes speaking, gaze roving slowly to the woman that had joined them, finding her lacking in the brute force the male seemed to possess, and so turned her gaze back to him. joining had been simple, when she'd run with the pack from the Cairn; a brief inspection, a fight, and if the wolf managed to hold off those which greeted them, they would be allowed to run with them. there had been no need for talking. and so she does not reply, offering only a flick of her ears. as if in answer, she motions to him. if she were not impressed with what she saw, she would have left, or attempted to instigate a fight. neither have yet to occur.
Silence followed Vengeance's question. Something that caused Alice to squint with a slight head tilt, clearly she saw his strength, why risk pissing him off now? Then again, maybe she couldn't speak or just did not know enough of their language to properly answer. Her gaze turned to the beast to see what he would do.
The lack of her words was enough for him to understand. She had chosen them, there was no question about it in her body language. Very well. He saw Alison's gaze at the corner of his own, she was uncertain about this woman, but he was quite understanding. Body language, it was what he knew best. Those small indications, the tiniest of muscle movements that could express a desire or feeling - it was far more truthful than words.

Let's see what you can do. With that, he pounced forward. Jaws ajar, snapping as he initiated the fight to test her abilities. She seemed very confident in herself, did this convey in her abilities as well? He went right for the face, using his momentum and power to back it up 0 while he carefully watched her every move...

We can do a table top roll if you wish!!
