sorry for my little shit :'^) she picks all the wrong fights. Since she is trespassing she can get one major injury.

Winter.

She hated Winter.

Food was annoying enough to get on her own, but with the incoming storms, it would only get harder. At the very least...she wasn't alone, but four wolves did not make up the efforts of a pack. Especially when one was a little shit head. There were easier ways to survive, and while she knew Akai wouldn't agree, it got her this far. Truly though, what was one small half-eaten carcass to a pack that could easily replace the meal. They wouldn't starve.

Ever since Keir joined their band of misfits, Kali couldn't help but keep her distance. Of course, Akai was going hover over him and his oh so tragic life. Hate to tell you Old Man, the world is full of pathetic sad wolves. She hadn't intended to wander so far, but after about three days she ended up catching a whiff of some nearby pack.

Kali spent another day or so watching. The wolves here were diligent and seemed to mark the borders well, but they couldn't have eyes everywhere at once. The raven girl waited until one of their patrols passed letting a decent amount of time pass before she dared step to the borders. She would have to work fast if she were to pull this off, so she put her nose to work in search of the nearest cache. Luck would be on her side as she found a small one not too deep into the territory and dug.

Originally she had expected to find a rabbit or bird, something easy to carry, though she was surprised to find the small pile of fish. Perhaps some would turn in disgust now, but Kali actually didn't mind the taste. It would do. Snatching the largest from the pile, the girl turned to run.
He had spent a good portion of his day wadding in the river's waters and catching whatever he could. One fish, in particular, was his best catch, it was large and meaty, easily could feed at least three wolves, or more if they were smaller wolves like under a year's age if they weren't starving. Dripping wet, he came back to the hoard of which he was building, a pile of fish to dig and hide for later use should anyone get hungry with no fresh prey to catch. He was proud of his work this day and when a stranger was seen carrying off his biggest prize...

The painted knight jumped into action. The medium trout dropped to the ground in a wet slap as he ran off, quickly toward the dark stranger with a growl ripping through his chest. He knew times were tough, it wasn't a famine like earlier this year... but still, winter was the beginning of the end for most who were unprepared. If this one had not trespassed, he would have happily tossed her a fish. But this was unacceptable.

Drop the fish and leave. This is your first and only warning. As Hiero always did, he offered a warning first. Tail lashing behind him with hackles slowly rising, time was ticking for this midnight woman, for her decision to be made. He could only hope she would do as he asked - maybe if they talked it out, he would be more open to show her how to fish and feed herself rather than just give her a meal to last one day.
Time after time again, Kali pushed her luck. The taste was almost intoxicating, or perhaps she was just dumb, but the idea that she could be the lucky one who got away, well...sooner or later she would have to face reality. Kali was never that lucky. As if on cue, as soon as she turned taking her first steps towards freedom, a growl sounded followed by a demand. Shit.

Ohhh, if only she listened. For some stupid reason, Kali did pause only to glance at the weirdly patterned man and adjust her grip on the fish so her words wouldn't be too jumbled as she responds, Whatcha' gonna do, bite me? Likely. She snickered to herself, turning abruptly as she made a dash for the borders. Yeah right, he could try.
Another day, another patrol.

Aliana ran a tongue over her lips while she patrols the borders of Kaistleoki. She strolled along with it at a lazy pace but her eyes kept their careful gaze on the border and over the horizon. She kept an eye out for any bear-shaped figures or coyotes looking for an easy meal. The last thing she wanted was for another coyote culling if she can help it.

So imagine the shock that it wasn’t a coyote that crossed the borders this time...but a wolf. Her hackles bristled with a wave of rising anger, similar to the She-wolf in the Plains, a line has been crossed. Figuratively and Literally. Aliana moves swiftly, charging through the Forest, following after the scent of the Stranger wolf until she came to the sight of the Constable confronting the trespasser, watching them talk for a moment before the She-wolf bolts for it.
With a snarl, she pivots and rushes in to intercept, fangs bared, hackles bristled. She knows they were to give the trespasser a chance to turn and leave, but she was itching to sink her fangs into this Invader. How dare she come onto their land, take their food! A meal that won’t even last her a week! The She-wolf was either really desperate or really dumb.

Aliana did her best to come in an angle in which the black She-wolf wouldn’t see her coming as most likely she’d be focused on Heiro to notice her coming in. She sought to barrel into She-wolf, tackling her into the ground, pin her with fangs seeking perch on the nape of her neck.
He didn't expect shit to hit the fan right off the bat, but hey! He was here for it. Dorian was doing a little walking and happened upon the scene. He saw Hiero, and a woman he didn't know - and another woman he didn't know. The Constable was snarling at the black coated one to drop the fish. Then the brown lady attacked. An audible gasp came from the coywolf as he, too, rushed.

