For Shadow! Sorry it's short, lol. Next one will be better.

The trip seemed lengthy, but the days passed by quickly with Shadow at her side. She enjoyed their time alone now that awkwardness was out of the picture, though Paar still felt badly for leaving Swiftcurrent. It would thrive and flourish without her, however, she was certain; despite her bad decisions, Bazi was a good wolf with a lot of potential. The respect Paar had for her was still there, and she would not be forgotten.

"What are we to call it?" the two-toned Frostfur asked, briefly looking up to seek his gaze.
Its fine xD Also can you post once more in the thread by duck lake? <3

They had arrived, the silver male dipped his head to drink by the large flowing river, licking the droplets as he raised his head again and looked around. This place hadn't changed at all from the last time he had came here. The river was shaded by a grassy hill while some of the other hills were filled with dense woodland. He sighed and slumped down onto the grassy ground, gazing up at Paarthurnax, a smile on his face.

"This is so comfortable" he said, yawning as he did so. When she voiced her question, a faint smirk graced his lips. "What are we to call it?" He had already decided, having watched dusk settle on this territory. "Come sit down for a moment," he said with a smile.

"I have seen the sunset in this place and it is beautiful. I've decided to name it Noctisardor Bypass." he gazed at her, adoration evident in his eyes. "Its two words combined in my native language, it means night fire. What do you think, Paar?" he spoke her name softly, with love in his voice. He was finally able to show how much he cared about the crimson female.

When they arrived at the bounderies of the land that Shadow wished to claim, Paarthurnax paused to take in the view. A glimmering creek broke through the open plain, surrounded by rolling hills that occupied hundreds if not thousands of proud evergreens. The meadow was vividly green, dotted with wildflowers and no doubt home to many rabbit warrens, and she shot her to-be mate a gleeful glance as she hurried forward to catch up to him.

Deeper into the territory, the ashen male quickly had his full of water and returned to her to slump down on the grass beside her. Paar crooned something akin to a purr as she moved to lower herself not-so-gracefully, and rolled onto her back to expose her feathery white undersides. She reached out and batted a dainty paw against the alabaster of Shadow's chin as he continued to explain the radon behind his naming of the territory, before flipping onto her side with her forelimbs draped over his own, meekly pinning him in place.

"I like it," she said, catching the new way that he looked at her, and she eyed him mischievously. "You unknowingly named it for me. My mother named me after a dragon from stories her own mother told her as a pup. Also 'cause I'm red hot and breathe fire, obviously."

"Hey!" he shouted as Paar's forelimbs draped over his own. Flashing a smirk at her, he twisted to his side and headbutted her gently, wiggling as he did so. "I like it," she said, "You unknowingly named it for me. My mother named me after a dragon from stories her own mother told her as a pup. Also 'cause I'm red hot and breathe fire, obviously." He laughed again, gazing at her with amusement in his eyes. "Ha, really? I can believe the red hot part but about the fire breathing part.... Besides I don't think I named it entirely after you. Am I not the night?" he joked playfully.

"You like this place?" he asked her, wanting to know if she was satisfied with what he had discovered. He didn't want her to be unhappy when she had just arrived in her soon-to-be home. But really, what was there to hate about this place, it was teeming with prey and it was beautiful. He would have to take her to sea the sunset one day.

"The night?" Paarthurnax eyed her suiter, her vivid eyes scanning his greyscale features before lingering on the platinum of his eyes. She realised that they were polar opposites in appearance: Shadow's coat and eyes made of cool sterling hues, while she wore the colours of a warm sunrise. Night and day. She smile at him, affection dominating the expression she shot him, "I suppose you could be the night, moon of my life."

The crimson beauty leaned in to nibble thoughtfully at the tufted base of her companion's ear as he asked her opinion on the territory he'd picked as the foundation of his pack. "So far, so good, " she said cheerfully with a thump of her russet tail. There was obviously much more to see, and she was glad for the creek that would serve as a reminder of Swiftcurrent and her brief time there. It was heavily forested which was a bonus, with additional shelter for the pack when Winter came around. "I'll have to scout out somewhere to store herbs for when resources are low, and will need to find where the best medicines are growing. And build a den for the pack. I'd love if we were all together in the cold season, as we had planned with Bazi." She swallowed then, still emotionally sore from her farewell with the pale queen. "And I'll find my own spot for a whelping burrow nearer that time."

"The night?" He smiled gently at her, surely she hadn't just noticed how entirely different the looked. He was covered in silvers, whites and blacks, his eyes a cold platinum silver while she, she was the total opposite. The light of his life. She smiled at him, affection visible in her expression. "I suppose you could be the night, moon of my life." He tilted his head and leaned over to kiss her on the cheek. "And you, you are the light of my life." he responded softly.

He made a sound, similar to a purr as she leaned over to nibble at the base of his ear. He was glad that she liked the territory so far, at least she wasn't going anywhere just yet. He nodded slowly as she spoke about herbs and medicine but he stiffened when she mentioned the den for the pack, the one that they had planned with Bazi when they were still Creek members. He noticed her swallow and moved to press his flank against her comfortingly.

"Good idea, do you want me to help you find the herbs?" he asked her, "We'll do our best about the den for the winter," he murmured softly but froze for a moment when she said her next sentence. "And I'll find my own spot for a whelping burrow nearer that time." He relaxed a moment later, touching his nose to her cheek. "Soon, my love." they weren't yet official mates but to the young outrider, that was enough for now.

