@Keith I feel as if I have watched too much Investigation Discovery...if you're familiar with the channel then you know its all about murders and stuff. @ - @

The anger he felt towards Cara's deposition kept swelling. Though he tried his best to calm down, it kept growing. He wasn't sure why. Perhaps it was the fact that Ptarmigan continuously insulted Cara and the previous management. Or maybe he felt as if he failed Jinx and Lecter. Or he was feeling like a slave, a sheep even as Viggo and Andrus, Ptarmigan's followers, combed the valley. Whatever the case, he was seething mad and no amount of animals he tortured and killed would help settle him.

He thought of the only thing that could really sooth him. Killing a wolf. A morbid way of calming down, but to him it was effective. While he killed other animals for fun and as a stress-reliever, he found that killing or harming one of his own kind was best. That is what he did after his family was discovered and killed, and it made him a lot more manageable.

The Beta already knew who to get rid of: Keith. The annoying brat had already lost Cara's intrest, and he did not seem to talk to anyone else, so he would not be missed. If anyone did ask, he would have a cover story: we were hunting by the river. He tripped, hit his head, and drowned as we chased something. His body was washed away.

The plan complete, he went to find the young Theta, his maniacal plan set.

Long post is long... >_>
Sorry for the wait, you must be hating me right now :(
EDIT (1/22/2015): Removing tables.

For some reason, the young wolf who had once been the life of the party came to be an outsider in a pack where he couldn't seem to come around to talk to anyone. Only cara seemed to have a slight interest in the handsome boy and he had already made more enemies than friends in the pack. Kaname was a pain in the ass, he kept bossing him around and the insubordinate yearling hated the fact that the beta had put him in his place, right below him. His neck was still sore from the little slip they had the other day, even though his skin had healed without issues, maybe he was being a little over reactive about it, a whinny little girl...

The silver yearling hadn't been able to come around to tell Cara about his feelings for her, and he decided that if he didn't do it fast Kaname would take that away from him too; so he got up and came out of his tight den to search for his Queen. Though covered by the annoying scent of the usurper bitch, the sweet scent of the rightful leader was all over the place. Intending to trail her, he came across an awful stink he recognized, in fact it was one he'd never forget; it was the stink of the one and only Kaname, his beloved leader.

It had to be some kind of curse upon him, every time he intended to see his muse again this jerk had to stop him somehow. The young wolf lowered his head, now used to the fact that he was superior and it was of no use to being rebellious in his presence, he had learned it the hard way. He skidded his advance to a halt and pressed his ears back in respect to his Beta. His tail pointed down in a relaxed and respectful manner. "Kaname" he greeted with a pint of disgust in his voice, "Even though I love randomly running into you we should arrange a date, you know... Make it formal..." Disdain in his sarcastic words.

The white male approached him with the appropriate respect a subordinate should show to a Beta, but he knew Keith was annoyed about it. But Kaname didn't care. The boy wouldn't have to worry about it for much longer. Kaname snorted softly. "Perhaps the next time we meet, Keith. But if you're up for it, I would like to invite you hunting again."

Keith would not reject him, that was for sure. His neck was still scarred from the Beta enforcing his authority upon him. And Kaname would give him another scar if he didn't. "The Heartwood, this time?"

The Dark beta snorted at the Keith's comment, but it didn't amuse the silver boy. He smirked in response but went back to his serious and annoyed grin. not Surprisingly for the silver boy, his Beta invited him to go hunting again; Off course the Beta wanted to go hunting with him, he couldn't resist the pleasure of humiliating the scarred boy even further, could he?

"I don't know Kaname" he said with mistrust, "Are we gonna have one of our little chats again?" he said sarcastically as he sat down on his haunches and curled his tail around him. Keith was no moron, he knew Kaname was up to no good if he was so cordially inviting him to do "pack-mate stuff", but unfortunately for Keith there was little chance that he could refuse to go, it was the Beta he was talking to.

"Chats"? Oh they were going to have more than just a chat. They were going to have a full-blown conversation in a few minutes. The assassin gave Keith a withering glance before speaking again."I'm getting a second look at your hunting skills, Keith." He said with a tone in his voice that made it seem like he was a bit offended by Keith's sarcasm.

"For pack hunts and all that. It makes it easier if we know what everyone's strengths and weaknesses are." He already knew one of the northern wolf's flaws; lack of awareness. The idiot wasn't paying attention to where he was stepping. They didn't need fools like him in Ouroboros, that was for sure...

Sorry this is so bad... >.<

The Beta declared he was getting "a second look" at his hunting skills... Was he being tested now? The Full moon had already passed and his probation was over, Jinx said so herself. Keith didn't like the situation, so he lifted his head to look him in the eye but kept his ears and tail low to let him know it was no challenge. He wanted to see if his words were truthful even though he knew he didn't trust the dark Beta at all.

