morning's welcome— yehudis bathed in the warmth of an ascended sun. another herd of deer grazed nearby, the quiet stepping of youthful hooves coercing earth-dwellers from their dens. she lifted her head and glanced toward the warren, smiling at the curious kits peeking over the plateau. spring had come into its fullness and graciously spread its wealth over the wilds.

she remained lying there for sometime, but eventually decided to return home. yehudis stood hesitantly onto shaky legs and turned for neverwinter, instead being greeted with something completely unexpected.

mimi? she whimpered. the woman continued creeping closer, until suddenly breaking into a sprint. yehudis braced herself for impact. udi! moriah replied. the stoic nymph leapt onto her sister's side, pushing them both onto the ground. the herd ran, the rabbits hid, while the women panted with laughter.

how long had it been? the pair spent a long moment enjoying their shared presence; there were things to be said, but in that moment, there was peace. yehudis pulled away, eyes wide with excitement. ווי האָט איר געפֿינען מיר? she asked. moriah's chest lifted and fell with each breath, her gaze fixed on her sister's foreign beauty. how long had it been?

finally, moriah replied: באַבאַ האָט מיך געבראַכט צו דיר. there weren't any other answers which could explain a miracle such as this. there were few times wherein the woman felt any deity worthy of praise, but this- moriah would have been a fool to not prostrate before the goddess. she fell into a bow, sides still heaving with exhilaration. pleased by the rare display of piety, yehudis whispered a prayer:

זאָלן זײ געפֿונען װערן.
