The north had been a lonely waste before, and it seemed like that was still the case.  But something seemed to draw her to it, because here she was again, only this time approaching from the western reaches.

Kiwi had parted ways with @Yami, leaving her trusted second with directions to seek out wolves who might want to join them.  It had been the same since they started, but the shaking of the earth had made meetings scarce.  Kiwi was getting restless, impatient, and ready for a change.  Teekon might not have the best of quality to its wolves, but it at least had some present.  

The small, rust-hued woman lifted her head haughtily as she surveyed the small forest around her, then looked towards the plains.  She'd avoid the south, keep to the colder reaches, and try to find those who chose to make their living here.  Perhaps a worthy band could be found.

If not, one could always be taken from another.
