@Atwood aaa sorry for the wait + short post, been a bit low on zeph muse 3 pp'ing atwood a bit, lmk if it needs to be changed
He follows the other boy toward the mountains, only slowing to a halt when he sees his companion doing the same. The thundering sound seems to have followed him, yet the frantic herd is nowhere to be seen, so he decides to trust the other boy's judgment. He has already learned that sometimes he can only decipher what is real through cues from those around him, so it doesn't bother him much. He's panting hard as he draws up alongside the stranger, launching into a coughing fit as soon as he comes to a halt. His throat stings with the force of it, already dry and aching slightly, and the feeling brings tears to his eyes. Embarrassment quickly heats his ears, but he can't seem to stop it, no matter how much he wants to.
