Her goddess was growing impatient. In her dreams and the visions she received told her of her goddess' insistence for her pack to being. Truth be told, Meldresi was growing lax in finding new wolves. She already had Leatherface, and was uncertain in the alliances of Fang, Rahzie and Keith. She needed them in order to finalize her pack.

The priestess laid by the shores of the Big Salmon Lake, eyes absently fixed on the blue water. Her indigo eyes were narrowed as she thought. She needed to get them with her, or suffer Mephala's wrath. The Daedric Goddess would not kill her for this, but she would be punished in one way or another. The punishment of the goddess of Lies and Deceit would be subtle, but harmful nonetheless...

(Im so sorry I took forever. Wifi is forever gay.)

Raven trotted through the woods, praying to Azarartha that Syver would not be displeased by her absence. The obsidian female pondered whether he saw her message in the sand that read Be right back, getting more herbs. She sniffed the ground, searching for the herbs of Bailen leaf, and Faedis flowers, when she came across another scent...a female wolf. And by the freshness of the scent, Raven judged her to be ridiculously close.

Raven tracked down the scent, hoping the mysterious femmora could help her find the herbs. And then there she was. A dark form laying by the edge of the lake. Raven hoped she was not hostile, or vicious...she had had enough of being savaged for once. She was too weak to stop her, even if she tried. Never the less, the obsidian pelted femmora walked up to the also dark she wolf, making sure she was aware of her presence, so to not startle her.

"Dedanara, fyra, Greetings friend.", Raven said in a polite manner, with a respectably lowered silky tail.

There was someone approaching, but Meldresi made no move to notice their arrival. Whoever it was came right up to her, speaking a greeting in another language before shifting to the common tongue. The priestess' indigo eyes turned to her before nodding back. "Greetings."

She breathed in her scent scenting a trace of salt. She must have come from the sea then. The dark female shifted onto her stomach before continuing the conversation further. "Are you from that ocean pack? Stav.....Stavanger bay?" It was only an assumption. There was only one pack that resided by the shore that she knew of, but it was possible that she was simply a loner as well.

Raven gulped at the mention of the pack.
That was not a memory she wished to revisit.
"No, I..I am traveling with a.." She did not know what to label Syver yet, for she felt misleading feelings for him..fear..a desire to please him,..an urge to acompany him, ..the hope to run from him...so many more in between. "I am traveling with my Jarl, at this current time. We are of no pack, however. "

Raven figured Syver did not want his name disclosed to a random female, amd she rather not anger him by doing so.
Instead she looked at the dark female before her.

"Are you of any pack, miss..?"
Raven wished the female to say her name, as it was rude to converse in pleasant company without titles.

Jarl. She had heard the term be used for some of the packs up north. The Norse ones. Fierce barbarians they were, at least some would say. She was once the lover of one barbarian before the orders were given and she killed him. But the times before that were fun. She didn't know much about Stavanger Bay, but wondered if they were led by a Nord. The name of the pack sounded Norse.

"Meldresi Melonii." She said, giving the dark female her name. "And I am of a pack, Ouroboros Spine....though I plan on leaving soon." Could she be another potential packmate? She was without strong ties to a pack, though this Jarl of hers could be persuaded to join as well...

Raven diipped her head as an acknowledgment action, and studied the black female with curious silver hued blue orbs. She wondered why the fellow female was leaving.

"My name is Raven, pleased to meet you, lady Meldresi."

As she stood, the temptation to ask her her more questions almost made Raven insane. She wanted to know of her origins, why she was leaving a pack, when Raven was almost killed for even attempting to join one, where she planned to go..so many questions buzzed her mind.
She decided to softer her curiousity abit.

"Is pack life not treating you well, miss Meldresi? "
Gazing into her eyes, genuine curiousity showed blatantly to the other she wolf.

Raven. A common, if not generic style of name. Naming children after parts of nature; animals, elements. Raven, Sky, Snow. It was lazy, at least in her eyes. A child should have a name that was earned, similar to that Jace fellow. And they should have a name to commemorate that. But that was her opinion.