What was it? What was this? Was he gonna do the right thing? For his pack, yeah. For the loner, no. Kaistleoki was a good pack full of good wolves. If only the vagabond had come to ask instead of take. Dorian held hope the woman would have made it out in one piece, if so! "Heya, Hiero" was what he chose to say first as he passed his new friend.

A wink and a grin before he circled the lone wolf, trying to grab her back leg. He knew he wasn't a great fighter so he kept to the back of her for the least possible injury.
Rolled a 9 so Kali's health should now be 41/50! Slight PP of Kali in this post with OOC permission since the roll thread wasn't up when attacks started

Like Aliana, Ira had been patrolling too when the incident occurred. She hadn't been too far away so when the snarl sounded, she was quick to stop in her tracks and search for the source. By the time she made it to the scene, it seemed chaos had already ensued. Hiero was bristling, a dark girl fleeing with a large fish hanging from her maw while Aliana and another she did not recognize rushed to catch her.

For a moment her chest swelled with pride to see her pack ready to defend what was theirs. Winter was here and with it came an extra load of hardships. They had no food to spare, not for outsiders. Like the others, Ira rushed hoping for fangs to meet flesh. The black girl had just narrowly avoided Aliana's hulking form, though Dorian's teeth seemed to surprise her. It was small, but it was enough of a pause to bring her to her target. A snarl sounded as Ira lunged, her fangs slicing into the girl's shoulder as she found a grip.

Despite her efforts to steal, she didn't want to kill her. She looked young, probably desperate with snow beginning to fall. Her pelt offered no plethora of scents meaning she was packless. Hungry. Leaving the fish behind would be enough for her. There were other ways to survive in the wilds and this girl would just have to learn that.
Yes. He almost sounded like he was humored by her, light and jokingly in tone despite his less than impressed scowl. He took a threatening step forward, the last final warning he would issue should she refuse his verbal one - and someone else came barging in to finish his threat for him. Aliana came rushing in, barely giving the woman time to think about her decision. No time to think now, Aliana was in and so was the painted knight! As she ran, they pursued.

Dorian was the second to arrive, calling out a greeting to the Constable to which he could only smile to see him arrive so quickly. Finally Ira too, of course she would. They were all on the stranger and her stolen prize, and as her attention turned to Ira who was right in her face, Hiero made the move to bark and growl, snarl and foam to be the loudest distraction he could to take her attention away from Ira's face.

Attempting to push and shove the ebony woman, he snapped and bit at whatever just to be the center of her attention. If anyone was going to get hurt here, it would be him. He would make damn well certain of that.
A 10 LMAO i'm sorry ira: 40/50 kali: 38/40

Like a swarm they descended, one after another as Kali quickly found herself outnumbered. The first to charge had almost been undetected, but the sheer size of her was enough to stop her in her tracks. What the fucking hell was that a bear?! She managed to skid just in time to avoid the collision though it left her blind to the other two who rushed.

Teeth grabbed hold along her leg and shoulder, the blood that was drawn enough to draw out a surprised yelp. In the process, she had dropped her prize, a new level of annoyance forming as her odds only increasingly went downstream. The funny-looking guy, unlike his packmates, made the mistake of getting in her face, teeth snapping just close enough to graze her. She would deal with him, but first the literal pain in her side.

A flame ignited in her gaze as amber hues locked onto the equally tall grey woman now latched to her shoulder. Were they all freakishly tall or was she just short? Kali tried to tug free of the hold, but it was no use, so she bit back. Her own growl echoed as ivories shot out grabbing the Count's muzzle and sliced easily into the soft flesh. She might be stupid, but even she knew never to leave your face exposed.
The ire of Kaistleoki beset the intruder with little mercy; karma has come in the form of several fangs that were now digging themselves into She-wolf. Aliana saw the shocked look on the She-wolf’s face when she practically leaped out of nowhere, and it was utterly priceless. She probably wasn't accounting that the Pack would be home to such large wolves like Ira and herself. She could only imagine what was going through her head right now.

Fear? Panic? Anger?

Didn’t matter. Not at this moment. As hungry as she could be, she should have known. So punishment must be dealt and a lesson must be taught.

