The silver wanderer shook himself awake as he rolled out of his den and approached the Creek wearily, lapped up some water, and dove in like a madman. Immediately he resurfaced, swimming back ashore and shaking his fur dry. It was just a swim to wake him out, he hadn't really slept well last night. As quick as lightning, his muzzle dipped into the water again and swallowed the tiny fish clamped between his jaws.

It was not enough to even take away the edge of his hunger so he made his way to Duck Lake, the early morning sun shining across the lake casting reflections and the temperature was just right, warm. Though it would probably grow hot when noon came. He eyed the swimming ducks coldly, in fact today his whole expression was cold, impassive and probably not a good thing for strangers since Duck Lake was close to the Creek and if anyone came by, they were in for a round of intense questioning.

He dove in again, jaws clamping down on a large duck and snapping its neck. He flung it onto the shore and went for another.

" Der nact porta des menuskte, da set muet" , Raven mumbled to herself. She managed to keep herself sated on small rodents and an occasional Ptarmigan whenever she was lucky enough to catch one, but big and filling game alluded her. This was a problem, because of desperation, the pitch black femmora dared to enter forbidden lands, just for a chance to get prey. "Either eat, or be eatin", she burdened herself with the newly spoken words. Trotting, and sniffing the air for potential threats or food opportunities, Raven caught sight of a buck. Excited, she sprinted full speed with the velocity of a starving wolf, but with the care of a papoose, and her left hind caught on a fallen log after attempting a jump, swinging her on her back, and sending her sliding down a small hill, right into Duck Lake.
Just out of curiousity, what language is she speaking? Also I'm assuming they haven't met yet.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

A loud splash alerted all the ducks and loudly quacking, they scurried away from his reach. He swam towards the dark figure in the lake and fastened his jaws on her scruff and made his way to the shore. He shook his wet fur, spraying the droplets of water everywhere. He didn't drag the loner out to save her life, why should he care about someone who had interrupted his meal and scared the prey away. He had brought her here to question her.

Glaring at her with icy silver eyes, hackles bristling, ears pricked and tail raised as a sign of dominance, he growled "Who the hell are you? You scared the fucking ducks away and now what am I suppose to eat, huh?" he gestured to the lake with his tail. "Also, what are you doing so near our territory? Are you planning to intrude? Maybe I should kill you now? What do you think? How do you wish to die?" he hissed softly.

He wasn't actually going to kill her, he wasn't his father who randomly killed strangers. He only killed with reason but this female needed to be taught a lesson. He adopted a smirk, "What do you think?" he asked again, flicking his tail impatiently. First of all she needed to submit to him then answer all of his questions or he'll drag her to Bazi and Scimitar and see how they'll deal with her.

He gazed at her with cold platinum eyes, a smirk still on his lips. He towered over her, waiting for her reply.

(Its not an actual language, just more so Raven's "Mystic" tongue. Its the words usually used for prayers and incantations for readings and remedies from learnings at her birth pack, but nothing as awesome as Nord. And your right, they dont know anything about each other. Great assumption. :P)

Hacking water out of her lungs, dizziness spun madly before Raven's titanium orbs, and she didnt even register that a voice even spoke to her, until her ragged breaths subsided. She tilted her wobbly black soaked skull to look up at the male who rescued her, only for it to drop back down, too hard to be intentional. Her stomach ached from hunger pangs, and after her soggy ears slicked the top of her crown, Raven sat in silence, analyzing the situation as best she could through the muddled fog of confusion in her head. "I dont know who you are..." with a wheeze and a cough, Raven tried to hobble to her fours, managing only two. "...but a hello would be a nice greeting before savaging a drowned and starving girls feelings." She shook her head in an effort to again, clear the dispersing fog, being successful a bit for her attempt. "My name is Raven...and yes, I know where I am." Seeing the position of his silvery tail, and the scent on his hide threw his out there to reveal his position in the nearest pack border, and a well respected member, so in return she lowered her own onyx silked and soaked banner.

"Im sorry I scared your prey, I was looking for my own. If you wish for something big..." Pointing her nares in the northern direction at the top of the slick hill she slipped from. "A medium sized buck tramped down the woods over there. I would say about this time of year, he would potentially be in the north west of that section of woods." She turned and hoped he did not notice the tremble on her end.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

The silver prince just stared at her, "You interrupted my meal and you expect me to say hello? I should have let you drown." he snorted in disgust. "I want to eat duck and you scared them all into the pits of hell. I do not have much patience and if you do not explain to me why you're so close to our borders and why you so stupidly fell into the lake, you will die." he said so rather pleasantly although it was edged with ice.

"Be quick or I will have to drag you all the way back to my pack like prey, that is not what you want, no?" he smirked dangerously, waiting for her reply. If what she said did not appease him, he would have to drag her all the way back to the Creek just because he wanted to and he would like to see her fully questioned.

