The sterling outrider needed to get away from the Creek after his conversation with Danica, after she told him that Bazi had kicked her out because of her sexuality, after she had confessed to the ivory Alphess that she had feelings for her. He needed to get some fresh air away from the Creek, to calm down and make sure he didn't accidentally kill the newest Alphess.

He wondered what kind of Alphess would Bazi turn out to be, they didn't need another Fox and Bazi was certainly proving herself to be another fiery stubborn Alpha as she followed in their previous runaway Alphess's pawsteps. She might love the pack like they were her family, something that Fox couldn't have done but that didn't mean she would be a good Alphess.

He arrived at a place he had not ventured before, looming mountains surrounded the forest. Staring around him in awe, he forgot about his troubles as he trotted through the Vale. Only when a paw sank into the water did he escape his thoughts. He lapped at the clear cool water of the Creek, gazing around. Maybe this would be a good place. A good place to begin again.

( Figured I'd have you meet Adair :3)

Adair had a taste for rabbit, and through his travels, he knew they would reside in an area of this temperment. He had already passed many potential trails, yet he denied them, for he knew they were young rabbits. He rather them fatten up a bit before he attempted to hunt them, so he would not decrease so much of their population. Trotting through the dense wooded area, Adairs ears swiveled to the sound of lapping water, at it was then that he noticed the hidden Creek, along with a silver coated wolf. From far away, he knew not the gender of his fellow wolf, nor did he recognise him. So Adair decided to be friendly, and find out.

The massive black and hazel silked male trotted over to the area whet the other brute knelt, drinking at one of nature's most necessary resources. He made sure to make a decent amount of noise, to ensure he did not anger the discovered male. A few feet away from his company, Adair called out with a dip of his satined head.
"Hello, there."
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

His ears swiveled towards the wolf while his gaze remained on the clear river. A few feet away from him, the wolf called out "Hello, there.". He turned his head slowly over to him, silver eyes cold as he regarded him thoughtfully. "Hey," he replied to his greeting as he continued looking around him, admiring the view. This would make a good place for a pack but decided to check out all the other territories too. After all it might be too close to The Sunspire for their liking.

He dipped his head to lap up some water again as he gazed around him and finally turned to look at the male, tail thumping once against the ground as he waited for his answer. The sterling outrider was not known for his patience.

Gazing at the silver he wolf, Adair wondered if he was there for the same reasons as himself. Instead of being one who was way of strangers, Adair welcomed all with a kind smile and calm demeanor.
He watched the silver coated smaller male, Adair sent him a nod of acknowledgment. He watched as his company looked around, studying his surroundings. Was he looking for something?
"Did you need some help finding anything? I dont know this area so well myself, but two noses are better than one, aye?"

Adair chuckled softly at his attempt at a conversation. He was never ago that good at that, but what he was good at was being friendly.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"Did you need some help finding anything? I dont know this area so well myself, but two noses are better than one, aye?"

What was this male doing here, interfering with what he was doing? He didn't need the help of a stranger, one that was probably weaker than him, a pathetic wolf. He probably didn't even know anything, other packs probably only accepted him because of his size and strength. But Shadow did not show it, he had always been able to hide his real emotions and nobody had been able to see through it for sometime. Only the ones that knew him best could see through his mask, and even if they did so, they could only see a bit of his thoughts. A stranger most certainly could not.

His usual smirk and hardened expression came across his face, eyes glimmering with amusement as he stared at the male. "Nah, I don't need to find anything or anyone. They'll find me sooner or later." he flashed the male a wry grin. "I agree that two noses are better than one, but in this case I disagree. After all I have always been able to track anything and anyone down with just myself."

He flashed the male another smirk, tilting his head slightly as he dipped his head down to lap at the creek waters, licking the droplets off his chin as he raised his head up and regarded the male thoughtfully.

The younger silver male had a twinkle in his cold eyes, but it was not a jovial one. He seemed to be pulling himself back. Adair understood. He was not one to trust others for anything, especially within a few seconds of meeting a new wolf. The wise wolf knew that. So he did not press the matter. After all, he didnt even know his name, and he was offering help. Such independence, this mystery wolf was.

