the night had set, and so the siren slunk from her cavern and emerged to the dark sky. underneath a rock became her den for the isle, enough to where she can stay away from the storms that cursed the lands, and satisfy any trinkets ruo would find; if the time ever came. she was never one for items, as the items she sought for where high in the sky.

the rock she chose was a ledge, to where one can sleep under, and lay above. her body spread on the cold stone, and blues looked upwards. she could not see leo, the constellation of the unknown man (@Aiolos), but the minor can be, the tiny cub away from it's parent.

there was many she knew, and many she did not. stories that were acquired, and one's she did not know of. the story of cancer? the story of gemini? what of aries, pisces,, or even taurus. she knew them as 'zodiac,' with leo following behind, but not of their origins.

ruo knew of pegasus, that can be seen brightly within the sky. the fictioned flying horse who rode to the heavens, and placed himself into the stars. an arrogant one, who wished his beauty to be eternally above.

there was so many she can recount, so many stories to remember, and their locations. the ever moving sky, a beautiful scene.. the siren was at peace.
The evening after meeting Orochi, she returned to the isle with swiftness. The sky sparkled above, casting the reflections into the seaglass of her own eyes as she gazed upward. Huā scarcely paid attention to her path as she wandered the isle. Much of it was still a mystery- especially the inner parts of the forest, with she had not bothered to wander through. Instead she stayed on the parts of the island open to the sea and sky. Upon her journey, the presence of another caught her attention.

Ruò, the quiet recluse, seemed to gaze at the night sky in the same way Huā had. Perhaps she was not as detached as she seemed. Huā makes her way up the slope, quietly joining Ruò on the edge. She did not know whether the girl would appreciate company, so her voice was a whisper as she asked- 你跟我说他们? All the while, her eyes trained on the glimmering sky above.
blue's cast a gaze toward the cousin, lukewarm to her presence before wandering back to the sky. she did not mind the company, but care toward the presence as hua came closer, and pondered a question. ruo did not mind, as the lion man had done the same. an expand of knowledge toward the skies above, "飞马在东方飞."

"但坎尼斯主要运行到西部,留下未成年人."
while some of the constellation of the major was seen, half of it disappeared beyond the edge of what they could see. she saw the minor appear, lonesome without the mother hound to accompany.
Luckily for the siren, Ruò seemed welcoming today- or the closest she would get to welcoming, that is. The warm-toned girl began to tell her things and Huā listened intently. But she had never been taught of stars- and so, many of the words used were lost on her.

She wondered whether to ask of it all, but decided it was best not to pester the cousin too much. So as seaglass eyes still gaze upon the milky way above them, she inquires singularly- 飞吗座是什么?
ruo had a lot of knowledge of the stars, as time was spent away from the family, and far more time looking at not only the stars, but being outside. she had met foreigners that shared their stories, and their names.. not to mention, her mother had the same interest.

"有翼的马."
The words were enough to spark an image instantly within her mind. There was the horse, a great hooved beast... with the feathered wings of a dove...

It was the flash of an image, which had her seaglass eyes widening, sparkling with wonder. An intake of breath at the imagined sight- and then it was gone, and she could see it no longer.

很漂亮, Was all she could whisper with the curious mind of a child. What other fantastical beasts did the stars hold within them? She was hesitant to bother Ruò with questions and more questions. But her imagination wanted to see them all.
weird. her cousin was always weird- but so was all the sisters. she counted mei as the most tame, but at the same time rarely interacted with. ying was the one she seemed to encounter the most, and was the most irritable one. silent, weird, and fucking annoying. .. ruo liked her family.

the siren can't read minds, so unless her cousin asked more questions, there was no more tales to share. she remained silent, watching above.
Too distant. Her cousin didn't seem keen on continuing without prompted, choosing to remain silent then. Well, Huā was curious- but she understood the value in quiet. In breathing in nature without a need for any exchange of words.

Momentarily she wonders if Ruò is spiritual- the way she gazed upon the tapestry of stars with wonder was something Huā had seen Mei do many times. Again- she felt wary to disturb the peace right now, so she had no intention of asking. Instead she looks through the stars, wondering if she could make up a constellation of her own.