Fury unfurled within her at the toss and turn of her life as though it were some sort of meager sort of trash. Her ebony fur bristled, and with her back still to the hessian, she spoke with a voice laced with venom. "You may have some sort of feeling of righteousness for your disrespect, but one thing will be made crystal fucking clear for you. " Raven's temper almost got the better of her, and compared to the beast that desired to fight, this was not the time nor place for such a thing, and she stuck with a low but audible growl in her voice. "I am NOT one to be threatened like some sort of pathetic rag dog, and I will damn sure not be dragged anywhere without you working for such a privilege. I am not some sacrifice you will throw at the paws of your pack just so you feel better about losing a few DAMN DUCKS. I have shown respect to you." Then calming her tone, with a bit of dark underlaying in it, she spoke again. "Bringing in a weak, starving, injured, and half drowned girl to your pack, who despite your rude remarks, was STILL nice enough to offer you assistance in getting a buck. Not even on pack borders, she did no wrong. Close...but not tresspassing. She gave you her name. And was polite. Yet you want to drag her back to your pack...." Making her way fully to her shaking fours, Raven shook her half dried silky fur, forcing herself to remain upright. "And if your pack allows you to do a sick thing such as that to a kind girl who apologised and was even willing to compromise,...then you all are sick." She faced the lake, watching the now at ease ducks settle back onto their pond, one by one, until the normal numbers were restored. Raven stood, watching the birds with the crystal stare of someone who wished but could not have a simple day with no danger to herself.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

The ashen male listened, amused as the female ranted. "Hmm, good point actually." he wasn't fazed by her growls and rants at all. He had endured so much more in his two years to actually be fazed by a mere drowning stranger. "Let's make a deal, you help me catch some ducks and thank me for saving your life and I'll let you go with a free ticket for seeing me again." he winked at her.

He wasn't actually going to drag her all the way to the pack, he would be literally exiled and that would not be a good thing. "You said you're injured? Where?" he wasn't going to let this female go injured after she had amused him and brought him out of his shitty mood.

"Let's make a deal, you help me catch some ducks and thank me for saving your life and I'll let you go with a free ticket for seeing me again."  he said.

Turning to look over her shoulder, she caught his wink, and after being threatened by him, she still felt an ember of hatred turned towards him. He calls himself to be cocky at this moment, eh? Fine then. She'll bite.
"I like that deal. Let's have a deal of a deal, though. How about, you apologize for being rude to me, tell me your name, and then I would gladly help you murder ducks, and thank you for saving my life." Looking at him, a tiny smirk of her own appeared on her ebony maw.

At times, ahe wished she would have just upped and walked away, but this was probably the first time she had seen another wolf in seemingly years, when in truth it was only half a year since she had left The Forsaken. With pointed ears, and full given attention, she awaited his choice.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"I like that deal. Let's have a deal of a deal, though. How about, you apologize for being rude to me, tell me your name, and then I would gladly help you murder ducks, and thank you for saving my life."

He smiled, finally someone with a sense of humor other than Danica. But she did not answer his question about her injuries. "I accept that deal, Raven but only if you tell me about the injuries you claim to have. I'm not letting you wander alone with a bunch of injuries, perhaps our healer would be able to help."

Now he smirked at her, awaiting her reply, his gaze thoughtful. If she accepted, he wondered how Paarthurnax would feel if he brought a female to see her. Someone that he talked to and literally asked for her to come with him. He didn't know.

"...only if you tell me about the injuries you claim to have. I'm not letting you wander alone with a bunch of injuries, perhaps our healer would be able to help."

Her thoughts focused on his latter words.
Now he concerned himself with her wounds when he originally wanted to have her killed over some lost ducks! She scoffed internally, but kept smooth with the silver draped hessian.
"In the fall, I may have broken a rib. And as for my head, it keeps being...foggy...probably a concussion? And with me being famished...well...that doesnt really help my condition."
As her silver blue eyes glazed a bit, for a second, Raven forgot she was talking to the guy that threatened her life, almost seeing him as a packmate of hers who went by the name of Cretivar. So witty. Inquisitive. Bold. Snapping out of the past, she focused again.
"Now what is your name?"
I'm thinking of Raven accepts his offer, we could have another thread with Paarthurnax? If you want to of course, :)

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"In the fall, I may have broken a rib. And as for my head, it keeps being...foggy...probably a concussion? And with me being famished...well...that doesnt really help my condition."

His silver eyes scanned her before offering her a faint smile, "Apologies for being rude to you, Raven. I go by the name Shadow." He lowered his head to grasp the dead duck's neck and flung it towards her. "Eat and drink before I bring you to our healer. Perhaps she would be able to help you before you travel again."