Miss Raven here was asking her reasons for leaving. She thought that she wasn't liking the pack lifestyle anymore. "No....nothing like that." The priestess spoke calmly. "My alpha got sick recently but before she could succumb to the disease she was killed by a usurper. The wolf who was chosen to take her place was defeated by the murderer. Soon after that, the old beta, mate to the old alpha, died of natural causes..." She sighed, looking passably distraught. "I no longer wish to live in that pack anymore."

Raven watched as the female before her spoke with patience about the unfortunate things happening in her own pack. She was grateful for her disclosure of such information, and she swore she would remember her for it.
As for the female her self, Raven was surprised she had rather have solitude rather than a pack life. Had the drama made the seemingly calm and patient she wolf weary?

"Were you on route to join a neighboring pack? " The obsidian female asked hesitantly. She prayed she did not say Stavanger Bay on her maw. If so, Raven was pleased she knew the dark female while she lasted, for the Alpha of that pack wad not to be toyed with, nor taken lightly.
With ears pricked forward, the she wolf listened attentively.

The priestess shook her head. She wasn't planning on joining any of the other packs. None of them seemed interesting anyway. No, she was putting her goddess' mark on the metaphorical map of Teekon Wilds. "No, I am planning on starting my own." She confessed.

She gestured east, towards the dark forest in the distance that was Blackfeather Woods. "I hope to start it there. It's called Blackfeather Woods."

Puzzled and intrigued at the same time, Raven swished her dark soft tail. Blackfeather Woods? She had never heard of that before. Then again, she was not all that familiar with Teekon wilds anyway, so she did not doubt the females words.
Though...if she was starting her own...perhaps her and her Jarl could potentially. ..

Raven stopped her thought right there. She knew in her gut she would have to request his permission before she did such a thing. But she would make a request to get the female to remember her, and if Azarartha allowed it..she would gladly join.

"Would you mind if I found a place with you in your pack, Meldresi? I would be very happy, if I could. " a hopeful light shown in Raven's silver orbs, as she gazed at the she wolf before her.

The silver-eyed wolf was pondering something. She could sense it. Was it the thought of what this ominous sounding forest looked like? Or was it the possibility that her Jarl would allow her to join Meldresi? The priestess knew from experience that the Nords of the north were very dominant over their underlings. If Raven did indeed belong to a Jarl, she would have to ask for his consent.

She offered Raven a smile when she asked to join, more or less."Of course." She said. "But, you'll have to tell me what you would offer my pack." She would not accept freeloaders there, but already the dark female looked promising. From the smell of her, she was a healer, or apprenticing as one.

Raven's gut sank when the black hellion asked her to tell her beneficial traits of herself. This had reminded her of the very question that Ragnar asked her, and she almost cowered at the thought of feeling useless. Almost.

She sent a silent prayer to Azarartha and spoke with a calm she did not feel internally.
"I am a Mystic..I study under my goddess Azarartha, who is La Deitra der Luna, the goddess of the moon. She shows me predictions or foretellings of the time and season, and through the Lunar Scripts, I have accomplished mastering most of the moons phases. I can tell you the forthcoming types of events in the day, and if Azarartha grants it to me, the predictions of events in a season. The best breeding times, the best hunting times and areas..."

Taking a breath, the black femmora continued.
"I do not know if having a seer in your pack may prove useful, kyat, but, so far, from my situations, my visions and lessons have not been wrong, to this day."

Raven did not know if the fellow hellion would consider her, but if she was turned away, she would understand completely. After all, being a Naturalist was not very important in todays spectrum of time, it seemed.
With a seemingly calm face, the midnight wolf gazed at Meldresi, awaiting her judgment.
Do you want to do a different thread with Syver or simply tag him in this one?

She was of a different faith than her own. While Raven worshipped a goddess of the moon, a common god worshipped throughout the lands, she worshipped someone different. Who seemingly clashed with that seemingly calm and peaceful goddess. But she would not discriminate, however much she wanted to convert this nonbeliever. Her traits granted by her goddess could be proven useful."I myself am a priestess. I worship the Daedric Goddess Mephala, the Webspinner. She is very much different than your goddess Azarartha..." She said, standing up. Her indigo eyes met the silver ones of the Mystic.

