Backdated to January 28th. Day three of heat—Kaori is not receptive.
The troubles of the former days washed away just as easily as the mess made, allowing her to enter the current with an eased mind. By now she knew what was happening and understood that it would not end—not soon, anyway. In time, it would come to an end just the same as the previous season, she only needed to get through it; part of her wished her mother to be there, to assist her during these times, but she knew to ask such a thing was asking too much. Surely, her mother was busy tending to the changes of her own body, or perhaps assisting her cousins through their firsts.
Tending to matters on her own, Kaori did the same as the year prior: she sought a location that she fancied, maneuvering through the forest.
