@Fang sorry I didn't pm first I'm very busy RL

Ferdie Von Pelt noticed Red be been absent lately, he expected her departure, but he also expected Fang to leave with her, they had made it clear they were bonding and cared little about anything else. So now Ferdie was fully surprised to she Fang but not Red. He knew the tole Heartbreak could bring upon one's soul.

Finally Ferdie could wait no longer with two swans hanging from his mouth he made his way to a quiet place lay them down on the ground and howled a song for Fang alone, once he was finished calling out to fang he sat, he didn't want to impose dominance over a friendly conversation. He did look over the terrain though with an alert expression looking for any signs of his fleet footed friend.

place this moment immediately after This thread, yessum? TL:dr, kip pissed him off, he threatened, she attacked, left back leg wounded. Than told to gtfo.

The adrenaline as wearing off, making the journey down the mountain that much more tedious. Each use of his back leg increased the pain in it. He had no real knowledge of tending wounds beyond the basic, and he wasn't particularly interested in letting it heal before moving off. Despite fact it was a Lambda who ushered him off, it was simply an acknowledgment for his own inevitable choice.

The call rang out, Arguing with the idea of ignoring it he finally gave in to the fact that despite his distaste for the vain alpha, he should at least let him know if he was to just fade out of existence. A long sigh escaped when he began limping toward the summons.

It didn't take him long despite his injury, to locate the alpha, he moved in closer, taking note of recently captured meal spread before the groomed behemoth. Doing his best to cover his injury, he lumbered toward Ferdie, his head, and tail low. The half-breed was pretty well resigned to the fact this would be his last encounter with the spire, and he had no energy or even the willpower to take on his normal, brazen attitude. When he was a few yards away, his regarded the alpha with a rather neutral expression, not saying anything but his eyes would have simply asked "What?

Ferdie Von Pelt's brows furrowed he caught that limp it was like Jace's he frowned again, What happened to the Hybird who gave him a run for his money not to long ago, the brave male who defended his boarders and the pack with ferocity. Ferdie didn't want to lose Fang, but yet he had no clue what he had done so wrong to Fang. Ferdie nudged a swan toward him Eat please Ferdie spoke with real concern in his voice.

Ferdie began to pluck feathers from the swan left in front of him but stopped and looked at Fang, a deep sadness in his eyes might tell the small wolven creature that he already knew but that he still did want to hear it.

Fang, Is there anything I can do? Ferdie left the question vague hoping to draw conversation from him.

The offered meal was one of the last things on the half-breeds mind at the moment, in fact the thought of eating caused his stomach to feel like it was doing a somersault inside. His golden eyes looked at his alpha, remaining silent he tried to discern something from his words, his attitude. He was entangled in his own self-loathing, he didn't want or need charity. Biting back an irritated growl he lowered himself in front of the water-fowl. Carefully avoiding putting weight on his injured extremity.

No, food was definitely not what he wanted, still he honoured the vain males ego, beginning to strip the feathers from the deceased animal, though not offering any real effort. When his words reached Fang's ears his ears laid back, busying himself with the task in front of him he did his best to hide the irritate expression. You can fuck off was a barely held statement on his mind.

a few moments passed, enough time for him to force a neutral expression on his face when he lifted his muzzle to look at the alpha. You complained about me stealing your packs resources. He spoke flatly, referring to the altercation they had on the way back from swiftcurrent. It's not a concern. He nodded softly, returning to stripping feathers from the creature, waiting to see if The alpha could decipher his words.

Ferdie regarded Fang carefully, going over the entire conversation in his mind the closest thing he could remember saying was “Why should I keep an ally that stole from me? That continues to steal from and use me and that will likely set up a pack somewhere so close that they may visit War upon me and or itself.”

I never said that Fang... Ferdie paused trying to think about his meaning and relay it differently I said that an enemy that disguised itself as an ally wasn’t going to fool me,

An enemy takes our pack members before we are strong enough to spilt and leaves the rest of us with less protection, less hunters and less food.
And most definitely, less companionship Ferdie thought to himself, He did enjoy having the little hybrid around.

Since you were talking about Red and you leaving; I gave Red and You, A way to stay and yet still get want you wanted in the end. Which was a pack of your own. I told you by waiting until our pack was ready to split meant the split off pack did not steal from our pack but received blessings and ally status instead. Being patient and looking toward a future that was good for both Packs. Had I thought you took that the wrong way I would have tracked you down sooner to explain myself better.

Ferdie looked at Fang sadly, so much time had passed was Fang going to be able to let his pent up animosity go, It was rather One sided, Ferdie held no anger for it, else he would have driven the both of them out. But that was not his way. He was kind at heart, dumb at times, but kind. May I ask you again to stay? you have made yourself invaluable here. Ferdie caught his breath without realizing it waiting for Fang’s answer

The hybrid listened to Ferdie speak, he didn't relish the idea of leaving in a hurry despite the desire to do so. No, for now he'd let the male say his piece. The time spent busying himself removing feathers though no real effort was made to devour the food. With the explanation of his true meaning in their previous altercation he tried not to roll his eyes. No, he knew what the vain male had meant and he had no need to reevaluate the situation now.

