His spirits were brighter after meeting Clay, he was happy to have a friend who didn't seem to have any ulterior motives behind his friendship. His happiness had him deciding to be charitable though he kind of just wanted to see how miserable the pit wolves were. He had grabbed a scrap of meat he figured nobody would miss and carried it to the pit where he stared down at the captives. Using his paw he flicked a rock at @Orochi "Hey! Here" he said and tossed the scrap of meat down next to him, eyes gleaming with not so nice intent. It was pleasing to know that he had dragged the nasty boy here with Hela's help, that this was his prisoner and he had shown the boy just how quickly the tables could turn. It also brought him satisfaction to know that it was him and everyone else that the Captives relied on for food.
If it were not for his strong will, Orochi would have died already. Because who wouldn't crumble in a place like this? It was dark, it was dirty, it smelled of pure rot. Ash suffocated him every second of everyday. There was little room to run or do anything really. He could only sit in misery, waiting. This suffering was not in vain though. Soon he would heal and on that day he would burst from this awful hole in flames. He would burn this forest and everyone in it.

Something thumped on his skull. Perhaps it was Revui, he seemed to enjoy chucking things at him. Orochi was much too tired to retaliate. He growled and buried his nose deeper in his belly. But then there was a voice all too familar. It had him up in a flash.

Orochi had no interest in the scraps at his feet (for now at least). All of his attention was on Valour, the boy that put him in this situation. Look at him up there! All high and mighty with a stupid gleam in his eye. He was probably too scared to jump into the hole with the beasts. Coward. He would be the first one to go.

Orochi said nothing for once, but his anger was still displayed by his actions. He lifted a paw and defiantly knocked the food to one side.
Valour had thought that Orochi's first goal would be to come back at him. So when he had brought the food he had really expected it to be eaten. Valour didn't react much except for a quick surprised blink when Orochi tossed the food to the side  "I guess you're mean and dumb" he commented casually and settled onto his belly looking down at him with a satisfied look. "I thought you'd be smarter at getting out and fighting back. If you won't eat it then give it away" he kept his tone light, as if this was little more than a friendly bit of chit chat. He fell silent and stretched out, perfectly content to sit above them and torment Orochi through simply being annoying for a while. He didn't care what the other captives would think of him, he didnt think he would be in any trouble for being a nuisance to his own prisoner. "Did you come for me or has fate just thrown us together again?" he asked, curious as to what had brought his nemesis over the borders of the Nightwalkers.

sorry for the shitty reply
They waste energy to hunt. We eat. We heal. Then, we hunt them. Those were the words that kept him tied down to earth. So simple and blunt and yet so promising. One day Orochi would be back to full health and on that day he would make Valour pay. But that day wasn't today. Patience was what he needed now. That and control. It was hard, but the dragon was able to keep himself under control for now.

I came here to eat, he snapped, I didn't even know you were here. Come to think of it, why was he here? Why wasn't he back at Shadewood. Orochi's blood boiled at the thought. Here he was begging to be back at that familiar forest and Valour was way down here running with a bunch of airheads. It was suiting for him he supposed.
The words only made him more content, as they seemed to lack even the common understanding of borders and rules that Valour knew from a young age, from that one run in with Cry. "So you trespassed to eat?" the words rolled calmly off of his tongue as he regarded Orochi with intentionally lacking interest, beginning to claw at a root stuck in the dirt just to show that he was starting to get bored. "That's kinda dumb, isn't it?" he asked directing his gaze toward Orochi again, expression blatantly judgemental.
No. Perhaps it wasn't the smartest idea in the long run but it was a worthy risk at the time. He was all alone and hungry. He hadn't even had the chance to practice hunting yet. What else was he supposed to do? Desperate times call for desperate measures. Of course Orochi kept the answer plain and simple, he need not explain himself to the whelp.

