She hadn't told anyone about when she had seen Aeryn. The young wolf didn't even think that it mattered anyway he didn't remember anyone nor did he even want to try. Her aunt moved them from Easthollow and Minnow didn't know quite yet how she felt about that so she stuck to herself for the time being.
among all of them, minnow had been reclusive; and so the huntress sought her ought that day. her scent was easy enough to find, and tracking it took only half of an hour, at most. when she spots the familiar, lithe frame of her niece, she issues a low call in greeting, making to fall into step beside the girl. "minnow," she greets when she reaches the girl's side, pressing her muzzle to the girl's shoulder in casual greeting. 

"how are you settling in here?" she probes, hoping to gain insight into the girl's thoughts. she hadn't had much of a choice in coming, admittedly, but then neither had dawn as a child; she'd only followed her family. but she was found of adventure and exploration, and so perhaps it made the whole ordeal a little easier. minnow did not immediately strike her as the same, and so the huntress could only seek the ease the transition. they speak quietly a little while, before the girl drifts away and leaves the huntress to embark on another patrol.
