The dark pelted female that had come to their boarders was very pregnant. Shortly after a conversation with Jace, Ferdie and he had decided the pack was strong enough currently to support Erika and her pups. Ferdie guided her carefully to the Willow Tree at the oasis and had her lay there while he hunted and returned fairly quickly with two fat duck. Silently Ferdie plucked every feather from the ducks and gave them to Erika to eat.

Ferdie Von Pelt stood above her and set his leathery nose on the very top of the scared females head for a brief moment. With a sigh the ruffled her pelt he lifted his head and howled he called the pack to her, he wanted them to know her before she gave birth.

The whelping den was nearly complete and not very far away. Ferdie would not allow any other wolf besides himself or Erika after it was dug, until the pups were of age. Once it was ready she could retired to it, for now he nodded his greetings to his pack. Standing guard beside Erika he was afraid if anyone touched her she would pop like a balloon. thought that was far from the case and if her greeted her he wouldn't stop them from touching her he would just be standing at Erika's side like an alpha statue.

Summer stepped back from the whelping den, panting heavily. He knew that Jace and Ferdie had plans to return later to finish the work, but something about having this task to do made him feel calm. More calm than he had felt in a long time. The boy had no desire to go back to the den he'd been staying in. Returning home meant returning to a nervous, miserable, heartbroken side of himself that he was quite ready to say good bye to. Obviously, he couldn't count on building this den forever. Sooner or later this new female Ferdie had told him about was going to need it for its intended purpose, but that simply meant he'd have to find some new sort of work to throw himself into.

The call was not entirely unexpected. Summer knew that Ferdie couldn't keep this new acquaintance of his away from the pack forever, as much as he suspected the man wanted to. Abandoning his work, he set off at a quick lope to answer the summons, pondering what sort of relationship there might be brewing between his alpha and this mystery woman.

The Ostrega approached slowly, feeling awkward as he realized that he was the first one there. Suddenly it occurred to him that he was covered in dirt and other debris from the whelping den, which made him feel more uncomfortable than ever, especially in front of his alpha and his woman-friend. Summer shook himself, freeing as much soil from his coat as he could in one movement. Then, he walked to his alpha to show the proper respectful greeting that he knew was expected of him. Once the ritual was complete, he gave the pregnant female a nod and a nervous smile and walked a few feet away to plant himself onto his haunches and wait for the rest of the pack.

She arrived on the scene quietly and with questions unspoken in her eyes as soon as her understanding took shape. An evidently unexpected turn of events brought a gravid female to their midst and Ame was.. uncertain. Both of the female, the circumstances behind it, and why she was here at all. She stared, as if it may help her make heads or tails of this.

What she wondered most of was Ferdie's plans in this. She did not think they were biologically his whelps, as if that helped anything, but what she sought to understand was the future to come of this. This was a burden upon the pack, one not warranted by anyone here. It would not be easy for her to muster up the altruism for a complete stranger who would demand so much of them considering the situation... She would listen to hear more.

Ame's ears were angled back and she took a spot near Summer, the other wolf here. Her greetings were reserved in the company of the scar-faced stranger, and with that, she waited.

Jace limped into view a funny twisted sort of feeling in the pit of his stomach. He didn't know how to go about this whole situation. They had given her a homebeacuse she had none, but he did not like keeping the children's true identities quiet, that bothered him to no end. The father should have a chance to be afather if he ever came back. He shook his black head and giving Ferdie the proper show of submission and hello, he tilted his head and nudged Ame gently in the shoulder and brushed his head across the young Summer's head and between his ears to say hello, brushing dirt off of him as he went. He chuckled You are doing well Summer I am proud of you. then he sat down and waited for what was to come.

The new Sunspire wolf could sense that she was a few days away from birth, if not a day away. She was lucky that she had made it to their borders before her contractions started, or else she would have to fend for herself and her pups. The Frenchwoman dreaded that. She wasn't much of a hunter, and could barely feed herself, let alone pups! Erika gladly followed Ferdie, her new alpha, her fourth in Teekon Wilds, to the Willow Tree, where she would den with her pups

The Sunspire alpha plucked the feathers from two ducks and nudged them towards her to eat. "Merci." She murmured before tearing into one of them. The alpha laid his head on top of hers for a moment before turning away to howl for the pack. Erika stifled the memory of Majesty doing the same to her while they were courting. There was time to mourn for him later. She needed to eat and build up her strength for the coming days.

The pack soon responded to his call. So far three came. The first was a young wolf, at less than a year or so. He had a dark coat, patched by browns and charcoal every once and a while. He bowed to Ferdie before giving a nod to Erika. The mutliated female nodded back, and went back to eating. The next had a far more skeptical look on her face than the first. She too had a dark, black coat, like Erika had, but her eyes were different, green instead of her yellow. This female sat down by the young male and waited with them all. The last was the Beta whom she had already met. All-in-all the Fantome felt like it would be Wheeling Gull Isle all over again. It was possible none of the wolves would trust her at all, but who knows? These wolves could be different.

Aleera perked her auds forward hearing the howl from the Alpha, tilting her head curiously to the side, she began her trek toward him. He soft pad falls making her arrival almost inaudible, although she was sure to make her presence known with a soft chuff toward the wolves that were present. Breaking through the tree's surrounding the den, Aleera approached the Alpha greeting him with the proper respect, although she was quickly distracted by the very pregnant female. Taking in her scent with a sniff or two as she approached, although not close enough to be a threat in any manner. Realizing she could not recognize the scent from the places she had traveled within the territory, her curiosity increased ten fold. "Hello." She stated, "I am called Aleera." Introducing herself curtly, with the respect she would lend to any pack-member, clearly the Alpha had accepted her enough to offer her his protection, meaning that she too would accept her. Silently using only her body language, she offered her assistance with anything that either the Alpha or the mother to be may need.

Kipling had been pulled in by the call, swift in arrival but stiff-legged in her approach. When the summons came from Ferdie and she entered the scene the she-wolf had postured herself appropriately, ears bent and tail limp but her clear eyes were round and she scrutinized the strange scent she encountered and the female it belong to. It was not at first because the female smelled so new, freshly coaxed in the scent of their leader, but it was what her eyes proved as she at first gazed blankly at the round belly when new light came to her eyes in realization.

What? The word dropped from between her lips, so taken back she simply halted where she was and tilted her head, greeting no one. Had she missed something? Then it occurred to her that's exactly what had happened, and why Ferdie had sought to draw them together. And then her gaze turned expectantly to him, then Jace, and the pregnant female looking to see who would be first to speak and explain what had happened and where they would go from here. Depending on what she assumed she heard this was huge development among them, not one that would taken easily as the Summer was dying fast around them.

Vienna was one of the last to the meet, her penchant for wandering meaning that she had been pretty far, almost out of earshot from even Ferdie's powerful voice. As it was, she remained towards the back. When she caught sight of Erica and her obvious condition, Vienna's eyes lit up. Was she a new member!? Were they to have pups on the spire soon? How exciting!!!!!

Surprisingly, not everyone there seemed as thrilled as she was at this prospect. Most just seemed confused. Personally it mattered little to Vienna how Erika came to be there. All she saw was a new friend and even more small, playful friends in the near future.

sorry everyone! For some reason I didn't catch this was a meeting lol