Asking to stay again, Had the halfbreed not been exhausted, sore, and profoundly miserable he'd have smirked at the situation. The alpha, leader, protecter was here begging him to stay. When he'd finished Fang continued to pay meticulous attention to the bird. His thoughts were slow, words falling into deliberate place whilst he tried to frame his answer. You can ask all you want True story, it probably wouldn't make him stay any longer but he could ask over and over. The small streak of vanity that coursed through him enjoyed the fact he felt needed.

Of course he was invaluable, he made the effort to be just that. His flighty nature, the wanderlust, the changing loyalties was just his nature he couldn't help it any more than Ferdie could help grooming himself. I may go, I may not. It's not a certainty. He lied, lifting his muzzle, his expression neutral all the while. Of course, our new friend Kipling might disapprove if I stay. He added flatly. And just like that she was about to be thrown under the bus.

Ferdie Von Pelt shook his head and pressed his lips together, the water fowl completely forgotten for the moment. He watched Fang carefully gauging his reactions Do not lie to me Fang. At least afford me that much respect

A rumble deep in his throat, the bus that was Ferdie, was not about to tolerate any wolf injuring another pack member they needed them all in good shape. They all needed to help out the pups due any day almost any minute now. Kipling did that? she hurt you enough to cause that limp? That goes beyond establishing her place in the pack Ferdie stood his hackles raised he glanced around as if Kipling would materialize out of nowhere. Yes he had asked her to give Fang a run for his rank but this injury was not something he would tolerate.

Ferdie turned his gaze back to Fang waiting for Fang's answer before he'd call Kipling here. He wasn't going to jump to conclusions more then he already had.

The accusation of lying caused the hackles to lift along the halfbreeds spine. Of course he was withholding the truth, but the fact the alpha jumped to the conclusion his words were a lie was enough to add to the already agitated state he was in. Golden eyes narrowed at the mention of rank. What that could have to do with an altercation he had no idea.

He had no real interest in causing further friction between himself and Kipling, or between her and Ferdie for that matter, but it seems an appropriate distraction to stop the pleads for him to stay. Rank had nothing to do with it. We had a disagreement. Of course it was just a small incident, Fang having shown more restraint than the lambda, leaving her with barely a scrape compared to his rather seriously wounded leg. It doesn't matter, suffice to say she won't be impressed if I stay, I'm sure. He finished in an offhand manner, once more.

sorry I hit a road block and then went camping and I had a ton of posts to get to and really I have a million excuses but your post should not be on the back burner like this I promise it won't happen again. I can't let myself get this far behind.

Ferdie Von pelt turned his angry glare a Fang, even though it was not fang his was mad at. I don't care you don't ... No one injures another pack member for any reason! she want's to attack you she may as well attack me! Ferdie snarled and looked away, It was his choice to allow Fang into the pack and his choice to allow any of them to stay her opinion doesn't matter on this subject, I've have you stay just to piss her off.

Ferdie rumbled deep in his chest and ended it with an exasperated huff. He didn't need to get this worked up he could deal with Kipling later. Everything boils down to your place in life and what you accept and what you don't. It may not have been specifically about Rank in the end though what does the fight matter but for the outcome.

Ferdie sat down smoothing his skin and pelt out aware that raised hackles might expose the scar on his shoulder
All I can say Fang is that you are wanted here and you are needed here, I find you annoying and yet enjoyable. You inspire our pack to get off their asses and get themselves active. Ferdie offered Fang the honest truth which is more then what he could say for Fang in respect to himself. The little hybrid offered him half truth's and skirting of issues, here he was hoping to inspire Fang to stay but again he was failing.

Somehow try as he might this Alpha inspired very little loyalty or respect out of his pack mates he wasn't sure what he was doing wrong but he was very good at handling things... wrong.

Fang continued to listen to the Alpha, there was very little he was saying at the moment that changed his already formed opinions. Things were simple for the hybrid right now, and it was playing out rather simply before him. He found himself struggling to come up with a reasonable explanation, or even an excuse. I stand he found himself looking at a half-plucked waterfowl listening to the chatter of being needed. The irritating pain that was evident in his leg, among other problems.

The hybrid let out a sigh, pushing himself up to a standing position he simply frowned at the Alpha. Leave that with me, I'll get back to you. He would require time to think on the pleas thus far, and with that he did his best, awkwardly taking a few steps away from the offered meal and the vain alpha to decide what it was he wanted to do.

Ferdie watched Fang move off and not eat. He wasn't about to jump up grab the food and shove it down Fang's throat. Ferdie Frowned and looked away from Fang If you see Kipling tell her she is to find me

Ferdie lay his head on the ground also leaving his meal uneaten and closed his eyes. He was not tired but he was mentally exhausted. And all he could do now was hope this wasn't the last time he saw Fang