After watching a bit, the she-wolf began to lash out, fangs scoring Ira’s muzzle. Anger sparking up again, and Aliana quickly leaped into the fray with a snarl, fangs bared. She sunk them into the She-wolf’s flank, pulling and shaking her head roughly. She tore the skin and dug into the flesh, blood danced on her tongue. Not a terrible wound but one that would hurt and leave a scar. A reminder to seek permission before taking something that’s not hers. A reminder that next time if she did this again with another pack, she might not just leave with a few painful wounds.
Strength of the pack aside, he felt a bit bad. Dorian knew how it was to feel hungry and desperate. He had been a vagabond for some time before this pack took him in. He also knew that winter made wolves do things they wouldn't, and he hoped for the loner's sake she would learn her lesson. Quickly.

He sank his teeth into her tail, more or less a pathetic nibble compared to the rest of the assault. He didn't want to hurt her much - and it showed in his own actions. He hoped the others wouldn't hold it against him, but he could play it off as being an inexperienced fighter. So he hoped.
rolled a 3, went for her tail
As the Count made her hold, so did the others, each one rushing to take their own bite as the girl finally dropped the fish she had stolen. However, instead of a cry or attempt to run, she bit back. Fangs raked into her muzzle, a burning sensation that caused Ira to pull away quickly. She could feel as teeth tore at her skin, hot blood pooling already at the sensitive tissue. To think she had given the girl a chance too, but it was clear this was a rock she wished to die on. Anger was never something that got the best of her, but it seemed today was the wrong day to push lines.

A snarl rose in her throat as she shook off the initial shock and pain coursing through her snout, LEAVE! Ira didn't care if it was in tatters or that she was just a young fool. She would learn here or die for her stupidity. Despite her words, she wouldn't let the intruder simply walkout. Ira lunged again, latching at her vulnerable side, and shook her head with a force to tear.
The poor woman was surrounded, everyone taking their part of her. Ira even called for her to leave. The woman had her chance, and though Kaistleoki were a kind bunch, they had proven themselves once before with trespassers on how unwelcoming they can be when necessary. If the girl didn't turn to leave now, he feared for her health - but, what else were they to do? If she was too prideful to save her skin, there was little any of them could do other than act upon their rights as beasts to protect their lands. Keeping to her front, the Constable tried to keep her attention on him. Snapping and growling to her face, cheek, ears, anything to stop her from biting anyone else.
uhhh math says kali is at... 9 hp LOL need one more post for warrior trade so she'll try to run next round

It had all happened so fast, as each one's fangs tore into her she could feel her adrenaline rushing. Pain coursed through her body, but at least for one moment, the pain had lessened. The grey one recoiled as blood spilled down her face. It would have been a triumphant moment had the painted guy not aimed for her face.

She was yelled at to leave, ironic since they wouldn't actually let her now, but it wouldn't stop her from trying to pull free of the fangs buried into her. Kali turned her focus to the one holding her leg, though when she failed to pull her limb free, she reared back her other leg to try and kick her in the face. It was weak, her strength fading by the second, but she refused to die. Not here. Not yet.

Fuckin' let go of me then!
The stranger kicked at her in an attempt to get her to let go. Though the effort barely dissuaded her. They seemingly bounced off of the thick guard hairs that were backed by powerful muscles molded, tested, and strengthened by years of ordeals.  A measly kick will do nothing but surprisingly Aliana did let go. A bleeding wound was left in her wake as her jaws went to seek another place grab.

This was what she wanted to do in the first place with the trespasser, unfortunately, slipping by her. Aliana roughly grabbed the trespasser by the nape, a little too roughly as she felt and tasted more hot blood well up. Aliana ignored it while she raised a forepaw and placed it down on the She-wolf’s back. Together with her weight and strength, she pressed down in an effort to get the She-wolf down onto the ground. That’s all she wanted out of her; to lay down and submit. She would bite harder if the She-wolf were to struggle.
Aliana did all of this trying to keep in mind that this was some young wolf, a yearling who was a few months old. But still, a yearling who should have known better.
The trespasser told them to let her go. Dorian subconsciously let go of her tail, fearing he'd be labelled a coward. He just didn't feel right about this. She asked them to stop and they kept going at her. He backed away, not daring to look at Hiero. He told the guy he wasn't a fighter - but he had tried. For his new friend. For the pack that Hiero cared about.

Shit, I'm sorry he wanted to say to the yearling. He wanted to say sorry to Hiero, to Ira, to the other woman that came to assist. He knew that no amount of thanking would ever make the trespasser believe he meant it. Dorian had clamped down on her tail. He had done the deed of violence. It was hard to believe what he felt right now.

dorian has stopped attacking since the HP is 0
also stopping since HP is at 0

Perhaps it was her own fault for not letting go when she could have. She could have backed off, told the others to let her be so she could freely escape with her life, but the girl continued to struggle and the Count had seen that look before. She would not have left peacefully. Even now she fought back, though it would all come to an end as Aliana roughly grabbed the girl and tried to force her to submit. The motion jerked her as Ira pulled back, her fangs ripping flesh as she pulled away, blood staining her maw parts of her chest as she watched Dorian also back off.

