The sterling outrider trotted down the hill and after stopping to gaze around for a moment, he began running towards the thick dense woodland he spotted in the distance. Stretching out his limbs, arching his spine before withdrawing and repeating again, it wasn't long before he reached the start of the thick treeline where he stopped to admire the forest. Although he hated its suffocating atmosphere, you couldn't deny the beauty in this place.

"What do you think?" he asked Adair. This forest should be able to feed the wolves of the Bypass and shelter them during winter, especially Paar since she came from warmer climates. Winter usually never bothered him but this time it did, he cared for Paar's well-being. He flicked his tail as he waited for his subordinate's answer.

Adair had followed Shadow, exploring the lands that would belong to his soon to be alpha, and matched his sprint to the thick spuce thickened woodlands, Adair kept up with him.
This land was quite a catch, and a bit of happiness sweeled within Adair at the young alphas desire to own it. He was quite pleased for him, at the choice.

"What do you think?"

Immediately, Adair's brain flew to the future of the potential pack.
Food, shelter, comfort.

"It seems as if prey could widely inhabit this forrest during the Winters, and if we can time and track their habits, we will always be able to locate them, especially during snow times, very easily, and rarely with any failure.

The spruces provide a very gracious amount of foliage and coverage. This forest will prove a respectably decent amount of land, incase of living material for dens or a sort of biome for growing herbs.

The ground through much snowfall and dropping temperatures will possibly freeze over, making it a light hazard, yet if a congregation of wolves reside here, the heat and constant use of the ground will prevent the frost from settling in this forrest. Also, potentially melting any snow that lands within thw forest will give the ground fresh groundwater, making as an excellent spot for possible herbs anf spices, grasses and flowers, or any other livery to spring. A wonderous abode for Healers, lad."

Adair turned a respectful luminous hazel gaze upon the silver lupine.

The aspiring Praetor listened as his subordinate spoke. "Paarthurnax would like it," he muttered absentmindedly, nowadays every decision that he made seem to relate to Paar in someway. "Follow me," he murmured and trotted into the thick dense woodland. Steady paws pressed against soft earth as he walked. Prey scents wafted towards his nose, perhaps this was indeed a good spot to spend winter in. Even if he loathed forests.

"Have you met Paar?" he asked his subordinate, turning his piercing platinum gaze to look at Adair's hazel amber ones. He wanted to know how Paar was doing, was she safe? He knew she would be annoyed if he followed her around but she probably would be even more annoyed if he sent Adair to do the job.

Following the grayscaled hessian, the wood sheathed brute nodded, saying nothing Shadow's first remark. That was their business. The darkness shrouded them as they made their way thrpugh the forestry.

"Have you met Paar?"

Turning to face the soon to be alpha, the 4 year old heard the slight change in the sterlings usually calm and well spoken voice. Was it worry? Adair felt the instinct to reassure the younger lupine of his mates wellbeing.

"Aye, I met the bonny. We haven't had a sit down, or a personal talk, but from what I saw, shes as delicate as a sakura blossom, and as gentle as a newborn butterfly. I fo feel as though she is in good health though. And if she is endulged in the Healers ways, she just may be grateful that you conserved this land, friend."

Adair turned to the horizon after giving Shadow another glance, and then his own life. Was he too old for such delicacies as a mate? Would they slow him down, or help him along his travels?
Shaking his silky mane, the hessian looked back at Shadow.

"Aye, I met the bonny. We haven't had a sit down, or a personal talk, but from what I saw, shes as delicate as a sakura blossom, and as gentle as a newborn butterfly. I fo feel as though she is in good health though. And if she is indulged in the Healers ways, she just may be grateful that you conserved this land, friend." The sterling outrider tilted his head slightly as he spoke, not really taken in what Adair was saying, his mind was on other things as he trudged through the forest.

"We're planning on getting the pack together in one big den for winter, what do you think?" technically it was Bazi's idea but did it really matter now? Here, he was the highest ranking wolf, he didn't need to submit to that young ivory female anymore. He was free to steal all her ideas.

"We're planning on getting the pack together in one big den for winter, what do you think?"

By the tone of the wolf's low voice, it was apparent what Adair had said went in one aud and out the other. He shook his head at the youth, but felt no irritance. The young sterling was preoccupied with other things. Adair was simply here to consort and earn his trades, helping build the pack, pitching in his part to help it grow.