"But regardless of our differing faiths; I will accept you. Naturalists can and will be helpful in the long run. But, this Jarl of yours..." She said, wondering who would be brash enough to call themselves Jarl without a pack. "Would he be willing to join too?"

( Im gonna tag him. :3)

After being told the other wolfs beliefs, the obsidian she wolf swished her tail. She did not judge another based on their beliefs, and not know if the female held a high opinion of her Goddess the way Ragnar or Syver did.

"But, thisJarl of yours..."
Raven felt an emotion in her chest at the mention of her Alpha, and she could not discern whether she felt defensive for him, or wary of the black females intentions, so she said nothing until Meldresi finished her sentence.

"Would he be willing to join too?"

Raven had no clue. She saw Syver as being an alpha of his own pack, not joining anothers. maybe she aspired for him to have his rightful position as a ruler. Then again, his intentions were his own. She only knew so much of her Jarl.

"Only one way to find out. A straight answer from him, himself, Meldresi."
Sending her a swift smile, Raven leaned on her left shoulder, and sent her bell like howl into the air, for her Jarl, @Syver.

The ivory prince scowled as he saw the message scrawled on the ground by Raven. Gathering more herbs? That was his job not hers and if she was eaten by a wild animal like a bear or something it was not his responsibility. After all, she had wandered away from his protection. He dug his claws into the sand and clawed all over the words, hissing softly.

He heard her voice, her howl, summoning him. Her Jarl. Did he have to punish her again? To make sure she learnt her place. He was of higher rank between the two of them and he did not tolerate such disrespect from his subordinate. He pondered whether or not to answer her call, he did not want to appear weak to answer his subordinate's call but she might be in trouble and he had promised her he would protect her.

He followed her voice, tail held high in the air as he approached her, or them. He was angry, did she not know it could be dangerous? And who was this female, another dark wolf and from a pack by her scent. He trotted forward, standing slightly in front of Raven, his stance protective, his sapphire gaze cold as he looked at the female in front of him. Expression impassive and regal as he gazed between the two dark females.

Finally a cold smirk appeared on the yearling's lips. Ert þú vilt að ég að drepa hana, Hrafn?" he asked softly, gaze on Raven even though he knew she didn't understand what he was saying. "What is wrong, Hrafn?" he said smoothly in his accented voice. "Is she bothering you? Do you need help?" he glanced briefly over at the other dark female before turning to look at his subordinate again.

In answer to her question, Raven threw back her head and howled for her Jarl. After a few moments the white wolf arrived, a scowl on her face. During her time on the Norse coasts, she picked up a bit of the Nord's tongue, and though she had not spoken it in a while, she knew enough to translate what he was saying. Drawing back on her basic Norse, she responded. "Það verður engin þörf fyrir það,"

He was quite younger than she thought he would be. She expected someone older than a year old being a Jarl. Perhaps he was only claiming the title to show his dominance over his subordinate Raven. She answered for the other dark wolf. "I was only speaking to Raven about the possibility of joining the pack I will starting....I wanted to know if you were interested too..."

"What is wrong, Hrafn?"  he spoke with no expression to her company, yet cast a sea born gaze upon her.
Raven felt the air feel as though it lowered a few degrees.

"Nothing, she does no harm, amd means no foul intention.. "

"Is she bothering you? Do you need help?"
Raven shook her dark crown.
"I am well. She has not hurt me. Only a simple request, she asks for, Jarl."
She knew if this female wished, she could have killed Raven the moment she spoke to her. Yet she did not. She saw Raven in a weakened state, and though she had not, she had many opportunities to kill her, though it served no purpose.
Then Raven heard Meldresi speak to him.

So this female knew of her Jarls ancient language? ...Was she of Nordic kin?
Raven was intrigued. She watched as her alpha stood in a slightly defensive stance, as he awaited her answer, keeping that familiar face he held to those who he knew not of.
One of coldness. Of uncaring. Raven stepped back, letting her leader take charge finding what he wished to know of her newly met wolf company.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #000000; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/FKtUfb7.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #480000;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 350px; color:#606060; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 30px; padding-top: 330px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

The ivory princed cocked his head at the unknown female when she spoke in Norse, but it would not save her life. Besides she didn't even look like a Scandinavian, she must just be a person that learnt how to speak Norse when she was traveling or something like that.

