Adair had seen so many lands. Some were gorgeous, others were destroyed, but this land he currently trotted through gave him a sense of being one with nature. Such an open area, this meadow. It was delicately dotted with flowers he had not seen before, with a steady and constant breeze that ruffled his dark brown and light hazel touched fur in a soothing way. Such a beautiful place, this lovely meadow was.

Adair sat back to back, with an old oak that sat alone in the pasture. With a sigh of content, the aging hessian, closed his amberized hazel orbs, finding peace in the murmuring of the wind, the dancing of the grass, and the scent of life that accompanied the two muses that softened his heart to the world.
i'll use this as a naturalist thread if you don't mind

If there was something the peppered Kappa believed in firmly more than in the secrets of the stars, was on the gospel preached by Mother Nature. He had shown interest in the skies since he was a child, he was often described as spacy or fidgety because instead of spending his early days running and play-fighting he would hide from the loud bellows of his father and brother and watch the clouds as they rolled across the sky in a synchronized ballet.

And though there was no doubt the spectacles on the sky were his favorite he also enjoyed the beauty of the lands, particularly flowers. He didn't like it enough to persue the trade of Healer he found it to be an interesting hobby.

Now, as he walked slowly through the meadow nearing the Duck Lake he craned his head to sniff the delicate plants, filling his nostrils with the intoxicating perfume of their petals.

(Of course, not a problem at all. :P. And im sorry I took so long. Chores suck.)

Adair heard the silence of a once vocal bird in the further part of the meadow. Instead of the fade off that the robins did when they were content, this one silenced itself abruptly. Then it sounded its warning call, and after openeing his eyes, he pinpointed the robin that sounded its alarm, as it flew off to a safer location, closer to another tree filled habitat.

Watching the bird showed Adair that there was another living soul nearby, and judging from the robin, a predator. Was it another bobcat, as his furry little friend was, or perhaps another wolf? A cougar? So many possibilities.

So to sate his curiosity, the hessian managed to climb to his massive fours, and head in the location, where he believed a lake to be, if he was correct in his landmark pin pointing.
that was actually super fast :0 haha

His coal black nose roused the petals of a small daisy as he inhaled its sweet fragrance. Then when the bird's call flooded the calm air, he lifted his chind and looked around, he doubted another predator would dare to bother him in the middle of the meadow but one could never be sure. His ears moved in the base of his skull like radars, searching for any source of sound that might give away the position of his companion.

In the distance he saw a wolf cloaked with a dark coat padding calmly through the meadow. Even if he was not dangerously close to the Swiftcurrent's borders, the peppered male would like to know his buisness around the lands. He stepped away from the precious flowers and trotted to intercept the male, his tail and neck always kept at a neutral position.

"Good afternoon" he called to him while he awaited for the male's response to his greeting.

( Im so dead tired. x_x)

"Good afternoon"

Adair dipped his hazel touched silken head to the slightly smaller but age equivalent male. He seemed to be of a gentle sort of spirit, in a such likeness of a breeze..a soft but hidden strength holding breeze.

"G'day to you, friend. How are you?"
Adair asked in his typical smooth and deep voice, that gave him the nickname of 'Adair the Calm'. He gazed at the male infront of him with a kind look that spoke of humble tones in the amber hazelized orbs.

The peppered male appreciated the other's civilty when approaching him. His eye lids closed slowly over his deep amber eyes before answering to his greeting. He had taken a moment to scan the male's appereance, even if he was not to let himself be fooled or influenced by the outside he wanted to commit his face to memory, as well as his name when it was given.

"I'm very well, how about yourself?", he barked while tracing the dark outline of the ruffled hairs along his chest and back. He didn't give any hints of being a threat or carrying the intention of evil, chances were it was just another traveller that had come to appreciate the beauty of the flowers.

"Where have you come from?" he asked while letting his muscles relax and his tail fall into a rythmical pendulum-like movement.

"I'm very well, how about yourself?"
spoke the darkened aged male before him.

Adair's common gentle smile arose onto his maw. With the same soft spoken deep voice, he replied.
"I am well. I am helping a friend discover new territory, and when that is done, I will pack up and leave with him. Whenever he wishes to go, I'll be there with him."

Adair tilted his head at the bi colorated hessians next question. Not that he was confused, for he was throughly content in this companion's presence.

"Where have you come from?"

"Up north of here..quite north, but still in a foresty area. Not artic north, far too cold for an old brute like me." Adair chuckled a bit.
"I came from a very spruce wooded area..cold, but not very frozen. It was in the pack of The Forsaken that I was born into. Very cozy, it was. My name is Adair, Adair Erïksőn. Who may you be, friend?"
asked the dark brown and hazel silked hessian.

Galileo's eyes lit up with interest as he mentioned the discovery of a new land. Being an explorer at heart he was curious to know where this place was, but he was uncertain the other would give such juicy information so willingly. That, however, didn't stop the man from trying. "A new beginning? May I ask where such place is?" he asked with all the tranquility of the world. As long as the new pack he spoke of didn't neighbour of threaten the Creek, he saw no urgency to mention it to Bazi. He was asking more out of his own curiosity really.

The other man answered his question in a way he had not really though of. While the peppered male had intended to find the location the man had travelled from Adair responded by narrating his origins. "Pleased to met you Adair, but I meant which pack do you run with? Currently of course" he barked, reformulating his initial question.

"I am Galileo, proud member of Swiftcurrent Creek" he barked with a smile, not knowing that the friend he spoke of was also/or had been a member of the Creek.

