Auburn body moved swiftly across the grassy fields and meadows of the creek. Green eyed gaze took in the surrounding area as black nose lifted to smell the air and what tidings it brought. Twitch of whiskers and small sniff was all you heard of the dark creature as he walked. Grief stricken gaze and scar shaped in the daylight, catching glimpses of the sun as he walked.

He tore up the ground in long purposeful strides. Pausing every so often to mark the borders with a lifted leg and continue on. Maintaining the borders was what he was good at, meeting other wolves not so much. He was content with his existence, work and sleep, he did not need too have the fluff of other’s problems in his life. His was a simple existence and he liked it that way, once upon a time it had not been so, but grief and time had made the scarred man aloof and cold, not that he tried to be. The death of his family when he had been chosen to live, was too much for him to bear. It had snuffed out the sparkle in his eye and the zest in his step. Now he was just Kieran O’Malley a fatherless son.

The silver wolf swallowed the last piece of fish and rose to his paws, intending to do some border patrol. And perhaps meeting some Creek wolves on the way, one that he did not meet yet. He tried to keep track of the newcomers but they seemed to flood in so easily and leave at the sametime.

He lifted a leg to mark the borders and continued on his way, his gaze alert but thoughts swimming in his mind. It wasn't long before he spotted a wolf he hadn't met yet. He remembered him from the pack meeting though, the one that volunteered to help.

Hey. he called over, asking him to stop as he made his way towards him

Kieran lifted leg, only to set it back down again when a chuff reached his ears. Turning large Auburn head towards the sound, the light beating off of the scar that ran down his face and past his eye he studied the male behind him. He tilted head to study the wolf that had spoken to him, green eye taking him in. He was strong and cloaked in silver ice. Long legs of a runner, perhaps a bit lithe and proportioned well. He would make a good scout or warrior, perhaps even a warden. Kieran had assessed all this in a matter of moments. He also noticed the wet fur around the other’s paws and legs. He must have been fishing or wading through the river, that ran parallel to their pack land.

" Yer called me sir? oi'm kieran o'malley at yisser service." Kieran averted his eyes then, being one of the lowest on the hierarchy at the moment, this male had to be above him in rank. It was strange for the prince to be lower on the totem pole than most, but it did not bother him as much as it would have bothered his brother. Kieran had always been the second son, the one to only inherit the throne if his brother had died. He would have gotten the throne too, if the evil that shall not be named hadn’t taken everything and everyone and killed all those that defied him.

The auburn brute stood still his tail hanging down behind him, his long legs holding their easy grace. He kept his eyes down to the ground waiting for the other to speak, he wasn’t even sure if he could speak to this one. The wolves here seemed to have a hard time, figuring out what it was he was saying during the best of times.

The silver wanderer thought for a moment before managing to decipher his words. His name was Kieran o'Malley. Tilting his head slightly to the left, he remembered Bazi saying his name at the pack meeting but somehow he wasn't able to catch it. Nevermind. Kieran. he said, testing the name out before smiling.

I'm Shadow, how are you? I haven't met you face to face before have I? he knew he hadn't but they were in need for a decent conversation and this was a start. He wondered when Kieran was accepted. When Fox was still the Alphess of the Creek or when Bazi rose to take the title.

<style type="text/css">.Shadow{width:400px; margin:0px auto; padding:250px 25px 20px 20px; border:3px double #fff; background-image:url('http://i62.tinypic.com/2v29shw.png'); background-position: top; background-color:#1e6b3f; background-repeat:no-repeat; text-align:justify;} .Shadow-in {width: 385px; padding: 10px; background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.35); text-align: justify;} .Shadow q {color:#bad2ca; font:13px/2 georgia bold;} .Shadow p {text-indent:30px; color:#2e3f3f; font:11px/2 verdana; margin:0px;}</style>
Kieran saw the man struggling to decipher his words, and he cut a sigh short from working it’s way out of his maw. He was frustrated that he couldn’t make the wolves of his new home understand him, but he wasn’t going to work hard at cutting out everything that made him, well him. He had cut out his past, his memories everything, mostly because it hurt too much. But his language and his brogue, that would stay forever more.

" Well met shadow. scon are gran', tryin' ter make dis place me 'um. naw yer 'ad not yet met me bake ter bake" Kieran bowed his head, he had been accepted right after the alphess had left.

The silver male tilted his head, it was easier now for him to decipher his words. How is the Creek treating you? I'm sorry if our pack-mates were a bit unwelcoming, but you came in a hard time, as you probably know. he said, lowering himself onto his haunches and with a flick of his ears, inviting Kieran to do the same.

