April 1@Daiyu

She watched the horses in silence. Where was Fengmian, and why hadn't they spoken? Her emotions, her thoughts, each overwhelming downcast; Ying sighed, stood, and made way for the border.
She was in an explorer mode, practically dancing across rocks and fallen trees without a care in the world. She adored her new home, revelled in the feeling of safety and comfort. A soft nickering sound caused the child to change directions, she had heard whisperes about creatures called.. oh what were they called? Horses, yes horses, but before she could reach them she spotted a very familiar salt white figure.

YING!

A yip escaped her lips in a wave of excitement, dancing to the women's side. Sadly she could not remember if this sister liked to be touched or not, she tried to suppress the time she spent in captivity. Most of her life, only revisiting the nightmare when she spent or was encountered with a dominant male. Her tail swayed happily in a greeting, wondering if this sister would remember that she did not speak unless spoken to.
Normally, her guest might have been ignored with subtle disinterest; the memories associated with Daiyu were too potent. The strangely familiar scent acted as first alarm, quickly followed by the unwelcome presence of its source.

Ying looked at Daiyu through trained side-eye, studying the girl's expression as they continued along the border. 你什么时候到的? the guardian asked. Her presence hadn't been otherwise noticeable, though Ying wondered if there was a reason.
