Under normal circumstances, Tabrielle would insist; however, the she-wolf was not up to the challenge of convincing Holland otherwise. At least, not right now. “All right,” she replied steadying herself against him.

There was a comfort in his diligent professionalism, and she was drawn to him—perhaps even leaning on him a bit more than necessary. His fur was warm against her, and she welcomed the sensation, though remained respectfully aware of his signals. This was after all—a job.

“Ready,” she offered, lightly dragging her back paw and then "you must have family here then?--"
He huffs, slowly shaking his head. "No" his family disowned him once he defected "the Glen is mostly made up of another family" Holland decided to be honest with Tabrielle "from my understanding, they branched from another pack. The old one was full. The Glen is made up of young wolves."

He takes strides toward the stream with her, the process slow but he is patient. Once they reach it, he instructs her to sit. "The cold water make the swelling go down" he says with a nod "but it will sting" considering the state of her paws, he expected her to react in pain. "at first." Eventually it'll calm down.

And wash away the dirt and grime.