He took note of how Valoir started to fiddle with the dirt like some unamused prince. His eyes narrowed. Alright. You've bought me my food. Now go. There was no need to continue this conversation since he seemed so disengaged. It wouldn’t wound him. It wasn’t like Orochi wanted to speak with him in the first place.
He scowled at the answer but his brain suggested the tremors and the fact that they were both boys and he shrugged "Maybe not". There was a bit of silence and then there was a command from the captive. The sheer nerve of it almost had him attempting to jump down on top of the boy though he sucked in a breath and drew himself to a seated position "I don't take orders" he said coldly and stubbornly sat there, unblinkingly staring down at Orochi. There would come a time when they would fight, for now he would enjoy the power he held over the boy.
He didn't want to leave? Fine. He could play this game all day. Orochi stood up and limped towards the wall. Liar. He placed a paw on one of the cool steps leading up towards the exit. Soon, he thought, soon.

You can act tough around everyone else but don't try it with me. I know who you are. He looked upwards to meet Valour's cold stare. You're a coward. A stupid, weak, coward. A grin spreads from cheek to cheek. If it weren't for this, he paused to shake his broken foot, I could take you in a fight. And I would win too. Just like I did in Shadewood.
The cool control he tried to maintain cracked, eyes narrowing as he watched Orochi head toward the stairs. He stood up and placed himself at the top, fur bristling as he listened to Orochi mock him, call him a coward and a weakling. Valour's eyes narrowed and he took a moment to compose himself before jumping down into the pit "I'm a coward? Say that again assface" he growled angrily as he jumped down into the pit.
He backed away as the now angry Valour made his way down into the pit. That grin never left his face, in fact it grew wider. It was strange really; usually Orochi was the one to blow up. But now he finally felt like he had some control over himself. It felt good to see the boy so worked up.

Orochi chuckled. He was right. Valour was nothing but a stupid kid. No sane wolf would jump into a lion's den. Sure, both the beasts were injured but there were still two of them. The dragon half hoped @Revui would come to his aid but another part of him wanted to take on his enemy alone.

You. Are. A. Coward. In an attempt to catch him off guard, Orochi spat towards the boy and immediately lunged forward with jaws parted. Forget his healing bones! How could he resist a fight when Valour pratically flung himself into the pit like a scrap of meat?
The words were met with a curl of his lips, a flashing of fangs before Orochi lunged. Valour jumped back and as Orochi missed, lunged and snagged him by the scruff biting hard before shoving him away and preparing for the fight. For a while it just repeated, Orochi would lunge and occasionally strike but Valour would reciprocate just as fast striking harder each time. "I am not a coward. I'd sooner die than back down" he growled as he faced off against the boy, tail curled over his spine as he was determined to throw this little jerk into the dirt and be done with it.
It was a drawn out battle. At first nothing was really happening. When Orochi lunged for a bite a rush of air would fly into his mouth and lungs. The constant misses were infuriating, but at least his opponent couldn't catch him either. And then finally Orochi was able to draw blood. This set off a chain reaction. The boys exchanged punch after punch, with each blow becoming harder. It was taxing on his leg but his pride simply didn't allow him to give in. Orochi lundged for the name of his enemy with the intention to shove him just as he did before.
They traded blows each one of them doing small bits of injury to the other though slowly he got the upper hand. His frustration ebbed for a moment as he figured Orochi was only so weak because of his leg but in that moment Orochi shoved him and sent him flying. He rolled and hit the wall of the pit, grunting and laying for a moment before he sprang up and charged Orochi, leaping into the air and slamming him back. He snarled and gave no mercy, biting and knocking him back until finally the other boy was in the dirt beneath him. He used his fore paws to hold Orochi down, viciously striking a blow to the injured limb "Never call me a coward again, Pit brat" he spat baring his fangs into Orochi's face before hopping off of him and slowly backing toward the stairs so he could climb his way out.
100th post baybe!!!! :D

Valour's body hit the wall with a satisfying thud. A satisfying pride washed over him. Despite his injury he was able to fling the boy across the pit, just as Vengence had done to him. He felt unstoppable.

And in a blink of an eye that victory was ripped away from him. The Nightwalker flew through the air and landed on him. Orochi's body was forced downward and each time he tried to regain his footing he was knocked back down again. The boy overpowered him, pushed him into the dirt and took advantage of his weakness. Orochi kicked and screamed and cursed. If only his foot weren't broken, he could've taken the boy down. But yet again he was at the mercy of his captor. He could do nothing but glare as he walked away from him.