"Ah, I see,..I do apologise. I'm not too bright on my fours, today," murmured the hessian.

"I am of a pack that is in its infant stage of development, at this current time. It's name is Noctisardor Bypass. It is led by Shadow, who was once a Creek member."

Dipping his crown to the introduction of his name, Adair acknowledged the pleasure.
"Aye, it's a gift to meet you, friend. "

The brown brute lowered his lower half onto his well muscled hinds. This male, he was quite a nice fellow. Perhaps he could form a bit of a bond with him, get to be a friend maybe then, could Creek and Noctisardor be on pleasant terms, though they were not influenced by eachother.

Adair wrapped his lush silked tail around the base of his paws.

"And the new beginning I spoke of...it lies with Shadow. He is the Alpha of the young pack. And I intend to have a new life, and even at the ripe age of 4, I do hope I am allowed a fresh start by his side. "

Looking off into the direction of the path where he traveled to come to the meadow, Adair gazed to where Noctisardor lay. It was a haven, yet a forbidden thing, to only be allowed access to its riches through the approval of its ruler. He was grateful for such an opportunity, and it showed in his hazelized amber orbs.

The peppered male then offerend a gentle smile that conveyed that there was no need to apologize, then as the other began to explain what new pack he was talimg about, the man pricked his ears in attention. When the mention of Shadow was made, Galileo had to do a double take in his mind. Was he referring to the same silver man with Outrider aspirations he had once met by another creek?

"Shadow?", he asked while furrowing his brow. The truth was that the older male had been completely unaware of the scandalous encounter between the man and Bazi. In fact he didn't even suspect that Danica had been sent out with no refund. "I'm sorry, is this Shadow silver in coloring by any casuality?" he asked still feeling dazzled by the news. He had never thought the boy that had been so worried to reinforce his loyalties would just part ways to make his own pack. Though there coild be a chance that the man spoke of another Shadow, after all it was a pretty common name.

He'd surely have to speak to Bazi later that day..

A bit of issue must have troubled the freckled man before him, for his face contorted a bit.
"Shadow?"

"Aye, thats the laddie."
Adair nodded his draped crown, in reassurance.
Was there a bit of an issue, between Galileo and his new Alpha?

"I'm sorry, is this Shadow silver in coloring by any casuality?"

More confusion beared the olden's face. This made Adair wonder if there was any history of bad blood between the two.
With a tilt of his head, the brute reponded.

"Ya, it's him. I know of no other Shadow throughout the land, besides him. He's quite a character, that kid."
Giving him a gaze that was innocent with curiosity, he inquired,
"Is..there something wrong with him? "

There were no hard feelings on animosity between the two --at least not at the moment. And though the idea of the man running off to start his own pack after having pledged himseld to Bazi seemed like a crazy idea he finally came to the conclusion that they were both speaking of the same man.

Feeling a bit antique and out of the Creek's gossip loop, Galileo made a mental note to ask more about what was going on, not only assume everything was fine because it looked fine."No. Not at all, he was --is-- a good kid; though I had no idea he ha left the Creek" he barked with his brow furrowed and his eyes dropping to the gorgeous dandelions and daisies surrounding their feet.

"Do you mind if I ask, when is this pack being stablished?"he inquired, wanting to know if they would soon see competition around the lands.

"No. Not at all, he was --is-- a good kid; though I had no idea he had left the Creek" spoke his company.

Chuckling, Adair added a note of sincerity to his remark.
"I had no idea he was of the pact until I had met him near the creek one day. He was quite a cold lad, so distant. Untrusting."

Taking his voice to a note of solemnity, Adair continued.
"But eh, who could blame him? Everywolf has a story thats impacted them, and its almost a gaff it they say they dont. But as for him, it could be a way he was made, or a way he was raised. It was not my business to pry, nor is it a preference of mine. I respect confidentiality, friend."

"Do you mind if I ask, when is this pack being stablished?"

"Its already alive, Galileo. Only a wee babe, but it's kicking."
Adair grinned at the reference, but gave the date of the packs birth.

"September seventh, was the date it was birthed."

It was hard to accept that the man's words were true, though there was no doubt in his mind they were talking about the same male now it was just bizzare how he had seemed to change so abruptly. When they had met he hadn't given any hints of wanting to leave. He had been worried that his loyalty was being questioned. Had Bazi questioned him after all?, he wondered as he laid eyes on the male in front of him.

No that wouldn't make sense, she was an Outrider too, she would've understood his passion. But then what was it? The million of different scenarios and idead buzzed through his mind like the bees did to the flowers around them. "Wow, some piece of news you've given me"he barked with a little shake of his head.

There were a lot of things for him to discuss and many to ask, so he thought it'd be good if they began saying their goodbyes.

"I wish you settle well, it was a pleasure to meet you" he barked with a polite tone. They were friends now but nothing could guarantee they wouldn't become rivals later on, especially with the harsh winter ahead. It was up to Bazi and Shadow whether to be enemies or not.

"Agreed, and I do hope all is well on your end, friend."
Adair rose to his fours, forgetting his size comparison to the male before him.
Casting a friendly warm gaze upon the fellow timer, Adair spoke to him again.

"I do hope we meet again. It's quite rare nowadays to recieve a conversation that does not end with blood, death, or hurt feelings. Good day, Galileo. "

Adair dipped his muzzle as a notification of a "farewell", almost in the manner of a nod, as he waited for the male's goodbyes.
