rolled a failed hunt for deerstalker!
Hydra circled the herd loosely. They were aware of her, each of them. One wolf by themselves was cause for concern, but they did not yet bolt. They observed her as she observed them, which she was not unused to. Quietly, she sniffs at the air; there are various ages within this group, it is revealed, though none were sick. Her eyes sought the familiar sign of those particularly aged beasts, wondering if they might be the first to go and if they would be worth pursuing... but they were hidden by the protective lot.
They sent messages to one another through the flagging of their tail. Hydra watched, knowing well what this meant by now. If more joined her, they might be inclined to run; Hydra would take the opportunity to see if any could be felled.
