For @Alphonse or @Serena, or both! And of course the parents can pop in as well.

Understandably when the late term pregnancy had been announced to the pack, Kipling had been wary of the news. It hadn't been anything against the pups, or their mother, or even their leaders who had made the final decision. But it was all the factors that came into bringing pups into the pack, especially so late in the year. Nonetheless, she was very fond of children, despite their squealing and whatever unpleasantness they brought with them it didn't compare to the other troubles older wolves could bring her.

For the first weeks, Kipling knew better to than to press too deeply into the family's space. Of course she checked on them, calling out one of the parents from a distance, to see if everything was alright, but otherwise she let them be. But now they were a big more durable, albeit still chunky fuzzy potatoes wiggling in the darkness, but their senses were coming in and they had to have some certain vague consciousness; though she could not remember so far had into her own childhood, so it remained a theory to be explored.

And today was the day she decided to carry out her hypothesis, coming towards the densite in the late afternoon. Instead of her just barging in, she dipped low to the ground about two or three feet away from the entrance of the den and chuffed a gentle greeting to announce her presence. As much as she would have loved to simply crawl her way inside, instead she was polite enough to sneak a peek and try her luck, ears pricked forward in the chance she might hear from the small squeakers inside.

He wriggled as a faint sound reached his ears, waking him from his precious sleep. The little Fantôme twisted and turned trying to roll over to the sound. He screeched loudly as he wriggled on the floor of the den, he fell on his belly and whimpered loudly, blue eyes wide open as he looked around the dark den. Who had made that strange noise? What was that strange scent?

The dark Fantôme wriggled as he tried to turn his head to look over at the spot of light where the strange sound and scent came from. He wanted to snuggle next to his mother and sister and sleep but he also wanted to see who was this strange thing. It wasn't the voice that he had grown familiar with, that spoke every night and gave squishy baths.

He screamed again, wanting someone to notice him, wanting to know whoever this thing was that had the strange voice and scent. He couldn't seem to push himself over to the entrance, wide blue eyes blinked at the patch of light as he rolled over onto his back and waved his paws in the air. As if that would draw attention to anyone.

At 17 days The pups eyes would open and they would almost be starting to hear much better. here is the puppy guide I go by
But Ferdie Von Pelt is worse then an over protective mother on Sept 10 he will introduce them to the pack and ask for baby sitters But for now he's going to be a PITA

Ferdie had been napping in the den, giving Erika a break since the pups could now eat small meals of meat, though she'd be due back soon since their main nourishment was still her milk.

The smallest movements woke him, and he lifted his head groggy from his nap the pups scream can next and he got to his feet quickly and closed the gap between him and his son. His leathery nose found Alphonse and gently wuffing upon the tiny pups belly he murmured calm young one, one day soon you will be allowed outside, for now, grow strong My Son there will be lots or things to do and see soon.

Ferdie shifting and placed himself between the Den mouth and the pup and Kipling. he could not fault her for trying to get a peek he would do the same. Though not aggressive his expression was rather stern.

Kipling. I've been meaning to ask you about Fang. He tail lay beside Alphose on the floor of the Den as he kept his brutish form squarely in the entrance.

Warm delight radiated from her chest at the sound of the attention hungry cry, enthused and inspired she crept a step forward and was immediately intercepted. Light disappointment sank the buoyancy of her excitement, but her gaze remained vivid. And since her eyes could not meet Ferdie’s they looked elsewhere, squinting down into the darkness so that she could just barely make out the pup’s tiny squirming figure behind her alpha.

Trying desperately to make out some features, how dark his pelt was, if his ears were coming up, had his eyes opened at all at this point, or was he a late bloomer, she really couldn’t make out anything. Not with the alpha’s shoulders crowing the narrow entrance, and blocking the way. A quiet sigh spilled from her mouth, and lifted her head at the question, coming to attention although she did not show much gusto for the subject matter.

“Alright.” She answered brows rising, “What about Fang?” While there was much to say, trying to keep the mood light, especially around the children—they wouldn’t understand but a heated discussion would surely stir them for the worse—she leaned back to see what it questions her leader had been left with. If by bad luck he'd gotten to talk to Fang first, then she was loathed to find out how misinformed he was.

The dark Fantôme rolled over onto his back, his paws waving in the air as the light vanished, covered by the voice's body. He whined loudly, wanting to go and see what the strange light was but an unfamiliar voice chased the thoughts away. Blue eyes widened innocently as he gazed at the pelt blocking the entrance, trying to see through it, trying to see who the strange voice belonged to.

He screeched loudly, wanting the attention of the familiar low voice, he wanted to play and explore but the two adults didn't seem to want to play. In fact the mood seem to darkened and even though he didn't know what was happening, he didn't like the fact that nobody was in a happy mood, that nobody wanted to play.
