looking for a @Kun set for yesterday

Huā had returned from the inland. She had met a couple of women, but nothing could keep her from the draw of the beach, nor from her home. She'd returned to Rusalka.

Recalling her sister's message, song that cut through crisp air the other day, notifying her of the presence of a cousin- could it be true? Once she finds a clearing that's open to the sky, she throws back her head and calls for him. If he was really here, she ought to see him immediately! How she had missed them!
his acceptance out of the way, kun heads into rusalka's claim with invitation. the events of the day have begun to weigh him; travel weary, hunting and acting thru his sensu ...an act he reminds himself that he cannot allow to slip. this is the role he and ying have created for him and he must commit to it. a fact that was just fine to him. the wolves of rusalka thinking he couldn't speak common might mean they would leave him to his own devices. with a language barrier firmly in place he could be the snob he was to strangers and pass it off as ignorance.

still, his eyelids feel heavy and he searches for a place to curl up and nap; rooting thru bracken and fallen limbs that might make a temporary shelter. he thinks he finds one, aquamarine gaze locking upon it only for his steps to falter as the call rises for him. for a moment, his shoulders slump but he picks himself back up, stretches, and trots towards the origin of the howl.

approach slows as he nears her, recognizing scent and then face. huā zhen! he calls to his cousin, relieved that it is she that has called for him.
Soon enough the boy is there, the cause of a big grin on her face. He calls her name and she races over, slowly to a halt and bumping shoulders with him. She found the affectionate kisses she gave her female cousins upon reunions did not feel suitable for Kun.

困困! 我想要你了! She laughs as she gives him a look over, making sure he seemed healthy. Huā was satisfied- he didn't appear to be injured or starving. 映跟我说你在这里了. She tells him. 你好吗了? She wonders, less worried for him than she was for the gentler cousins. She knew this boy could take care of himself.
