It had been months since Howl had stepped foot into Teekon Wilds. After his leave of absence from Easthollow, he had headed East out of the Wilds. In the process, he had stayed a lone wolf meeting others here and there but for the first time in a long time thinking of himself. There were plenty of things that had been keeping him from who he was and who he was meant to be. Most of it being guilt and grief from past relationships both intimate and professional.

But he was no longer a young man, but a more matured one now, though he would likely retain his youthful character till the moment he died. There was now less anguish in his heart and sought to remember the good that had happened in his like and relish in it. As he thought of this he could think of no better place than the place he had meet his beloved. He made his way past Easthollow on his way to Duck Lake, revisiting there and seeing who remained could be another trip, right now he missed... her.

It was winter now, a far cry from those sunny July days. There was snow on the ground, the lake covered with ice, and no ducks were calling. But despite this, as he walked towards the water he could see her, right where they used to sit. Her beautiful white coat and innocent smile looking towards him masking her maturing age.

He slowly walked over towards her memory before sitting down and placing one paw on the ice. As he looked over the lake towards the early morning sun peeking through the clouds he closed his eyes, he took a deep breath before sighing and mumbled to himself "Hello Dear."
-7C°, currently it is partly cloudy and set during the early morning. Located in rising sun valley, duck lake | ooc notes: sorry i jumped in later than i thought i would!

This would be her first time stepping out since meeting that black man from before. She was careful to keep her eyes out, watchful for that dark figure to come slithering out of the brush and begin a whole new horror show. Despite every inch of her telling the young woman to stay behind Uaine's borders, she had to adventure out and familiarize herself with the surroundings and their possible herbs. She was of no good just using what their forest had.

She wouldn't go far, she was certain. To the lake and back to scout out their lands and where some herbs might grow, knowing the terrain was half the battle to prepare for a new season to bring in a whole new batch of remedies.

But there, by the water, someone stood. Her heart skipped and caught in her throat. Fear. Was that him? Was that the man in black? No.. he was mildly lighter in colour but similar from behind. Perhaps if she left him alone, she could scout out the lake and see if it had the potential for any herbs or other types of remedies... Silently she walked around, softly skulking about all the while keeping a wary eye on the man who seemed to be invested in the ice.
Usually a more alert man perhaps he would have seen the young female slink around behind him, but in this place, in his current state of mind... and with his eyes closes, she had gone unnoticed. His mind was searching back to that day and what had transpired. It was almost as though he could hear her speaking beside him. Do you mind staying here just for a bit? A visible smile came across his face before speaking aloud to himself "Here with you, there is nothing I would rather do."

As he played the conversation back in his head he couldn't help but laugh at himself for how flirty he had been. This probably isn't the best time... "It really wasn't... but I wasn't wrong. You looked so gorgeous."
