Turn back...go home....lead them elsewhere...turn back...go home...

Over and over it repeated. With each step he took away the panic grew, the realisation he had nowhere else. What was he going to do? What did someone like him do? Where was there for a Nightwalker raised young man? A man of shadow and pain and bad deeds. He'd began running and bypassed Moonspear tearing through the mountains until his limbs shook and he spotted the entrance to what appeared to be a cave. Breath ragged he entered ignoring the various random smells of wolves and collapsed to the floor staring up at the beams of sunlight that shone through the ceiling and scooted until he pressed into the walls hiding himself in the shade and staring from the den not much unlike a frightened child would. There was no home for a monster.

Was told I could take this <3

Valour had told him that he could follow. That they didn't have to split up. So it was confusing when Valour had started running, visibly panicked, and vanished from sight. Luckily, Clarence was a decent tracker, though he had not been hot on his heels or anything. Maybe there were things that Valour needed to figure out on his own - feelings he had to feel.

Eventually, he came upon the cave, sliding in and looking around until he spotted the other boy. His ears lowered and he crept forward, eyes round with concern. "Valour?" he asked quietly, tipping his head to the side. "Are you alright?"
Before he'd had very long to dwell in the silence there was a shadow at the mouth of the cave. Lifting his head Valour prepared to get to his paws his heartbeat racing before the spotted form of Clarence came into view and he exhaled slowly. Always concerned his friend was quick to ask if he was alright probably because of how he'd taken off from the woods like a bat out of hell. "I don't know what i'm supposed to do with myself. I'm not cut out for some soft easy going pack" he said admitting his fears in a quiet voice, silver eyes sliding to the side and then down to the floor as he rest his chin upon his forelegs. "All I'm good at is hurting others. Literally. Fighting. Maiming. Killing" he continued lifting a somber gaze to the wolfdog's eyes "Where does a monster, even one who's put it behind him go?"
