@Adair the Forsaken I know you wanted a thread with Kaname. :P

The Beta Male stretched, blue eyes flashing in the darkness. He had no reason to stay around Cara at night, she was quite fine, but he felt a strange need to. She was still vulnerable in his eyes. The assassin yawned, baring long white fangs slightly. He rose, eyes looking at the sky. It was dark blue, not the black of midnight. Almost dawn.

He walked into the valley, ready to find prey. Dawn was the best time to hunt, the prey was slower, still drowsy. But he was alert, even on a few hours of sleep. There would be easy hunting, if he could find the buggers first.

(i did, thanks! Especially considering his awesomeness:D )

Adair was surprised at his own ability to not be weary, throughout all the exploring he had done. New lands, New prey, New wolves, New experiences, New everything. Returning to pack lands, he almost had gotten lost, from his memory attempting to mislead him. Yet, he returned to the valley that was in the mist of the lands that were claimed by the pack he had recently become a member of. He still had yet to meet anyone, so with the patience that a 4 year old brute could have natually, he continued forward.

Suddenly his amberized hazel orbs had stopped dead on a shadow that was in the farthest reach of the valley,..not on the edges that were shrouded with trees, but still within the darkness that permeated the land. Did that shadow move? Was it still moving? Again, his aged orbs could be playing tricks on him.

There was no breeze that presented any help to the Dark brown and hazel hued wolf. In fact, there seemed to be no breeze at all..how unfortunate. That means he would have to go investigate the illusive shadows. Its not like he had anything else to do at the darkness before dawns light.
So Adair took his time to walk into the inky blackness, not knowing of Kaname's presence, or even of his existence.

It wasn't long before he sensed another presence nearby. A wolf. Curious to whether it was friend or foe, he tracked it, noticing the outline of a canid shape becoming more and more distinct. A dark brown wolf with amber eyes walking through the predawn woods.

The Beta Male blinked, recognizing the male as one of the newer packmates. He walked towards his subordinate, tail raising slightly to tell the male that he was in charge here. "Good morning." He rumbled.

Suddenly the shape of a fellow lupine emerged from the barely lit area.
Through reading the posture of the obsidian pelted hessian, Adair figured he must be a superior.

"Good morning.", the midnight male spoke to him.

After lowering his massive crown and silked tail to afhere to proper respect, only then did Adair reply.

"To you as well, friend. I am Adair, pleased to male your acquaintance.", murmured the wood sheathed 4 year old.

The brown male lowered his head, acknowledging his superiority. Kaname was pleased, it was good that wolves were acknowledging his status, unlike certain northerners. His tail twitched softly, breathing in Adair's sense. "You do not come to the Spine often, do you?" He barely could find his pack's scent on the male's pelt. "Where have you travelled, Adair?" He was curious, wondering where he had been and who he had been with. The Beta could not take any chances.

"You do not come to the Spine often, do you? "Where have you travelled, Adair?"

The hessian smiled a bit from the reminents of his happy travels, and said softly,

"I have been across the lands, far into the mountains, to a land of hills and streams, an garden of plentiful life, with promises of a future. "

Adair continued, with a gentle smile upon his maw,

"Aye, I have not roamed these lands since I have first joined the Ouroboros. I almost forgot my way back here. But I came back to say a farewell to anyone who I might have come across, even knowing that I have not met anyone of the pack..well..besides you. "

Looking at the slowly brightening sky, he gazed up, studying the clouds, but he returned his orbs back to the male infront of him.

"I know not who you are, nor whether you may approve of my sudden leave, or even whether you may care..but I made a goodbye gift for the one who I would run across before I left. "

Turning his head to the west, Adair pointed at the willow that was close to a nearby forest on the packs premises.

"There is a cache of sweets at the base of that tree. A couple of dried fat hares I caught when I first made my way here. They're smothered in strawberry and blackberry sauce, so by now, they should taste like heaven. If there is anything this old wolf is capable of..its making sweets. "

Turning back to the dark wolf before him, Adair had just realized that he hadn't caught this fellows name.