"I agree that two noses are better than one, but in this case I disagree. After all I have always been able to track anything and anyone down with just myself."

At this, Adair sent the other wolf a deep rich laugh. He was so independent!
And so wary, he is. Adair didnt think the other wolf had anything against him. So he shook his dark brown and haze plated head. Then he quieted down his laughter and sent the warm gaze of a father to the younger hessian.

"I understand you're not one for talk, and from judging your lack of attention to another, I see you do not contain patience. You are are a wolf who studies. One who finds the intentions of others, and determines whether it may be beneficial to keep em around."

Grinning at the smirk the silver wolf sent his way, Adair chuckled a bit more.
"You don't hold anyone close enough to depend on them, just incase they screw you over. Independence runs strong in you."
Giving a small smile after the light hearted words he said, Adair nodded once, and with an approving look, he said softly.

"Keep at it. That is the one trait I never had as a young one. Amd that is another mistake I will never make again."
He sat on his haunches and studied the water, the water that seemed to have not a care in the world. The water whos sole mission was to just exist. Such simplicity. Adair smiled at it, thinking of those who he had met in his life, who seemed grateful just for that mission. So many memories.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

The silver wolf tilted his head in a curious manner as the other male laughed but he kept his mask on, a smirk curving up his lips as he waited to see what the older male had to say. He was actually quite calm and peaceful but when that, that old man shot him a warm fatherly, he crossed the line. But still he kept calm and waited, the smirk still dancing on his lips.

"I understand you're not one for talk, and from judging your lack of attention to another, I see you do not contain patience. You are are a wolf who studies. One who finds the intentions of others, and determines whether it may be beneficial to keep em around." Shadow laughed but still didn't answer. "You don't hold anyone close enough to depend on them, just incase they screw you over. Independence runs strong in you." Of course, he had survived because of it. "Keep at it. That is the one trait I never had as a young one. And that is another mistake I will never make again."

That old male was wrong, dead wrong. His siblings had been close to him and he had friends. He had Paar and Danica and Bazi..... but maybe he didn't trust them that much. He shook that thought away, it wasn't important now. He turned his icy gaze to the dark male and with the cool smirk still on his face, he cocked his head.

"Who made you my father, old man?" he asked softly, smirking at him. "I don't need your advice and your observations are wrong, dead wrong." he yawned. "Oh by the way, why aren't you dead on your journey here?" he asked, his tone amused as he gazed at the older male.

Adair watched the young males eyes, and in then danced the flare of anger. So serious. Yet at the comment he made to him, he watched as a flicker of consideration flashed in his sterling orbs, but it returned back to the cold steel color that it was. There was something there. Adair knew it. And again, he said nothing, using this as a learning experience for the better.

"Who made you my father, old man?"

Adair smiled at him, returning the tilt the smaller wolf before him, almost in a mimic, but genuine.
"No one did. I did not, say I was, nor do I wish I was, because I wouldnt have been able to raise you into the strong individual you are today. I would be proud to have you as a son, but thats not something I want. I would make a horrible father figure, anyway."

Adair chuckled a bit at his own honesty.

"I don't need your advice and your observations are wrong, dead wrong."

At this, Adair sent him another witty grin.
"Then dont take it. Its not as if you are forced to. I dont force anyone to do anything. Your life is your own, lad. I stated an opinion, in the same manner as you had. And your opinion is that I'm an old man. I myself, do not see me as old, but I see that you see me as old. Its not a problem to me."

"Oh by the way, why aren't you dead on your journey here?"

Adair was perplexed. Why would he be dead? Was there a reason he should be?
With confusion evident in his hazel amber eyes, he asked.

"Why would I be dead on my travels here?"
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"No one did. I did not, say I was, nor do I wish I was, because I wouldnt have been able to raise you into the strong individual you are today. I would be proud to have you as a son, but thats not something I want. I would make a horrible father figure, anyway." He laughed coldly at that statement, "Oh, I wouldn't think so. My father was the worse father in the entire world." he said in a pleasant tone, tilting his head to one side slowly, a smirk gracing his handsome features.