Then he thought of Shadow's previously spoken sentence. A big den? For all of them? In a haven like this, there could be so many more.

"Well, id propose having a center den, for all of those who wish to sleep in the den. If they would like to sleep there, so be it. Perhaps that would be the central meet up and sleeping arrangements for the newer wolves? If others wish to sleep by themselves, maybe you could allow that of them?"

The hazel eyed wolf turned back to the platinumed one on his right.

"Well, id propose having a center den, for all of those who wish to sleep in the den. If they would like to sleep there, so be it. Perhaps that would be the central meet up and sleeping arrangements for the newer wolves? If others wish to sleep by themselves, maybe you could allow that of them?"
The sterling outrider nodded slowly, his pace steady as he trudged through the forest. "Good idea, I shall remember that, Adair." he replied, tail waving nonchalantly in the air, his head held high and ears pricked as he emerged from the dense treeling into a grassy clearing. Rocks rose from the sides of the large clearing, shielding anyone outside from the view.
He paused, eyeing the clearing with a calculating gaze. "This forest shall be called Ardentis Ignis." he spoke softly before his mind wandered over to the pack again. He knew that they would need a Beta to be in charge if he ever had to leave the Bypass and he needed someone that he could trust. He supposed he could appoint the Beta in a few months time when he got to know the Bypass wolves better.
"Good idea, I shall remember that, Adair."

Just the simple consideration of his idea, gave Adair a bit of peace.
He gave a little dip to the side of his head as a 'thank you' sort of gesture.
With that, he followed Shadow out of the patch of forest, and into a somewhat secluded and hidden high grassland, that had its own shape of a basin to it. It felt as though it were made to keep whatever was in it, out of sight from others. High swaying sweet grass, and untouched but fertile earth layed upon this ground. Magnificent.

"This forest shall be called Ardentis Ignis."

The 4 year old gave a nod to the silvered wolf. Then he wondered what its origin consisted of. So he asked.

"Now what does that name mean, Shadow?"
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

"Now what does that name mean, Shadow?" The aspiring Praetor flashed a smirk at Adair's direction. "Why don't you try to guess," he did not want to tell Adair the meaning just yet. He was the leader, he didn't need to tell him everything single decision he made, every single name meaning he chose.

He trotted into the clearing, the grass tickling the bottom of his paws as he walked, he breathed in the forest air and pricked his ear as the bird song rang through the forest. Life couldn't be any better.

Ah, a light little challenge. Acceptable. Adair grinned and followed Shadow, thinking upon the name he was told.
He didn't know much of the latin language. He only knew what his studies at the young age of 1 had revealed to him.

As he padded along, he thought of the only word that he knew most of all. Ignis. Words flashed themselves into Adair's head. Ignight. Ignition. Fire.

Ardentis. That was an active word. Not a cognate, but a verb. what does fire do? It moves. It cooks. It dances. It burns. It blazes.

Blazing Fire.

"Blazing Fire," murmured Adair to his soon to be Alpha.
"It means Blazing Fire.".
<style type="text/css"> r1 {color:#5e6d7c; font-size: 10px;} .r1box {background-color: #ccffffff; width: 500px; margin: auto; background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/y77SqPt.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; outline: 10px solid #477583;} .r1text {margin: auto; width: 370px; color:#2e5c8a; text-indent: 15px; font-family: rokkit; line-height: 15px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify; padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-top: 525px; margin-bottom: 30px;}</style>

He flashed his subordinate a brief smile when he figured out what the name meant but his mind was on other things and he didn't really care whether or not Adair knew the meaning. He sniffed the air, looked around the clearing, analyzing this place and remembering it before trudging out of the rock-walled place and deeper into the forest.

His tail rose an inch higher into the air as he walked, his sterling eyes gazing around the forest warily. He wondered whether or not Bazi or Scimitar would dare venture to the Bypass. Hopefully they wouldn't, he did not wish to fight yet.

( I have absolutely no idea what to do next in this thread, so my last one?)

Adair couldn't decifer what the Alpha had said in that brief smile, nor whether his answer was right or wrong. So his head blanked there, following Shadow, through the small but seemingly never ending forest.

And within himself, he felt at home, walking next to his leader, and taking on new lands, together.