This fight was over. Any further and she would literally lose her life, though she had no intention of killing young blood on these lands. Ira cast a glance at her Constable, looking to see if he would offer a solution before she cast her gaze back to the girl. Aliana. A single command, though there was no bite to her words. A simple acknowledgment that the woman had done enough. Should their intruder try something again, it would be easy to overpower her. Learn your lesson, you are lucky to leave with your life. Others will not be as kind during this season. I will not repeat myself again. Leave.
The woman demanded to let go and everyone else seemed to step back. The Constable kept close enough to her, threatening with silence and a glare that should she make the wrong move, he was more than happy to end her right here and now. With hackles still risen, I'll walk you to the borders, move. His voice was stern, unmoving in its decision. There was no room to talk herself out of this now.

At least with his escorting, she wouldn't be attacked by anyone else who didn't already know she was here. Not to mention, he could stop her from doing any more damage by not being watched carefully... He'd walk with her, as slow as needed due to her injuries - but he wouldn't let her rest until she was long gone... and he'd wait at the borders too until she was out of his sight, as long as necessary.

[last from me! <3]
last from me!

For a moment, it seemed as if her demand had been honored, though the brief freedom of fangs was met with a weight as the bear woman forced her to the ground, her legs buckling from the pain and lack of strength that had seeped out of fresh wounds. Kali wiggled, desperate to relieve some of the weight, though it seemed that the fangs only dug deeper as her face was smashed into the dirt.

The grey one, probably their leader, spoke again this time calling out to one of the others. Her words cut like a knife as her stubborn side wished to retaliate once more, but even if she could her limbs felt like jelly. She would be lucky to even make it to the borders though she would try once given the chance to stand. She was bitter, but she knew when her efforts were better spent elsewhere.

This was the only outcome she should have expected. After all, when was she ever good at anything? Once she was finally allowed to stand, the dark girl would spit the dirt from her mouth, a cold stare latching to those who dared watch before she turned to slowly make her way out. Only once would she speak, though her words were hushed, Burn with the fire of hell.

Aliana glanced at Ira the moment her name was called and stepped off of the She-wolf. Her head low, ears curled back slightly as she felt that she may have gone a bit overboard. She left that up to Count’s opinion; she felt she did what she must to end the fight.
She stood back as Ira berated the She-wolf with professionalism to it, it was a lesson to learn, wounds to lick off.   The She-wolf looked back at them with a glare sharply,  a wrathful fire burning behind them. Aliana only snorts, glaring back but it was with a mixture of the same disappointment from before. As a She-wolf that had been raised in a very territorial pack, there was little pity from her. The only pity was that she was young and most likely didn’t know any better or was just foolish in general. The black She-wolf said nothing, silent while Heiro escorted her off their lands.

Aliana let out a sigh, licking some of the blood off her lips before looking around. Once again Orlaith was nowhere to be seen. She hadn’t seen her patrolling of late and you’d think she’d be here to chase off the intruder. In fact, she hadn’t seen her for a while but there was no real confirmation that she had left or anything. To Aliana felt like she had been ghosting around Kaistleoki; being there but not physically. Curiosity itched at her but not enough to start seeking out answers just yet.
For now, she stayed with the small group till the Tresspesser was gone from sight before peeling off to go wash herself off. Today was a hectic day...
With the fight done and over with, Dorian saw little reason to remain. He gave a nod to the others gathered before marching off. He'd been lucky, honestly. No wounds. No blood. Just sharp pains of guilt settling in. The trespasser was escorted by Hiero, and the others were leaving.

So no talking? Okay then. Shuffling backwards until he made sure it was okay to leave, he'd turn on the spot and go further into the territory. His first real taste of battle left him feeling... weird. If it was just one on one, he'd feel less bad. If it was two against one, sure. But almost the whole pack?

Not enough to make him leave - oh no - but enough to make him feel bad. But he understood the need to protect borders. He didn't blame his pack mates at all.

exit!
Hieronymous was quick to step in and take charge of escorting their trespasser out, something she greatly appreciated with the blood that still ran down her snout. At the very least, it seemed her bite had been the worst of the injuries dealt to Kaistleoki, but it was one that Speedy should still see. One by one they departed, though Ira remained until they had all moved on. The dark glare shot her way was not missed, but one she was more than willing to ignore. Surely the girl was bitter, but she should know better by now. Once everyone had left, she too would go only after moving the stolen fish back to the cache the girl had pried it from, before making her way to find their Chamberlain.