"Then don't take it. Its not as if you are forced to. I dont force anyone to do anything. Your life is your own, lad. I stated an opinion, in the same manner as you had. And your opinion is that I'm an old man. I myself, do not see me as old, but I see that you see me as old. Its not a problem to me." He laughed softly, half amused. "Hmm, okay. Although you are really old, many wolves would share the same opinion as me." he said, cocking his head as he gazed at the older male. An arrogant glint in his eyes, one that he purposely made although the older male wouldn't know it. It was too real.

"Why would I be dead on my travels here?" confusion evident in the male's hazel eyes. The sterling outrider laughed coldly, steely gaze glancing briefly at the creek before meeting the older male's eyes again. "You're old, aren't you?" he said, an icy smirk flashing across his face.

"Oh, I wouldn't think so. My father was the worse father in the entire world."

At least the boy had some chutz to admit that. Most would simply agree. This wolf... he was flexible. Adair nodded his head in a 'so-so' manner.
After the huge dark brown and hazeled brute heard of his company's opinion again on his age,
For the first and second time, Adair sent him a calm smile.

"Again, opinions. You have yours, I have mine. I don't consider myself old. My body says it's not old. It's just lazy. "
His grin widened at this, but Adair continued,
"And as for age, I would say I have a while more to go. A friend of mine I once knew, lived up p to 13. Seeing how I dont feel like shit yet, or even remotely halfway dead, that shows somethin, eh?"
This wolf... he was so swift to make another feel down, even when he had just meet them. Perhaps that was a defensive move of his. Adair's feelings stood unbuffeted.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"Again, opinions. You have yours, I have mine. I don't consider myself old. My body says it's not old. It's just lazy. " In Shadow's opinion, that male was old, really old. "And as for age, I would say I have a while more to go. A friend of mine I once knew, lived up to 13. Seeing how I dont feel like shit yet, or even remotely halfway dead, that shows somethin, eh?" He smirked at the male, a faint glint passing through his silver eyes.

"Only wolves that do not fight, that have no reason to live will be able to live up to thirteen years." he said softly, tilting his head slightly. "By the way, I still do not know your name. What is your name?" he asked, his tone light-hearted but tinged with ice. It was a test though, a test for the older male.

"Only wolves that do not fight, that have no reason to live will be able to live up to thirteen years."

Adair flicked his soft ear at a fly that had attempted to settle there.
The fellow in front of him believed in violence. Adair believed in peace. Peace was the harmony that brought wolves together. Not violence.

"Violence is not the way of wise, lad. Violence leads to issues that can only be shed by blood. Other times, its serious enough to kill a fellow. As someone who's done some.." A bit of sadness swifted threw his eyes, and vanished."..done some bad deeds in his life, i would think i got a bit 9f experience on my side."
Shaking his head, Adair swiftly recomposed himself back to his calm and situated demeanor.

"And my name's Adair. And you?"
Shaking his thick and silky darkly mane, Adair awaited the steel wolf's answer.
Last post from me! :)

"Violence is not the way of wise, lad. Violence leads to issues that can only be shed by blood. Other times, its serious enough to kill a fellow. As someone who's done some.." He laughed softly. "I was trained to be a warrior, had a dozen scars when I was just a pup. I never knew peace, only war and bloodshed." he said nonchalantly, flashing a smirk at the older male although a flash of sadness went through his sterling eyes.

He glanced around, deciding that it was too close to packs to make a safe pack and rose to his paws, dipping his head at the older male's direction. "I'm Shadow, it was nice meeting you, maybe we could meet again?" he thought of Adair as a worthy and loyal pack member and wondered if he was interested. "I should be going, goodbye." he said, giving him another smile before walking away.

( Same. :3)

"I was trained to be a warrior, had a dozen scars when I was just a pup. I never knew peace, only war and bloodshed."

This caused sadness to return to the brutes eyes. To do destructive methods to end a young pups childhood, to presume them for a life of fighting, of violence, of distance. Its no better than murder.

"I'm Shadow, it was nice meeting you, maybe we could meet again?"

Adair dipped his crown in acknowledgment. He knew he had no problem meeting this wolf again. Maybe he could teach him a lesson or two, when they met again.
The silver wolf turned and made his way to his own path, with Adair watching him until he disappeared. Then he turned, and took his own.
