Ferdie stood above the new hotsprings entrance; steam flowing out of the hole and into the sky from the hole Ferdie and Ame had created. As Ferdie looked down the mist dampened his fur, Only for Jace would he get wetter then he had to. The rocky entrance was steep but not incredibly so it was useable as make shifts stairs. Then the was a wade or a swim down a dark cave like tunnel that now at light at both ends. The far end opened into the swimming pool of the HotSprings.

In the large open pit where most of the the hot springs water collected the water was deep and incredibly and enjoyably warm. There were rocks to laze about on, though the rocks could be slippery.

Ferdie waited for Jace here, he had matters to beg of Jace, It seemed in matters of the heart both these males were at a loss. But not before getting Jace's leg tended to.

Jace limped up the mountain side, every step making him grit his fangs tighter, until he was certain he would break them off. The constant pull and tightening of whatever was inside there caused him to squeeze his eyes so tight it looked as if he was crying. It was getting better, but there were days where he wanted to scream at the sky and literally rip out Scimitar’s throat, no matter that he was the one that instigated, he had not left the brute permanently marred, the bastard.

Jace let a sigh of relief reach his lip as he saw the steam and Ferdie, without an invitation he slowly made his way down into the springs. The tangy smell of sulfur made him want to gag a little bit, but once the first lap of the gentle warmth hit his chest, nothing else mattered. He tilted his large head and took a deep breath and then just laid there his eyes closed in bliss as the pain began to finally subside. this sucks Ferdie sucks.

Ferdie climbed down after Jace and pressed his head against Jace's shoulder fondly, sharing in Jace's sentiment. After a moment he lead the way deeper into the Hotspring into it's open cavern like bowl where he could lay on a rock and out of the water.

Jace I need to speak to you about a few things, But I thought we could do so here and stay around here for a while so we can care for your injured leg. I made a cache nearby here in case the pack needs to huddle here for warmth in the winter

Ferdie jumped up onto a rock and settled down upon it quickly, it was to slippery to stand on for very long he could help but drop his tail into the water but most of him was now no longer in it.

Anxious to unload on Jace he took to licking his chest clean of water while waiting for Jace to settle in.

Ferdie Von Pelt's heart ached but he ignored it, He didn't want to have love, he feared love now, it had cost him greatly in the past, and he sought to ignore love's call. Yet his torn heart now wanted not one but two females and neither one knew of each other and only one might now know of his feelings.
bwahaha It might be easier to take a male as a mate and raise random females pups, he was good at that

Ferdie's smile was heavy, not a real one by any means his eyes seemed sad, he didn't even know where to begin. I'm having trouble Jace I feel it's the duty of the alpha to have a mate and raise pups for the pack, I need to find a good alpha female. I have no idea what I am doing with Erika.... He left the part of his bleeding heart out for now he was hoping to gain insight on Jace's take on this whole thing

Ferdie Von Pelt sighed I shall not growl or snarl, you are my equal and I will honor your trepidation. And I will let you know why I did such a thing. A female has a very very hard time raising pups alone. She can't take breaks when they are nursing she needs someone to help her in her absences. The pups do best with security and routine, the same wolf helps the mother take breaks will help the pups understand.

I have been a father to pups before and again they were not my biological pups but I loved them anyhow, I know that if I were to help raise them I will ... damit ... I HAVE become to attached to them. There are two of them and they have helped to ease my soul and give me purpose. I wish nothing more then the raise them not only as members of our pack but as my children.

And here Ferdie finally got more to the point I was hoping that by taking them as my family so that I would not have to choose an alpha female so soon, but now I feel I have to choose even sooner because of their presence. Since our arrival on the mountain Ame has proven herself as Alpha female material, but I met this other female Hawkeye and she has expressed interest in ... At this Ferdie looked confused, as if he wasn't worth anything and indeed more often then not he did feel worthless In me... Only I refuse just to take a mate, she must be my Alpha Female, just as the beta female must be one of your choosing and you should be allowed to raise pups just the same with her

Ferdie perked his ears up, then purposed licked the water from the legs before speaking even though he would eventually get them wet again just to leave Oh Jace... You might want to stay away from the Blacktail Deer plateau, Apparently that's were Fox has taken up residence

Ferdie frowned he didn't like these words, they tasted bad. But what was he hoping for sunshine and rainbows? No... Life just was not like that, unless your name was Fox.

Ferdie nodded with a smirk I think so, but this Blue Willow wolf was able to keep Fox under paw at least for a moment. I hope the wolves of Blacktail Deer Plateau find out what Fox is before they lose Blue Willow very little did Ferdie Know Fox now completely had the reins over there.

Jace I have worse luck with love then I do with Water and that is saying something, Water and I just don't get along. You should have seen the day Ame and I discovered this place, lets just say the entrance was made out of necessity rather then function.

Ferdie deigned to answer Jace about the pups or the father business that was just a prelude to his hearts matters anyway. If the father came he would wait like the rest for the pups to be brought forth from the Den that is if this 'father' was allowed into the pack lands at all. They would not allow a trouble maker in and if Erika was hesitant at all that would be the end of that she was pack and family too now.

Ferdie sighed, I had hoped to delay my taking of a mate and alpha female until next spring perhaps I should stick to that plan. But I don't know if I can trust my heart or the females whom want it. immediately Hawkeye came to mind, the last female that wanted his heart tried to rip his heart out of his chest the only way she had ended up succeeding was though the pups that were his but not his, just like these pups were now. Only then that female had claimed they were his, which was still unfathomable since Ferdie is still a virgin...

I doubt Ame even wants to be my mate, She is a very good friend and I should not ruin that, I just said that she is prime alpha material, and I had hoped to eventually talk to her about becoming alpha and hoped that raising my pups wasn't going to be a burdening task. Ferdie frowned an expression upon his face like he sucked a lemon since he bared his soul to Jace and truly thought this.
