@Adair The Forsaken :) Shadow is east of Duck Lake and heading towards the hills. No need to match post length, this is just the description of the territory.

The sterling outrider had left the Creek early that morning, the sun barely rising over the horizon. Usually he went without a destination or purpose in his mind but this time he walked, determination coursing through his body. He began running, stretching out his limbs as far as they could go, arching his spine gracefully before withdrawing and repeating again. He covered good ground by the time the sun reached its peak. He looked around, noticing a small creek running by. He lapped at its cool waters, soon, he knew, he would find what he was looking for.

Night soon came and went and he continued on his travels. Tiredness coursed through the silver male's body but he ignored it, instead kept on walking and walking, day after day. He slept at night, sometimes in a burrow, sometimes on the grass, whatever place he felt was best and continued on his journey in the mornings. He fed on the fish on the creek and the rabbits that roamed the grassy plains that he was walking through.

It was about four or five days now but he still hadn't given up. He hadn't known that Teekon Wilds went so far and it had given him hope. Gaze filled with icy determination, he continued forward on steady paws and soon his efforts were rewarded. He stepped forward, gazing around in awe.

He stood in what seemed to be the beginning of the beginning. It was so beautiful that he basically stopped and just stared for a good long moment. After some time, the silver outrider finally began walking forward, paws sinking into the soft green grass that filled the grounds between the tall rich hills that surrounded the territory. He made his way up one of the smaller hills and gazed around. He noticed a herd in the distance, here, prey was plentiful. The place was dotted with small woodlands everywhere but the plains still dominated. A large winding river ran through the middle of the place and the tall hills helped shade some areas from the burning hot sun. Silver eyes turned to looked into the distance, spotting some mountains, they reminding him of his siblings. He was sure now, this was the place. The ashen male smiled genuinely for once, deciding to explore the vale.

He made his way through the meadow, the tall grass tickling his flanks as he moved through. Trotting to the river's edge, he drank from the rushing waters, licking the droplets off his lips as he waded into the cool waters, dipping his muzzle inside as he scanned the river's depth. Soon a rather stupid fish decided to wander towards him, a quick snap of his jaws and it collapsed in his mouth. He grinned, admiring the fish, it was larger than those at the Creek. Food and a fresh source of water, and plenty of prey. Eager to explore, he quickly finished off the fish, rose to his paws and began walking beside the rushing waters of the river.

( Mhmnk, gotcha. ^-^)

Adair sat in the spot where the hessian known as Shadow left him, in an almost unnatural hurry. He had a sense of determination in his silvery gaze.
Had he not previously stated that curiousity killed the cat?
Hopefully I dont die...after all...im NOT a cat, not that I know of. Adair barked a shallow laugh at his comparison. Suddenly he though of his bobcat friend he had made a few days ago, and pondered her living. He would have to visit her again.

Until then, he would see what Shadow was up to.
From memory, the hessian started down the trail he last saw the light smoked pelted wolf go, until scent needed to be followed for the rest of the trail. Opening his nares, he lowered his massive crown, Adair found his trail to head in a left sort or manner. Al the while, Adair tried to imagine out of all places, where could this male have gone with such purpose. Was their a lover who awaited him? Adair smelled no femmora on him.
Was there a family member?
Adair had no clue.. Plausible circumstance.

Typically, he would have just let the male to his own devices...but something about him caught the eye of Adair that hasn't been felt in such a long time.
It was that of reminiscent times. A de já vú, in a sense. Looking at the brute reminded Adair of one of the wolves that flipped him around for the better. His own self.

Adair followed the scent, and it began to become apparent that Shadow took longer strides. The paw prints were deeper, not as shallow as his calmer steps. They were also spaced out more, indicating that his previous company had gone from a steady lope to a full fledged run. This caused Adair to wonder what made the shadow wolf run. He was not being chased, for no other scents were in the area. There was also no falter or hesitation in these prints. He had a specific motive in mind. That posed to possibilities: Either he ran because he was close to his destination, or he ran because he wished to quicked the pace TO his destination.
His hunter years had been well chosen.
Adair began his own run, not to close as to lose Shadow's tracks, but long enough to double Shadow's length in strides.

He noticed how scarce the trees lining were beginning to be. Now only a few lined his path, wjere there were once many. This allowed a cleared view of Shadows paw prints, but soon that was lost to Adair through the rising height of the grass. Now if Adair slowed and looked for broken grass, that would give the outline of the prints, but the luscious grass seemed to spring right back up, even after Adair's massive steps.