He did not dwell on the darker subject instead moved on to another. So, Kieran. Have you thought about the trades and which one you're going for? he assumed that the auburn wolf knew about the trades, being here longer than Paar, Ranier and Elijah. Speaking of Paar....

Have you met our new healer yet?

<style type="text/css">.Shadow{width:400px; margin:0px auto; padding:250px 25px 20px 20px; border:3px double #fff; background-image:url('http://i62.tinypic.com/2v29shw.png'); background-position: top; background-color:#1e6b3f; background-repeat:no-repeat; text-align:justify;} .Shadow-in {width: 385px; padding: 10px; background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.35); text-align: justify;} .Shadow q {color:#bad2ca; font:13px/2 georgia bold;} .Shadow p {text-indent:30px; color:#2e3f3f; font:11px/2 verdana; margin:0px;}</style>
Kieran tilted his head as the other spoke and he listened quietly. How as the creek treating him, well fine he supposed he had only been there a few days, didn’t talk to anyone and no one seemed to want to talk to him much either. Which didn’t necessarily bother the Irishman. Naw wan 'as been unkind. oi 'enny really met anyone yet.

Kieran sat down and shook his pelt free of dew. He curled his tail around his paws regally and waited. Oi 'av not tart av anythin' other than a 'um. He thought about trades. He’d probably make a fair warrior, or warden being that was what he had been, he knew some stories he supposed. Healing was not his forte. Naw oi 'enny met yisser 'ealer

The silver male nodded and he too, sat down. His gaze thoughtful as he began licking his paw clean, wondering if he could help Kieran with his trades. He had obtained his outrider trade and was walking towards the path of a warrior. He didn't know what other trade he should go for, he was still considering the options.

"We have a new healer, she's called Paarthurnax. You should meet her, she's quite nice, get yourself acquainted with new and old members. Have you met the pups yet? They're quite a bundle full of energy." he said in an attempt to get another conversation starting. An awkward pause had settled between them and he did not wish for this to end in awkwardness.

He wrapped his tail around his paws, his platinum gaze met Kieran's own eyes.

Kieran realizing he was being rude lifted auburn head and gazed at the other with green eyes. " Oi wus trained as a warrior beside me brah'der. oi suppose oi 'ill maybe belt on dat wan. perhaps warden wud chucker me well, as well. scon are a protector a brute nathin' more nathin' less."

Kieran went quiet again as the other male spoke. He had not met the healer, or the puppies, truth be told did not want to meet the puppies. It would remind him of what he lost and he would grow to like them, only to watch them leave. He would help them on their journey had already given his word on that, but he would not be their friend. He didn’t want any more heart ache. " 'ealin' is a gran' trade, so'tiz useful an' oi 'av deep respect for dohs dat chucker it. so'tiz not for me. "

"A warrior or warden huh? Why don't you go for both? I think Scimitar is going for both, he's obviously going for trades that involve fighting."[/b] he shrugged, "I'm also going for warrior since I'm probably a better attacker than defender which means I'll probably die before I even manage to slay any of my enemies," he said with a smirk, obviously joking.

This conversation seemed to be currently going downhill. "I actually haven't seen any wolf that is both either a warrior/warden and a healer. Its kind of weird because they're kind of opposites but if you're a warrior/warden and you're a healer. That means you can actually heal your own wounds." he said before realizing he probably didn't make any sense. "Do I make any sense to you?" he asked Kieran.

Kieran listened calmly but said nothing. It was not a good jest to jest about dying in battle, chances are you then did. He did however deign not to comment, it was not his place nor his business what the other said. It also wasn't his business if the other was really that cocky. "Oi can teach yer ter defend if yer loike. we can spar or oi can jist gie yer pointers."

Kieran chuckled a deep warm chuckle at the other's circle of words "Dat me mucker is waaat yer call well rounded." He laughed again and nodded his head he understood him and a warrior/warden/healer would probably be a good wolf to know.
Last post from me

The silver male smiled at Kieran, "Pointers would be nice, although my primary trade will still be outrider." he nodded at the other male as he rose to his paws. Speaking of outrider, he felt the urge to go and leave Creek territory again. His talk with Kieran had been pleasant, at least for him.

"I better go now, it was nice meeting you Kieran." he told the auburn wolf with a flick of his tail. "Thanks for the conversation," he flashed the male another smile before going on his way.