"I was only speaking to Raven about the possibility of joining the pack I will starting....I wanted to know if you were interested too..." Raven wanted to join her pack? The one she would be starting. He smirked at the unknown female before turning to his subordinate. "I am well. She has not hurt me. Only a simple request, she asks for, Jarl."

He looked Raven in the eye and whispered softly to her, "This is your decision, whether you want to stay with me or leave, Hrafn." he murmured softly before turning to look at the strange dark female in the eye, cerulean gaze cold. "No, I will not be joining however Raven's decision is her own. What she says now will be her final decision." he said smoothly with a tilt of his head.

Short post, sorry...

She nodded in understanding. Raven would choose for herself, and her Jarl would not come with her. It was fine, she had a possible follower, correct? Raven would come, most likely. Even if she didn't, Meldresi still had possible followers."Well Raven, what is your decision?"

"This is your decision, whether you want to stay with me or leave, Hrafn."

Drotch, Drotch, Drotch. So her leader had chosen what she had previously suspected. He was going to say no. She did not see him as being a follower, any way, so Raven understood. She was curious as to why he rejected the offer...he and her both knew that there was safety in numbers, but he was overly capable of taking care of himself . Not only that, Raven still owed him. Not only did she owe him her life, but she owed him her loyalty. And she could not do that apart from him. That was his no. And as predicted...

"No, I will not be joining however Raven's decision is her own. What she says now will be her final decision."

Exactly. And she knew with his no, hers would also have to be a no. She had made a promise to herself. And to him. And Raven knew deep in her heart that she would have to stay because of this. Not only does she look up to her alpha...there was a certain strange feeling in her for him. Again, she knew not what it was..but it was there. And it grew everyday that spent with him.

"Well Raven, what is your decision?"

Both pairs of lupine eyes lay upon her.
And now she had to decide.
And as much as she wished to be a part of the pack...she knew without thinking who she would choose. Nodding, she stood close enough to Syver for her left flank to lightly tough his right one.

"I apologise, Meldresi...but I choose to stay with my Jarl. Perhaps one day, we may meet again, and rejoice in the reunion. "
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #000000; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/FKtUfb7.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #480000;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 350px; color:#606060; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 30px; padding-top: 330px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

Syver moved to press his flank reassuringly against hers as she spoke "I apologise, Meldresi...but I choose to stay with my Jarl. Perhaps one day, we may meet again, and rejoice in the reunion. " She chose to stay with him even after he had bitten her, injured her. He had a reason to that, she had disrespected him but non-Scandinavians might not understand so he was extremely surprised.

However he did not move or do anything, instead flicked his tail and eyed Meldresi cooly with his usual cold and thoughtful expression. "We have spoken." was what he said simply, touching Raven's head with his own muzzle gently before withdrawing.

Last post from me! If you want to do your last posts or just end it here, go ahead.

Meldresi gave no sign of her annoyance and discomfort. She put on a mask of slight disappointment, but internally she was frustrated. Why was she so attached to this Jarl of hers? What could he offer her exactly? No matter. She had other chances, other people. Perhaps she could try again, another time.

"I understand, Raven." She said gently. "If you ever change your mind, I'll be in Blackfeather Woods over there." The priestess nodded towards the dark woods in the distance behind them. She turned, ready to head back to Ouroboros Spine. "Be well you two." The dark priestess' tail twitched softly before she left, heading home, annoyed that her dreams of creating a pack was taking too long. But, good things come to those who wait, correct?

Exit
(Same here. :3)

Raven ducked her head in appreciation of the females understanding. At least she could return to her, perhaps for a visit or two. That was if her leader said she could.
And until she could go anywhere on her own, she was going to stick by his side.

"Be well you two."
Raven nodded.
"You as well, Meldresi. "
With that, she watched the disappointed female turn away, heading back to the wood.
With a heavy heart, she watched her go until she became a dark particulate in the horizon.
She looked up at her alpha, waiting for his next move.