Two days had passed, and Adair negan to feel his pangs of hunger kick in. That was enough to remind him to make a cache nearby. Adair stopped to look around, amd after making a mark in the dirt with his black clad paws to mark the scent trail of Shadow's last spot, he noticed how untouched the place around him was. It was so...open...and calm. Relaxing. A fat hare made its way to him, and within the second it took the hare to register him as a threat, it was dead, lying twitching in his muscular jaws.
So after his meal of large rabbit species, and almost endless amounts of some sort of fowl he could catch as easy as the rabbits, Adair got back on the trail to find Shadow.

He noticed the scent was stronger near the little trickle of water he found at the base of a hill. Did he slow down? Had he found his destination? So far away from the others?...
Adair fould understand his desire for solitude. This was a version of paradise, however...and Adair had smelled no other wolf out here. So what was Shadow doing so far out?

It seems as if he is walking besides the water...maybe admiring? , questioned the king sized hazel touched spruce brown hessian. Then after noticing a few scattered fish scales across the pebbled edge of the widened stream, he looked up to the sound of faint paw placements. Adair had found Shadow. With a light smile, he saw the dot of a built yet lean silvery dot in the distance.
Adair went from a light walk to a steady lope, catching up with his previously met counter wolf.

"Hello, Shadow." Adair sent a smooth deep bark to the wolf who was a few meters ahead of him, to give him the heads up he deserved.
xD maybe not

The sterling outrider gazed around, he couldn't believe that he was really here, the territory that he had dreamed off was right here in front of him. This was the place, here he could have a new beginning, create a new beginning. This was his he thought possessively as he gazed around, admiring this place, then a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts but he wasn't angry. Because he recognized him. Adair.

The ashen male turned around at the words "Hello, Shadow." He dipped his head to the other male, a faint smile gracing his features. "Hello, Adair. Did you follow me here?" his tone was pleasant, glad that he had followed him. Perhaps the older male would become his first pack member, if he chose to. Adair was older, wiser than him, he might be able to advise him.

"Beautiful isn't it?" he said to Adair softly, his gaze meeting the older male's hazel amber eyes with his own platinum ones. He did not tell the older male what he was doing here because he would ask sooner and later and that would be a good time to explain and ask if he wanted to join his pack. He would establish it here, this place would soon be his.

( Hahaha I was trying to help estab your awesome lands. xD)

Adair was pleased yet surprised at the younger wolfs change in demeanor. Such a swift difference than what he was before. But regardless, Adair was happy at the now pleasant company. Dipoing his massive craninium to the younger wolf as an acknowledgent, Adair smiled gently at the smaller lupine.

" Did you follow me here?"
Adair nodded.
"I have. I was a tad confused as to your hurry. I.. wanted to make sure you had safe travels on yer side, lad. "
He was reluctant to admit his worry for the younger wolf. He rather not lie to him. There was something that drew him to this Shadow. He already knew he reminded him off his former young self. But maybe it was the ambition he saw in his sparkling steel eyes. Adair had no clue.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

Standing in the middle of the cool breezy natural relaxing area, Adair had no other choice but to agree. Untamed wilds, flourishing lands...it would be amazing to live here. Who would own it, though?

" Aye, it is. I've seen no other beauty in my travels, Shadow. "
xD

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"I have. I was a tad confused as to your hurry. I.. wanted to make sure you had safe travels on yer side, lad." The sterling outrider smiled, an amused look crossing his eyes. "Why? We've only just met." he replied softly, turning around to gaze at the lands again. They stood in the middle of an open meadow, tall grass up to their flanks. Green hills surrounding them, offering them protection. The river flowed beside them, if he followed it it would probably lead him to the center of the territory.

"Aye, it is. I've seen no other beauty in my travels, Shadow." He began walking, flicking his tail, asking Adair to follow him. "Perhaps your travels have come to an end. Would you like to settle here?" he asked with a tilt of his head, meeting Adair's hazel amber eyes.

It was late afternoon and the sun was casting faint glows over the land, it was truly beautiful. Even more beautiful than the Creek. There was so much this land could offer him and he was ready to accept it. The place brought a sense of calmness and peacefulness that no other land seemed to be able to offer him. The quietness only broken by the songs of the birds.

"Why? We've only just met."

Adair's maw lifted into a smile that seemed to liven his calm demeanor, but he said nothing to respond to that question, besides "Reasons."

"Perhaps your travels have come to an end. Would you like to settle here?"

This captured Adair's attention. He kept a face of calm curiousity rather than the wave of happiness and satisfaction he felt internally. Was this what Shadow wanted? To rule this land? Was he implying he didnt mind Adair running this land alongside.

Only way to find out...

"I wouldn't mind settling here. Nice and plentiful. The temperatures are gorgeous. It's not a gaff. This is real. And to live here would just top the cake."

