@jace Gonna start this just after the thread with Ferdie here Leaving it a little vague for obvious reasons. Sorry its a little all over the shop xD

Despite the recent pleas of his alpha, Fang found himself wishing to leave sooner rather than later, having convinced himself the only reason he was still there for now was the difficulty in immediately leaving, courtesy of the wound the Lambda had left him with. He made his way through the spires land towards a familiar water source, a slow running creek that was fed from some source of melting ice higher in the mountain. Of course his slow movement landed him at the creek-bed in the late afternoon, the halfbreed, having taken a drink from the cool stream, lowered himself awkwardly to the damp earth, a loud sigh escaping.

His thought returned to the main instigators of his feelings of discomfort, the small female who had managed to touch his heart in quick order, and disappeared without a word even quicker, the smart-mouthed Lambda that had done the damage to his leg. And of course, the vain alpha that had proved to be more of an irritation in his mixed signals, than any real problem in the half-breeds life. The exasperated sigh that escaped earlier was replaced with an irritated low growl. Any other time he'd have just walked out of the pack-lands and kept himself going, and going. That wasn't even an option at the moment. In a rather resigned moment he dropped himself to his side, simply laying on the ground.

Jace could walk a little further now without wanting to lay down, it still hurt if he did it too long, and he still couldn't run or hunt. However, he was getting better and his limp was going away, it made him feel a little better. He tilted his head as he ambled slowly along, towards the creek that ran the length of their home. He approached slowly seeing a wolf laying there, the way they were laying he could not see markings or face, so he just ambled on his hackles raised slightly.

He made it and gave a smile to the hybrid who had respect issues, but amused him to no end. Why so glum chum? he did not yet know of the conversation between the hybrid and his leader or the male and Kipling though he did see the leg. What the hell happened to you? And who did this? He stared at the leg, He looked around for it and then asked Have you asked my sister Vienna? Or the youth Nightingale to look at that? they are both healers. I imagine my sister knows a little more as she has been doing it a little longer, having learned healing as soon as she was old enough too. He smiled as he spoke of his sister softly.

So entranced in his own self-depreciating thoughts, he was completely unaware of the beta's approach until he spoke. Without lifting his head, his free ear flicked towards the voice. Instantly recognizing the familiar voice, the question would've been enough to make him flinch. He was loathe to spill his woes and problems on others, though carrying himself like a depressed incarnate was bound to raise questions. Thankfully the dark male asked a variety of other questions before he had an answer framed. Bit of a run-in with someone who disagreed with my personality. It wasn't exactly a lie.

He shuffled about managing to lift his front half up, he turned to face the male whilst trying to keep the wounded leg from doing much work. The almost ever-present expression of amusement was gone, left in its wake a mixture of boredom and irritation It's not as bad as it looks, and I haven't really had the chance to get it attended to. He looked over the beta trying to decide whether to answer his first question. This was possibly one of the few he knew that could at the very least empathize with his turmoil. Shaking his head he rolled his shoulders in a shrug. His pride once more stopping him from speaking.

Jace chuckled darkly I have had a few of those, guys like you and I are just so charming most can't take it. Just jealous He snorted to himself in his sarcasm. It was true though he had many run in's with those who did not like how he was, what he did or why he did it. Ferdie was one of the few that could get along with him and handled his issues fairly well.

Jace shook his head and sat down staring at Fang you know that pride is going to kick your ass one day. he didn't know exactly why the male was irritated, but he could tell he was and though he didn't know if it was pride or vanity or what have you, he did know the male had a healthy dose of too much pride and he needed to work on that, one of the reasons he couldn't get along with others. Much like Jace he did not play well with others.

A single bark of a laugh escaped at his words, quite possibly one of the most truthful statements he'd heard recently. He was a well versed in the fact that his personality grated on others, it just usually didn't end up in blood-shed. Or even hostilities. Pride? The beta was once again accurate, Fang just didn't like being told things he was not only aware of, but trying to ignore.

I Suppose it's only fair, I listened to your bleeding heart story. A huff escaped, as far as he was concerned his feelings were just his own stupidity biting him in the ass, divulging them was not an easy thing to do. A grimace spread over his features before he finally spoke. Red, she's just. Gone. He said it in a rather dismissive fashion, Similar to stating that Ferdie was over there, and Amekaze was up there. He gave another quick glance over the beta before looking away. Feelings, sharing them, this wasn't his thing.

