The brown fae had been wandering for what seemed like months, days had slowly begun to string together leaving her memory of the expedition into the wilds a blur of unfamiliar sights, smells and sounds. She found herself stepping along the damp edge of a small creek, tucked amidst the seemingly endless sea of flowers and grass. Each step pressed her aching paws into the loamy soil as the enchanting scents swirled around her. The chirps of small insects escaping their predator birds in the mid-morning sun breaking the otherwise silent stroll.

Blue eyes focused solely on the path in front of her, stepping one paw after the other as she contemplated her recent journey. Why she travelled was anyone's guess, where she came from was a more difficult question. To her it was irrelevant, she was here Wherever here actually was. The summer days were slowly beginning their fade into the first kisses of autumn, the sun still kept her warm enough to keep that even cool breeze that hinted at the oncoming season was almost non-existent.

The stranger tentatively sniffed at the air, she hadn't encountered any other wolves since she began her journey and was starting to fear the absence of them was a sign of a worse fate awaiting. Shaking her head at such dark thoughts she dropped herself to the dirt alongside the bank, one forepaw dropping into the water whilst she took a moment to rest. Seemingly alone for the time.