There was definitely no way out for the silver boy to get out of this one. Kaname wasn't asking Keith to go with him, he was demanding it to. "I'll go..." he said reluctantly, "It's not like I got another choice, do I?" he said in an off hand manner. He gave a few steps forward willing to follow Kaname to the Heartwood, he promised he'd go back one day anyway...

With Keith's acceptance, as reluctantly and sarcastic as it was, finalized, Kaname turned towards the Heartwood, knowing that the Theta would follow him. It was his first time back to the bright woods after the pack had moved and it was apparent to him how the distance was a bit larger. But nonetheless, he got to the outskirts, a few minutes from the river.

The assassin looked back to Keith, then gestured forward to the forest in front of him. "Go ahead and track." He was only there to observe, at least on the outside. In reality, he was simply biding his time for Keith to get to the river. It would only be a matter of time...

The Theta followed as Kaname silently lead the way towards the Heartwood. The boy didn't say a word in the entire trip simply because he didn't enjoy talking to the brutish Beta, and so he just moved a few steps behind him carefully watching the older male's moves. There was no trust from Keith to be given to the bastard, and the silver boy knew this wouldn't be only a "hunting trip."

Keith knew the way to the Heartwood, he had followed it by himself in his exploration trip only a few weeks before. When they were but a few minutes away from the river, Kaname stopped and instructed the yearling to track. If this was a test he'd do it right and he'd leave nothing to chances. The last time he did the same thing he got his neck pierced and he hadn't enjoyed it, so he would not allow the slightest mistake. He nodded and lowered his head to sniff the ground a bit, he slowly moved to the right but he got nothing. Two steps forward and he got nothing, so he lifted his head to inhale the soft wind... Fresh air, Acorn, dry leaves. Bingo. He opened his eyes the instant he got the scent of a deer not too far from his location, so with his head low and long strides of his lean legs he moved silently towards his target.

The assassin watched silently as Keith sniffed around the area, searching for a trail. Within a few moments, the silver male found a trail, sneaking off towards his chosen prey. Kaname followed a bit behind, keeping his eyes on the white male and walking as quietly as he could.

He would not interfere with the young male's hunting, but stayed in the shadows....unless the deer ran in the wrong direction. He would charge at it then, but he would try to keep it as inconspicuous as possible. He already knew that Keith was suspicious of him, but he didn't need him being anymore wary than he already was.

I give you full permission to PP from now on ;)

The pressure of Kaname following him added to the fear of messing everything up were unbearable, but somehow the young Theta managed to track down his trail. He sniffed his way down to the river and when he was finally there he raised his head to see a young doe right across the rushing water.

The silver yearling slowly placed his right paw in the water trying as hard as he could to make as little noise as possible. Without taking his glowing white eyes off of his target he moved his left paw forward and after hesitating for a second he dipped it in the water too. He checked the doe once again and it looked like it hadn't noticed the silver boy's presence. He was already halfway across the river, he had the wind on his favor dragging his scent down river along with the current, and the little noise he made was covered by the rushing sound of the river.

As Keith walked closer to the water, Kaname increased his step size. It was subtle, no one could really tell, but gradually, he was getting closer and closer. By the time the silver male's paws hit the water, Kaname was a pounce away from him. He kept the distance until Keith was halfway through, and that was when he delivered his strike.

Darting swiftly into the water, Kaname pushed the silver male into the water, quickly pouncing on top of him to hold his head under the river. Nearby the deer fled, lucky to be alive for the moment. Meanwhile the assassin was focused on keeping the yearling under the rushing waters, putting all of his strength into keeping him still...

A bit of PP if you don't mind. (I'll put the table later >.<) last post from me, thanks for beating my boy once again <3 :o

The silver boy was about to give another slow step forward when the weight of the Beta tackled him like a buffalo pulling him down under the water. It was so sudden that he didn't have a chance to defend himself, he just struggled to take his body out of the suffocating strength of the beastly Kaname. It was to be expected. The circumstances in which he had been dragged out of the Ouroboros were a hint he should have paid more attention to, but he was so determined to prove his worth that he ignored the fact the Kaname was already his enemy.

The struggles became aggressive and wild, the young Theta pushed hard with all his four legs and for a second his head lifted enough for him to take a breath, but yet again, the bigger and more experienced beast pushed his head with an unmeasurable strength and smashed his head with a rock. Blackness. He wasn't struggling now, but the Beta still held his unconscious body underwater with the strength of a bear. The water soon started to slowly drag stripes of red with its current, and the silver boy laid still giving the little doe another day to live.

The boy fought back, though the surprise of the attack gave him a huge disadvantage. Kaname already had enough momentum to bowl him over, so all he had to do was pin him down. The assassin hissed as Keith's head came up for air. Pushing hard, he smacked his head against a rock. It had the desired effect; Keith's struggles ended, and blood trailed down the river.

Satisfied, Kaname released his hold on the male, smirking smugly. "No need to worry about Cara, I'll be taking care of her." He sneered before pushing the limp body down the river, leaving as soon as it disappeared out of sight.