One side of the males face lifted up in a crooked smile, that made his eyes flash. Unlike the wolf before him, his personality when grated usually ended in bloodshed. He wore the scars to prove it, though granted most of his were from protecting others. yes pride some of us like you and me and Ferdie have a larger dose than most though.

Jace raised a brow, but chose to ignore that comment. He supposed in a way it was a bleeding heart story, but in his defense the guy had asked. Jace stared at him Red gone....that sucks I'm sorry fang, I could go look for her if you like, but I can't make her come back if she doesn't want too. And it was the truth. He could do nothing, he hadn't realized even that the two were and item to be completely honest, but he wasn't very observant when it came to that kind of stuff anyway.

Yepp, it sure did suck, it sucked more than the brazen male would openly lead on. Though all his recent altercations had been subject to the negative disposition he carried by that fact. He dropped himself back to laying on his side, rubbing his cheek against the damp earth once again when Jace offered to seek her out. Was there any point? She'd left without a word, he expected to be the first to know if she was going anywhere. A small laugh escaped when he replied. Don't worry about it, if she didn't tell me. .. he trailed off.

Of course the fact she was gone was only a part of his annoyance, the rest were summed up in the resulting chaos he caused there-after. No, There's no point trying to look. I'm not planning to stay around long enough for her to come back anyway.he spoke flatly again, not hiding the minor self-delusion that he was the only reason she'd return. It was a strange thing, He told Ferdie that there was every chance he was staying, but here he was telling Jace he intended to leave. It didn't matter to him anyway, had it not been for the encumbering injury to his leg he would have been gone already.

Jace looked at him and spoke softly i can't even begin to give you any advice as my love life is so fucked up it's screws me every time i turn around, but I do know that women they are just...oh hell their just fucking complicated! Say one thing mean another...you know so maybe she had a legitimate reason for not telling you. Maybe she thought it would hurt worse if she told you. Or maybe she had to go and she knew if she did tell you, then she would stay...you know...it could be anything it's like i told you fecking confusing. he had purposely omitted the actual words, realizing as time progressed he was carrying quite a penchant for swearing and both his mother and father would kick his arse if they knew it.

Jace stared at him for a moment weighing his thoughts. Well I would hate to see you go Fang, you're an amazing asset to the pack. Granted yes you have some extra pride and your a little bit of a temper case, but i'm worse. However, I can't stop you if you really want to go, but I can tell you i'd hate to see you go.

A genuine laugh of amusement escaped at his rhetoric, it summed up females all too well. Of course the halfbreed had a litany of choice words he could throw in to that mix. Still it was a frustrating predicament to be in. Caught between despair and damnable pride, he was stuck in a circle that involved mostly self-loathing at letting himself get caught up in the situation anyway.

Once again the small male found himself enjoying the praise that was forthcoming, of course had this been any other situation he'd likely have strutted off with an "of course i'm valuable" instead he just inwardly smiled. The fact that it would impact them made leaving more entertaining. That manipulative streak prevailing once again. Without lifting himself he spoke, his voice carrying a hint of his usual playful tone. So i've been told. He let out another slow breath before continuing the playful tones disappearing as quickly as they came. But being an asset at a place that just makes me feel pain? Call me a coward, but I don't think I can stay The words escaped with little control, it being the closest thing the hybrid has said to a meaningful conversation about his current situation.

sorry had to get my son off the van and my other two sons dressed and ready for the day :)

Jace gave him another crooked smile and then waited and listened. Jace studied the male in front of him and said quietly Well though I can respect that I do have to say that it is pain that allows us to grow. And though it hurts like hell, it makes room for no so stupid choices next time or what have you.

Jace contemplated his next words and said quietly you are an asset surely Fang, but do not let that go to your head there are many more also that are assets as well. And though you are irreplaceable as a wolf, personality and mind wise, your slot can be filled. I would not want you to be upset and unhappy if you were here, but as I said I would hate to see you go too
All good, I fell asleep x3 feel free to fade here if you want :3

The beta's choice of words were spoken in truth, again reminding the hybrid of things he knew but did his best to deny. He contemplated the option of furthering the conversation with Jace, the beta seemed to have an intriguing take on the world but his vanity got the better of him before long.

Shuffling about he managed to lift himself up eventually with no small amount of effort, as little weight put on his injured leg as possible he turned to face the dark male. The half-Smile present on his face once again. No hard feelings then, right? And with those words he began the slow trek parallel to the creek. He wasn't entirely certain where he was going at the moments. But he was on his way.
