Except, not really joining. Oocly ofc I know the pack is full but I wanted to do this purely for IC reference for Kyr. Hopefully just a quick and easy thread, Alphas or Betas to let her know there isnt room. @Katya Noir can pop in as well if she wants and has time.

Moonspear was a mountain sure worthy of claim. Not just some dead land of sheer drops, jagged rock and freezing condition. All around the foothills lay thick forestry from which she stood near, looking in from the open grasslands at her backside. Beyond, the mountains loomed, still green in places atop with easy sloping pathways. She would not go within the forestry, taking much note of the strong scent on the border screaming "Trespassers Beware!" And she would heed the command. Though Vallkyrie scent a call out into the open afternoon skies, hoping for the attention of the leaders, its guards or scouts. She hoped perhaps she could find answers, perhaps even call this place home, should they will it and should Katya's place still be here. Maybe, too, she would be greeted by the coffee woman.
The matriarch swept down from the higher altitude swiftly, and along the way she heard a call; Hydra paused in her descent and called back, I am coming. Another could likely beat her there were they near enough, but Hydra lengthened her stride to arrive before Vallkyrie all the sooner. The Queen moved with a grace that could be attributed to someone born of the mountain they roamed; her blue eyes landed upon the figure of the wolf that waited at the borders, long-legged and delicate even from a distance. Black and white comprised her, ravenblack and winterwhite—and her eyes contrasted starkly with her nightfurs as surely as Hydra's own did.

The Ostrega arrived before Vallkyrie, tail lifted in no idle fashion over her hindquarters so there was no mystery of her own place here. A cursory sniff revealed to Hydra that the she-wolf ran with none, but Hydra was never one to assume the reason for a wolf at her borders unless they crossed them, and would not start doing so today. I am Hydra, Queen of Moonspear, she greeted, why is it you have called? she inquired, to the point; her ears pricked forward, the only true telltale sign of her interest given her otherwise stony demeanor.
A call sounded, allowing to let her know that someone was on their way. Vallkyrie settled down onto her haunches as opposed to standing guard, if only to show she meant no threat and came with ease of heart. The woman which greeted her was stark black without blemish or pattern to be seen. Though Vallkyrie had the woman on height, the competition ended there. The other female screamed of confidence beyond Kyr's own and a power and dignity that could have only been heightened at the borders of her own home. She was dark at the Archers Vallkyrie grew up with and held that same dominant air about her, blue eyes like the deep sea but bright like when the moon shown upon it.

When she grew closer, Vallkyrie once more took to her footing, head lowering to level with her spine and her tail remained low and rested, very much opposite so of this woman. She introduced herself as Queen and of that there was little doubt. She reminded her much of her family in the Empire far from here. I am Vallkyrie Archer, Queen. She spoke, the words falling off her tongues smoothly, speaking in a proper manner which she had not done in some time and yet, would never falter from it. I come as only a loner, to seek shelter here amongst your Pack if you'd see me fitting and if you had the space. With winter, the famine only having recently past and children due in spring, it would be left in the air if Hydra would have her. It was late winter after all and surely many other loners had already beat her to the punch.
cameo! no need to wait for me unless directly talked to!!

Desdemona could smell other on the spear, not of the usual kind. Even more-so confirmed when the hollar came to be, and she came with haste to see what approached. Stoic, calm, as she approached with more ease down the mountain as the spider gained more knowledge of mapping Moonspear within one's mind. She started to know the place casually, and could climb without an effort. However effort was used to become this way, and she felt proud while making her way down.

Though the Queen was quick to act, and came down to the other who spoke of joining. She dipped her head in greeting and respect for the Alpha but remained silent to the two, watching with judgemental jades. The Queen's guard came down upon, as a backup to their claim.
The others presentation did not go unnoticed; it was appreciated, and Hydra was more than pleased with her display. The woman was articulate as well, and Hydra wondered what else the she-wolf might have to offer to the Spear. All that aside though, Hydra could offer the woman nothing in turn then and there. With the lash of her tail, Hydra drawled: I would see if you were fitting, were it not for the latter point—we do not have the space, she informed coolly. She was disappointed in that much simply for what might have been otherwise, though Hydra hoped to see the she-wolf again under better circumstances.

Desdemona lingered in the backdrop, and one ear backturned to regard her presence there. Hydra did not think Vallkyrie would take it as a personal offense given it had little to do with her. The Ostrega did not doubt that the capable looking woman would have been an asset to them; perhaps once there was room, if Vallkyrie still searched she would have better news for her then.
Final for Kyr.

Another arrived soon, a silent onlooker to make sure things went well with her Queen and the stranger at their doorstep. A silent guardian or a scout, maybe. Vallkyrie passed her a fleeting glance though otherwise kept her attention to the dark Moonspear Queen.

A nodding of her muzzle was given to the Moonspear lady then, her shoulders rolling back in a shrug of dismay. It is what it is. She would have to let Katya in on this as well. I see... Well I cant predict what will happen in the future, but if it comes to needing a place to call home later again, I will seek this place out. After such, she would await the final words of Hydra before taking her dismissal. Vallkyrie had a backup plan and as it were, she wouldn't be too far from both her friend here on the Spear nor the coast which she enjoyed.
Hydra nodded mutely in rejoinder; she was not enthused to lose a capable she-wolf, but the matriarch was nothing if not a tactical woman. It simply was not feasible; there were enough mouths to feed, and with the famine Hydra was less inclined to open her arms to just anyone. Already within their ranks were many worthy wolves who could feed the young that would surely come. Hydra considered them. Still, though, perhaps at another point things would be different. May we meet again, Hydra drawled with a slow wave of her tail. And ideally under better circumstances, though that went without saying.

At the very least the other could know without doubt it truly had nothing to do with her. Whether they thought as much or not did not make a true difference to the matriarch, though there was something about the woman before her that intrigued the Ostrega enough to not mind the thought of seeing her again. Hydra would linger only long enough to watch the other depart, and once she was no longer visible the matriarch turned to Desdemona with an inviting chuff—Hydra intended to continue to patrol, and if Desdemona wished she could join her. With that, she was on her way.
