It had been a week since Howl had seen Moonshadow, and a little over a week since he had decided to commit himself to her. But given the way he had seen her last, and with who, he was sure that commitment had been compromised and not by his hand. Regardless he knew he couldn't have been here. Not through the week of her heat. If they had run into one another neither of their emotions would have been in check, especially with the addition of hormones. He stepped back into the territory and began to patrol, as though he could pretend like nothing had changed and needed to assume normalcy.
She didn't know what came over her the other day but she was worried about what could come of it. She hadn't seen howl in a week and the woman was beginning to think last year was going to happen all over again she hadn't even seen him doing his patrol as she continued walking.