Adair turned his genuinely attentive warm gaze to the smaller wolf.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

Adair smiled, "Reasons.". The silver wanderer laughed again, "Reasons, huh?" he continued walking through the tall grass, out of the corner of his eye spotted a large rabbit, he crouched down and began stalking the rabbit. As soon as he deemed close enough, he leaped and a moment later, it lay still in his jaws. He rose up, tail wagging, a small smile on his face.

"I wouldn't mind settling here. Nice and plentiful. The temperatures are gorgeous. It's not a gaff. This is real. And to live here would just top the cake." The ashen male flashed a faint smirk in Adair's direction. "It must be your lucky day, I plan on establishing a pack on these lands. What do you think?" He hoped that Adair would join the pack, then he would just need to find a few more members to get it started.

And soon, he knew, the pack would be flooding with members. He gazed around the new territory, a smile gracing his lips for a faint moment as he moved into the shade that the towering hill provided.

"It must be your lucky day, I plan on establishing a pack on these lands. What do you think?"

Adair's heart began to beat with a happiness that was unexpected.
He would be joining Shadow. He knew he would.
He watched him holding the rabbit in his mouth, and reflected the smirk back at Shadow.

"Let's do it"
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"Let's do it" The sterling outrider smiled faintly at Adair. "Will you pledge yourself to me and come to me when the time comes?" he asked the older male. He had to be sure that Adair would come when he claimed these lands. He looked around again, this was truly the right place to establish his pack. In winter, prey might not be as plentiful but if he learnt about the migrations, they would live well.

The sun warmed his back as he gazed around and began trotting slowly forward, following the river. He assumed that Adair was following, but if he wasn't, that was his choice. He would only come back to fetch him after he had arrived at the center of the territory. But if he was following, good.

"Will you pledge yourself to me and come to me when the time comes?"

Adair spoke with confidence filling his words.

"Aye, I will be at your side no matter it whether it be for life or death. I pledge myself te you, Shadow, amd whenever you will need me, I will be there for ya"

Adair watched him turn, following the river that he originally tracked him by, and just looking at it gave Adair ideas of fish caches and other meals that could follow suit. He didnt know anything of Shadows plans, but he decided to follow him with his travels.

So he did.
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"Aye, I will be at your side no matter it whether it be for life or death. I pledge myself te you, Shadow, and whenever you will need me, I will be there for ya" The sterling outrider nodded, a faint smile gracing his lips. He had gotten his first member, one that had pledged himself to him. "Good," he murmured softly, still walking beside the river.

Not long later, the river began widening, the waters flowing into a large lake. "This is the center of our territory," he told Adair. He had said our because now that Adair had pledged himself to him, he had became a pack member.

( Commencing project 'Join Lone Wolf'. xD)

After Adair pledged to Shadow, he noticed the wolf a bit at ease more than what he was originally.
He must be a bit happier now, the dark brown and hazel wolf concluded.

After he was informed of the huge center of the land, he pondered names.

"What will the name of it, be?"
He asked, inquisitively.
xD
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"What will the name of it, be?" The silver male gazed silently around before answering softly. "Noctisardor Bypass, it is a mix of two words in my native tongue. Night fire." he turned to gaze at Adair. "What do you think?" he wasn't going to change his decision even if Adair didn't agree, he merely wanted his opinion.

Suddenly, his muzzle dipped into the water and snatched up a fish. It wriggled in his jaws then fell limp. "This place is full of prey."

Noctisardor Bypass"

Adair thought upon this. A Name of respectable length, with a strong finish. Pleasing to the ear as well. He nodded his cranium in appreciation.

"A fine suited name for this land, it is, friend. "

He watched his fellow hessian snag a fish out of the clean, clear, non tainted waters, with ease.

"This place is full of prey."

"Indeed it is."
At the thought of his making a cache of the food, he added that.
"I already made plans for a potential rabbit cache, but there probably wont be a need for it, as much as there is. But if there are sick and dying, along with cold times, harsh winters, I will make caches of all varieties."
Last post from me. :)

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"A fine suited name for this land, it is, friend." He nodded, even though Adair probably didn't know the real meaning of the name, it sounded good and that was probably what prompted Adair to like it. "I already made plans for a potential rabbit cache, but there probably wont be a need for it, as much as there is. But if there are sick and dying, along with cold times, harsh winters, I will make caches of all varieties."

"Good idea, I'm glad you decided to follow me." he murmured softly to Adair. At least he had one loyal member by his side. Adair did not seem to be the type of wolf to just abandon someone that he had sworn loyalty to. "Come on, lets explore more of our new home."

he smiled at his new follower and began making his way forward through the long grass.