"What was your name, friend?",he asked with curious warm eyes.
Sorry for the wait! School consumed my schedule.

Occasionally, wolves did the same thing that Adair was doing. They would join, then leave within a few weeks. It was common for some to just disappear without anyone noticing, but in this case the Beta did notice. But unlike the others, Adair left something in return. A cache of sweets. How generous of him. Kaname made a mental note to check the cache out after this conversation was over. Maybe he could give one to Cara, if they were as good as he claimed.

"Kaname, Beta of this pack." He said with a twitch of his tail. "You can't be that old, Adair, you look to be about my age." The assassin chuckled. He had seen old wolves before, like Lecter. So old that their vision failed and they grew feeble. But, what did he know? Adair might just consider himself near the end of his life. Kaname thought he was slowly nearing the end of his prime, but not old. "Where are you going to?" He must have a good reason for leaving the pack. Like joining another, judging by the smell of him.

( Its perfectly fine! :D just haapy your back. Mind having Erika put her input on the thread me, you and Bazi made a while back?)

"Kaname, Beta of this pack."

Adair lowered his massive crown to show his respect for the second in command.
Returning it to its height, he listened to the others speak.

"You can't be that old, Adair, you look to be about my age."

This brought a bit more respect from Adair to the dark draped hessian before him.
Subtle as it may seem to Kaname, Adair thought life should be cherished while it still resided in whatever catalyst it lived it. To hear that he would have more time than expected, brought a smile to the brutes heart.

"Where are you going to?"

" I came by to say a farewell to anyone I came across, and again," smiled the 4 year old
"that would have happened to be you.", murmured the wood sheathed brute.
His question seemed to be misinterpreted, but he shrugged it off. So what if he responded differently than Kaname intended, he could just restate the question. The Beta remembered a time when he was younger and brash(er) and would snap at anyone he thought too dull to understand what he said. "And after you leave the Spine, where are you planning to go?"
( Gonna keep going as if he havent left yet. :3)

Adair thought of the question, putting very little effort, but more emphasis on it. After all, he had met the silvered wolf who came, bearing the desire to make a pack. He had already traveled with him, exploring the lands, learning names, that sort of deal.

"I will soon be one amongst few at the pack of Noctisardor Bypass, friend."

His ear flickered, an unconscious tick that denoted his annoyance at something. And that something was Adair. Why join a pack, not talk to anyone or stay in the territory at all, and then join another? "Why them instead of us, hm?"

The dark wolf spoke with a new question, this one Adair knew would comw at the mention of another pack.

"I have more ties with them. The leader has given me a chance. So I accepted it. Plus, he and I have known eachother quite a while, and I would have joined him, but his pack was currently overflowing. He too, has left his pack, staking claim on a new life. And I am assisting, by offering him my own."

Adair reflected upon his own words, wondering if his company would have given the words as much weight and consideration as he had.
"Hmm." he said at first in response. He had valid reasons for leaving; Kaname wouldn't hold it against him. But where was the pack? Were they close by, close rivals for food? Winter was coming. They did not want to risk competition. "Where is this pack?"
"It is far, past the mountains, up north, about a couple of days travel, if walking." the brute replied. He knew it's location by heart, though this was about his second time leaving.

Adair watched the male infront of him, using hazel orbs to see if he had any ill intentions of knowing the packs location.

He snorted, satisfied. They weren't close enough to be rivals for now. He noticed the look in Adair's eyes, mistrustful. Wondering: why had he asked? He had no intention of harming anyone a few days away, it was a waste of energy and time. He was content to let Adair leave and focus of hunting for his true packmates. "If it pleases you to leave, go ahead. I won't stop you." He muttered. "Have fun up north."

( Im so sorry I missed so much. Just came back from Vacation. Last post )

Adair took the invitation to leave, with a humble nod of his thickly silked head. This Kaname, very dismissive, he was.

"I will do just that. I bid you farewell, Kaname. Take care of yourself. "

With that, the 4 year old wood cloaked hessian took his time walking all the back to his new home, Noctisardor Bypass.