Although she loved her father very much, a large part of her resented that her mother alone had not been enough for him. Her parents had never been formally mated; they shared no surname, and all of Xerxes' children bore the those of their mothers. Now, with the idea of being mated to Shadow on a traditional sense and with the potential to rear a litter of her own, Paarthurnax was not sure which way their surnames would change, or if their offspring would inherit hers, his, or both.

It was easy to tell that the thought of becoming a mother was important to Paar. Having been unsettled through her first heart cycle, she had not pursued any potential mates despite her overwhelming hormones that made her yearn to reproduce. And now that the heart of Summer was fading gradually and the days were growing shorter, in the coming months she would find herself receptive once more. This time, she did not need to hold herself back. This time, she would have the stability of a pack to support her, and a duty as a wife.

"It's probably better that I seek them out on my own," she said gently, smiling apologetically. As much as she enjoyed her time with Shadow, searching for her herbs to store was something she always preferred to do alone. It was nothing personal, she simply enjoyed taking her time to scout the land, and it would be easier to create a mental map without the distractions of a companion. She felt him stiffen at the mention of finding the right spot for her whelping den, and she couldn't help but laugh. "Does the idea of being a father intimidate you?"
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"It's probably better that I seek them out on my own," she said gently, ah well he had his whole life ahead with her, this wouldn't be the last time he could spend time with her. "Alright, but you sure you'll be safe?" his tone half worried as he gazed at Paar. He was becoming extremely overprotective now, which was probably not a good thing for her. She would probably think he was annoying but that was him and nobody could change him.

When she laughed and asked him whether the idea of him being a father intimidated him, he felt himself heat up and muttered "A bit," he answered truthfully and kissed her on the forehead. Now he truly understood how love felt like, how he wished to be by her side every minute, every second of his life, to protect her and to love her. He wanted to be with her forever. "I love you," he murmured into her fur again.

He hoped that someday they could live together in peace in this place without troubles bothering them like how the Creek was operating now. Rivals with The Sunspire pack, kicking members out. He hoped that his pack would have a better future. His gaze wandered around as he looked at his soon-to-be home.

When he asked if she was sure if her safety, Paarthurnax shot her companion a look that read shut up, I'm a big girl and I can take care of myself. She smiled mischievously, not bothering to respond verbally. Her spirit was a free one; now that she'd pledged to devote herself to Shadow, did not mean that she had to sacrifice her independence.

Her smile did not falter when the platinum outrider announced his love for her, but she did not return those words. Paar did feel strongly for Shadow, he was hers, but she could not yet find the well to speak those three simple words that held such finality. She did not know the meaning of true love or how it was supposed to feel. Blushing, the red beauty ducked her muzzle and tucked herself against her companion to rest. "You'll make a fine Alpha, and an even better father. "
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

He laughed softly at the look she shot him, he supposed he was being overprotective so he simply sighed and settled down beside her, noticing her blushing at his words and ducking down, tucking herself against him. "You'll make a fine Alpha, and an even better father." He did not reply just yet, instead snuggled against her as his platinum gaze swung around the territory. A rabbit literally leaped by his nose slowly, he didn't bother catching it, mostly because he was too comfortable beside Paarthurnax but that was just another sign that he should settle here.

"You seem a lot more sure of myself than I am." he murmured quietly to the crimson beauty beside him and began lapping at her fur gently. She was truly a magnificent beauty and he was glad that she was his. "You will not leave me just yet will you Paar?" he asked her, wanting for her to say that she wouldn't leave him.

A gentle breeze relieved them of the burning heat of the sun, he resumed grooming his companion's pelt as he gazed around the gentle rolling green hills that surrounded them and the comfortable verdant green grass.

Finish here?

She exhaled softly. Shadow seemed so confident of many things: the vast territory he planned to claim, his choice to pursue leadership, his attempts at winning her affections. But when it came to the thought of his pups, he appeared wary. She wondered if he'd ever been involved in rearing the young of packs he'd previously been a member of, as she had done for Samarkand. It was not something Paarthurnax concerned herself with; the pups would primarily be hers to raise, while Shadow contented himself with duties of the pack.

He asked that she not leave him just yet, and Paar blinked curiously at him. Did he man right then, or... Always? Unsure, she went with the safer option, and presented to him her most winning smile. "You can't get rid of me that easily, " the russet medic said, though gathered herself to her nimble paws and shook her bio-coloured pelt. "But I can't wait to get started! Care to escort me on the grand tour?"
Yep! :)

<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

He supposed that it was his own fault he was nervous about raising the pups. It was just the last time he had raised them in his natal pack, they had gotten chased out, left to die and he knew that it wasn't going to happen again but that memory was etched into his head and he just couldn't get rid of it. He sighed inwardly, but brightened up as she flashed him a beautiful smile. "You can't get rid of me that easily," she said rising to her paws.

"But I can't wait to get started! Care to escort me on the grand tour?" He whined in protest at the lost of contact but he too rose to his paws and nosed Paar affectionately, adoration in his gaze. "Yep!" he said, a grin flashing across his silver face as he turned to look at the grassy hills in front. She would enjoy the tour.