He canked his head in a curious manner, "After all, we don't want you to die half-way throughout your journey, do we?" Sadly, he couldn't offer her a place in their pack, it was full and he could only offer her healing and sanctuary for a few days.

(I definitely wouldnt mind. The more people I meet, the better, I suppose. ^-^ As long as Raven doesnt screw up with her and set the entire pack on her ass, she should be ok. xD)

Looking down at the tossed duck, she gratefully ducked her head, picked up the duck in her jaws, and devoured it within seconds, bones and all. Giving him a sheepish look, she flattened her ears with a ghost of a smile. "I dont usually eat like a lady, when I havent had a meal in approximately 2 weeks. Sorry about that. And...thank you, Shadow." Arching her neck, she sent him a side glance of new found appreciation, and decided try not to be awkward for once. "Did you wanna get your ducks back? I do feel a bit better..as long as I dont drown, break another rib, or kill myself in some other way, you should have a pretty good meal." Gandering at the mass of swimming birds on the shining waters, Raven added, "And after we eat, maybe I can bring a bit of thanks to your healer by food and some random herbs, spices, and other cool stuff I found along my way here. " The fully dry onyx femmora looked up at the larger wolf, wondering what he would say about her suggestion of peace.
xD Just waiting to see if Paar accepts.

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

The silver male nodded once, "I'm sure she would appreciate it." and dove into the lake again, when he resurfaced, dragging another duck towards the shore. He shook himself and lowered himself onto his haunches, curling his tail around his paws as he regarded Raven thoughtfully while swallowing the pieces of duck.

"As long as you don't cause trouble, you'll be fine. But if you do, well, it won't be pleasant." It wouldn't be pleasant for her as she would probably be chased by a pack of snarling battle-hardened wolves. Territorial and protective pack wolves.

(Nice, we got stalling time then.)

Still being off her rocker a bit, the suddenness of his full fledged dive into the water startled her, and she idiotically tripped trying to get back to her fours, landing back in the same spot. Drotch, im such a whimp, Raven berated herself with. Then she remembered how elegantly he dove into the water. She figured that was a thing he enjoyed, swimming. Perhaps she'd ask him later on. Standing up, and shaking out her dark coat, and dove in, as well, snaging a duck in her jaws, right before she crushed its trachea, and tossed it next to his.
"not as pretty as his...good enough though. " Raven turned to the soaked silver brute, and tilted her own wet crown. "How many more would you like?"
xD yeah

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"How many more would you like?"

The silver male stood up and gently nudged the black female back to the shade of the trees, "You are injured and you can fulfill your part of the deal about catching ducks when you're healed but for now, rest. I am not the kind of wolf that would tell an injured lady to go catch ducks. And trust me, I would never have actually dragged you all the way to the pack, I am not my father."

"Sit, and I shall do the hunting for both of us," he offered her another duck, one duck was only enough to fill a puppy's stomach, not enough for a full grown wolf. Besides he enjoyed hunting in the water and even if they had some left over, they would go to the pack's food cache.

If she hadntve told herself to not be awkward from the start, her jaw would have hit the muddy floor. Such a turnaround, he was...so intriguing. Azarartha forbid, she gets on his bad side. After looking at his once cold steel eyes that were now holding concern in them, she gave a nod, and tried not to limp towards the tree he nudged her too, but even a bat would be able to see through her façade. So underneath the destined tree, Raven sat, watching him, wondering what she could do to repay the favor, besides hunting for him the ducks she promised. ja,...minusk pervat da deas ga tatanka. Hey, maybe following through with that one...done. She knew exactly what shed do. And he would definitely like it. Feeling a pleased smile creep its path along her lips, she downed the other duck he offered her with a "Granjë. Thank you"

Then she recalled what he had said to her..
"Trust me, ..." " I am not my father."
Had he actually revealed a bit of his life to her? He did...and Raven refused to let anything ruin that. She definitely needed to not be a fuck up with this. And that, she swore to Azarartha.
Turning her platinumed gaze back to his graceful fowl hunting, she watched with a feeling in her soul that maybe, she may have found a friend.
Going to conclude this and get this archived! :D Last post from me

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

He dove gracefully into the water again, intent on hunting as much ducks as possible without the population of ducks decreasing too much. He didn't want to go to Duck Lake one day to just see a body of water without any of its inhabitants. No, he wanted to go to Duck Lake and see it teeming with Ducks.

Raven was hopefully sitting down and resting, he didn't want to carry her to Paarthurnax and he most certainly wasn't going to drag her there. That was too brutal for his liking because the twigs and branches littered across the ground would no doubt scratch her flesh and pelt.

Nevermind, for now he would content himself with duck hunting.
